I bought Photoshop 6.0 from a Library in Los Angeles County. The disk didnt work. However, I do have the serial number. I would like to know if I can download the Adobe photoshop 6.0???

Umm, seriously? PS 6.0 from 1999 or whenever that was? If so, then no, I know of no official download location and you will have to surf some very dark places of the Internet. That aside, it won't work on contemporary operating systems, anyway, so you may be trying to fix something that can't be fixed...

    Are you on Mac OS X or Windows?
    Check that there is not a version of Photoshop CS6 yet on your system to uninstall. On Windows check from the Control Panel. On Mac OS X check at Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers for a Uninstall Adobe Photoshop CS6 link.
    If there is nothing to uninstall then you can run the Adobe Cleaner Tool which can be downloaded from http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html. Use it to remove any traces of Photoshop CS6.
