How do I download previously purchased Photoshop Elements 11 and 12 to new laptop?
I received a new Toshiba Satellite Touchscreen laptop for Christmas and I want to download my previously purchased Photoshop Elements 11 and 12. I need help and/or instructions on how to do this on my new Windows 8 OS as I tried and had to uninstall the programs. Your help will be most appreciated!!!
If you originally downloaded the applications you might find links to do that again via your Adobe account online. Beyond that, here are some link where you can download the trial versions and use your serial number to activate to full use.
For the prodesigntools links be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

I purchased Photoshop Elements and Premiere package today. I have been trying to download them but it tells me the serial numbers are inapplicable. I am using a mac book pro and I have just noticed that the platform in my receipt says 'win" . I don't remember being given an option for mac or windows when purchasing. what can i do now?

When you download something from the iCloud, it is a brand new licensed copy. Your iCloud account just contains a notation that you have this app. It isn't storing an actual copy of the app from your Mac.

It is not clear what you mean. Normally one does not generate a serial number, it is provided with the purchase.

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion.
Use your backup to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to backup ( not good), then you can transfer from an ipod: File>Transfer Purchases

ThanksThey should be on the computer. Just sync them as you did the last ipod.
If you failed to put them on the computer then redownload them using the instruction in the article your reference above. -

It would help if you would tell us which version. If it's PSE 12, just install the trial and enter your serial number into that.

When downloading a "Purchased" Photoshop package and you get an "Error 6", how do you actually get to speak with someone at Adobe? The program appeared to download properly and requested that I restart my computer, which I did, it indicated that I was experiencing an "Error 6" - and despite all of my efforts I could not find a single screen that would take me to a person at Adobe to assist me. It referred me to this source, and unfortunately I have a very unique situation that possibly only they could answer. Any help you could give me will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Do you mean CS2 won't run on your present operating system?
Admittedly CS2 is rather old and Adobe no longer supports it, but it should still run on older operating systems. Which OS do you have?
Elements is one option. However if you want PS Extended with all the bells & whistles, look at the $10/mo Photography plan which includes Lightroom.

I just purchased photoshop elements and went to retrieve my serial code. The web page provided to retrieve it loads blank, even when clicking on the URL through adobe's web site. I can not install my product without this. Please help
