There are two apps that I know of - and I would also swear that they come from the same developer, although they've different names. Both have free trials and both cost $40 (but both do 'other' video conversion as well).
One is WonderShare - I bought this one and it works very well for downloading YouTube videos as well as converting just about any file format you can think of.
The other is iSkysoft Video Converter (just noticed that it's now $36).
I tried them both and finally decided on WonderShare. Give them both a trial run and decide if you like either one enough to buy it. I don't know of any 'free' software that will allow you to download and convert YouTube videos, but perhaps someone else will come along and know of something...

I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. The Mac App Store should have been installed when you updated your Mac to Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.6, 10.6.7 or 10.6.8.

When trying to watch videos on various websites including YouTube, the video screen is completely green. I can hear the audio, but no visual. This does not happen with every video, but it is fairly common for me. When I try to watch the same videos with Internet Explorer they work fine. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I am having a pb similar to Capain Jeff but with internet explorer. On a website to watch news with video streaming, after the ads are displayed the flash player bugs and the browser stopps and the screen goes grey if i keep clicking.
I had he same green screen on youtube but fixed it thanks to the 1st post from cor-el.

When watching videos on YouTube and other sites, the sound plays for a few seconds and then stops.

I've ensured that the sound is working by pressing the volume up/down buttons and by looking in System Preferences to check it's switched to Internal Speakers, and sound plays through iTunes, so I think it could be something to do with Safari. When I Quit Safari and reopen it the sound tends to work, but then goes off again.
Any ideas or suggestions would be most welcome.

How to install
