How do I download my software purchases with Snow Leopard

I had a virus on my iMac desktop.  I erased entire hard drive after I did a backup.  I installed my original software that came with my computer (Snow Leopard).  Now I cannot download Yosemite which I have already purchased.

You need to apply the 'combo updater' to bring Snow Leopard up to 10.6.8 and make the App Store availablle. Then you will be able to use that to install Yosemite.

Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
The Personal Hotspot feature using USB  should be as simple as connecting the device to your Mac via the USB cable when Hotspot is enabled.  Here is some more information regarding this feature and an article that will provide some troubleshooting steps if you are experiencing an issue.

  • TA48312 How can I download Mac OSX 10.6 snow leopard

    Hi ,
I use to Mac OS X v10.5.8 but I want to update to my MacBook and I need to Mac OSX v10.6 snow leopard... ???

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
Mac OS X Snow Leopard is not free. It can be purchased in a DVD at the Apple Online Store > http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
Before upgrading, make a backup of your files onto an external drive with Time Machine. After upgrading, open  > Software Update to install Mac OS X 10.6.8, so you will be able to install iTunes 11.1.4.
If you want to upgrade to OS X Mavericks, see > http://www.apple.com/osx/how-to-upgrade

  • How do I transfer files from mac with snow leopard to a new retina display mac

What is the easiest way to transfer files from my old mac(2008) snow leopard to my new retina display mac book pro?

Easiest? Well there is some sort of wireless transfer thing, but I hear it takes FOREVER like several days and it's glitchy.
The Retina doesn't have a Firewire port I believe, so Target Disk Mode is out, unless you have a adapter and I don't know how well that will work out. Cost another $30 for the adpatper I bet.
    The likely most easiest?
Run down to any computer or office store and pickup a powered external USB hard drive that's the same size or larger then the old Mac's boot drive.
Boot the old Mac and download Carbon Copy Cloner.
(or use the TimeMachine if it asks, but it takes a reallly long time and if there are problems, then it's harder to recover files from)
Format the external drive in Disk Utility with Partition: option GUID and OS X Extended Journaled (default setting)
Use CCC to clone OLD A boot drive to External Drive B, takes about a few hours depending how much stuff you have.
Hook up drive to new Mac, (either clone or TimeMachine drive)
Use the free Migration Assistant in your Application Utility folder to transfer over, but creates a new user account (you can later delete one)
Or if you haven't set up the new Mac yet, when you do set it up during that process, you can transfer from the External Drive B and it won't have the account you set the machine up with naturally just uses the ones from the clone or TimeMachine drive.
Once your fine and dandy on the new machine, then Disk Utility erase and use the external USB to create either a bootable clone with CCC or a TimeMachine drive for backup.
Since you need a backup drive anyway, this method is better and happens to be reliable and easy.

  • Belkin n52te Speedpad with Snow Leopard

Several folks have posted threads (now archived) asking how to get a n52te to work with Snow Leopard, but did not get responses. Here is how I got mine to work on my late 2010 Mac Pro (running with the 32-bit kernel (64-bit does not work for me)).
Install the belkin driver (v1.04) from the CD (the website has an older version). You'll probably get the error that at the kernel file did not install right. Reboot per instructions.
After rebooting, check to see if the file n52te.kext is installed in system/library/extensions. If not, get a copy from the installer (n52te Editor.pkg) and manually copy there. (Right click on the installer to Show Package Contents, copy the file Archive.pax.gz to your HD, expand this file, expand the folders, then move the n52te.kext file to system/library/extensions.) Reboot.
Open the prefpane "n52te editor" and go to the Device tab. You will probably get the message "n52te not connected". That means that the process "n52teHelper" is not loaded. Manually reinstall the prefpane "n52te Editor.prefPane" by getting a copy from the installer (n52te Editor.pkg) again. Right click on the installer to Show Package Contents, copy the file Archive.pax.gz to your HD, expand this file, expand the folders, then double-click the file "n52te Editor.prefPane" in the archive. If you open activity monitor, you should see the process n52teHelper and this process should run at boot-up (check your accounts log-in items). You might have to reboot again. Now the n52te works and is configurable.
If you want to run with the 64-bit kernel, configure the n52te booted in 32-bit kernel and reboot for the 64-bit kernel. The n52te works (except for application autoswitching) but you cannot edit the configuration. To edit, boot back into 32-bit kernel or use virtualization and run the windows version of the editor (I can use Parallels 6 running XP). Both options work for me.

I'm afraid you a working with a lost cause.
Have you considered getting a Logitech G13? They cost about $65. They do have drivers for 10.6
Nobody here can upload any file (there's no upload function on this forum or a place to upload it to). All any user can do from this site is to point you at a download link that might exist somewhere on the Internet. A simple Google search for your device drivers for Mac comes up with just more problems with no solutions, and you should know by now that Belkin dropped development for your device back in 2009. Nobody on this site has ever gotten the device to work properly for several years.
Belkins' site only had drivers for 10.4 and 10.5 and they were a beta (test) version. I'd say that Razer has abandoned this product. There were reports that the firmware update conflicted with the 10.5.6 update and there's no reason it won't get broken with any system update we get from Apple in the future.
Razer (the company that designed the product that Belkin made) shows the n52te as a "Legacy" product so it doesn't appear they will be working with the drivers any longer. Their newer "Nostromo" device (also made by Belkin) doesn't have any Mac drivers at all...
With 10.7 on the way in the future, I wouldn't care to put buggy trickly installation junk in my OS. It will be very difficult to trouble shoot any problems the drivers might have or cause, and create problems or become totally useless whenever you have any system updates.
I'd be looking to sell that device to a windows user and buy a device that's fully compatible with the current Mac OS. If you really have to use the product then your best solution would be to use Bootcamp and install Windows on your Mac, use the device on a PC, or get an old Mac that will run Tiger.

I purchased Adobe Design Standard in June 1993 and have not downloaded it until now. when I click on the software on my account there is no download button. How can I download the software I purchased so long ago? I hope it is not money down the drain. Is there any phone number available so I can talk to an Adobe employee?

Which version of Design Standard are you asking about?  I don't think any Creative Suite packages existed in 1993.  I think the first CS came out in 2003.

How do I download a previously purchased PSE to a new PC?

You must install it from your original installation media. You can't move an installed copy of PSE--it's too complicated of a program, with bits and bobs all over your hard drive. If you bought PSE as a download and it's a version less than three years old, you can go to the main page of adobe.com and look for My Adobe and there may a be a download link your store account.
