How do I download podcast onto my pc? I already do have iTunes. It ask me to type in podcast name ending in xml then click on install but where is the rest of the name?? where do I find this? Might be something simple I just seem to miss. Help!!! lol
The easiest way to subscribe to a podcast is locate it in a directory. There will normally be a link with the URL of the feed. This is like any other link but your podcatcher, iTunes in this case, knows how to read the text file stored there to access the individual episodes and download or stream them for you. If you know the name of the podcast, and it is registered with iTunes you can go into the podcasts section of your iTunes library, click iTunes Store, then use the search box at the top right. If you have the full URL for the podcast you can use File > Subscribe to Podcast..., or you can use a link on the providers web site.
Using the iTunes directory is usually the easiest way.
Click on the link for the podcast (4) to open the next screen,
and either subscribe (5) or download individual episodes without subscribing (6).

I think my computer can handle it (specs above) Are there any workarounds to this?If you're getting a "This update requires Mac OS X version 10.7" message, than you have the updater and not the full installer. Go to your Purchases section of the Mac App Store and you should see the full version there. But it may be 10.7.5, though in my system is shows as being from 2011 which would appear to be the original version.
As to Mountain Lion, that's supported only on the Early 2008 Mac Pro or newer.

But i really wonder how you did that. did you always switch between design view and preview view, then change the key position for 2px then switch back, to align the four letters? because i imagine that can get really frustrating, if you have a logo consisting of 58 parts instead of 4!:)

The reason, I included the annotation that I'd upgraded my Itunes, (On my Computer) is B/C in many forums - the very first question, *HELPERS* ask, is. "Do you have the latest version of Itunes downloaded on your computer." I wanted to knock out any obvious replies.
Now- "DO YOU have any idea,"... how your UNHELPFUL remarks, do absolutely nothing but hurt others that might not have the EXPERIENCE you have? How do you expect people to know things without asking questions? Whew! RUDE!!

How to include the file name as an XML field
Hi,
I'm using a file adapter for process a flat file and convert it into an XML. Does anybody knows how to include the file name into an XML field.
Ex.
I process the file named <b>XXIMN21022007.txt</b> and I need an XML like:
<MT_FILE>
<field1></field1>
<field2></field2>
<field3></field3>
<filename><b>XXIMN21022007.txt</b></filename>

Check the sender file adapter to write the filename in the header (as explained in Michal's blog) and then read that header in some mapping.
U can use that even in simple message mappings.

When when you run the LR5 installer it will see you have the Mac app store version and it will get a serial number from Adobe to use for LR5.

It's a waste of a very expensive Mac to use it as a simple Netflix/TV streamer when less expensive and more capable devices exist. The Mac will get dirty from being exposed, overheat and just be a pain hooking cables whenever you want to watch TV and trying to fiddle with a remote.
A better low cost option is to get either a $60 Roku or a AppleTV, or if you want to play BlueRay and regular movie DVD's and have a few video games around for the kids, then a Playstation. Buy a HDMI cable online, they are only about $10.
All three options have a remote control, and every thing is designed to work on the screen, no need for the computer.
With the Mac, your going to have problems with copy protection, sound and other accessibility problems as computers are not really designed to be used as entertainment devices, or to power a big screen, but rather versatile tools, and along with that versatility comes some sacrifice.
You can use the same Netflix account for both the Mac AND the Roku etc., at the same time, in fact both are very much integrated, watch one show on the Mac while having another on the TV.
Also if you so happen to burn out or have a electrical accident with the less expensive device, it's only $60, instead of a few thousand $$ with the Mac. Not to mention once you set it up, the Roku, AppleTV etc is pretty much done, sits there ready to be used as intended for anyone to use who can push a button. -

How can I download video from a Canon ZR30 video camera to my IMac? I have Elgato Video Capture, but the provided connectors are loose in the camera and the camera does not have a white female end. No signal shows up on the computer when I connect the red and yellow connectors.

Which camera make and model are your Raw files from?
Camera Raw ships with Photoshop and is constantly upgraded by Adobe to keep up with new cameras as they are released to market.
It's likely that your camera requires a version of Camera Raw which is not compatible with your CS5. Or you may simply need to upgrade Camera Raw via Help > Updates in Photoshop. -

You can transfer itunes purchases from iphone to computer: File>Transfer Purchases
You need to copy everything from your backup copy of your old computer to your new computer. -

Connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and copy any purchases off the iPad to your computer via File > Transfer Purchases. In the iTunes where I sync my iPod Touch where in the summary section it says "check for Update", next to it, it says "iTunes will automatically check for an update again on 7/15/08", I also hit the back up button and it tells me that 1.1.4 is the current Version, do I have to wait till the 15th for that update??

Mrs. Trisha Fosterthe update is ready on the servers but is just waiting to be pushed through to itunes. I am in australia and I contacted apple technical support, that's what they told me. Don't restore your ipod, just wait and when you connect and click on update, it will update your ipod and there will also be an icon on the home page of the itunes store. We are all waiting in anticipation.
