How do I drag open and close on release?

Ok here is what I am trying to do. I have an HD video that I shot of curtains or drapes opening and closing. I would like to make something in Flash where someone could click one side of the curtain and pull it open. When they release the mouse it should close back. In the video both sides open at the same time so I'm not sure if I can make the sides independent or not. If I can do this I may also want to make a version where the curtain stays where they released it.
After I make a web version I am going to try to turn it into an app for a smart phone. The online use with a mouse is way more important at this time.
I am using Flash CS5.

What I have to start with is a real video from a video camera. I want to know if I can have a user click one side of the curtain and as they drag it will step through the frames on the video. I would like to make each curtain independant from each other if possible. If that's not possible I still need for the user to be able to click and pull the curtain open. I wou ld also like the option to make it when the user lets go of the mouse button the curtain falls back into place. And maybe have a version where it stays where they let go of the button.
Anyone think this is possible?

Make a document to your liking.
Change the Body style and any other styles in :
+Menu > Show Styles Drawer > click on the little triangle next to Body > redefine Style from Selection+
Capture the page:
+Menu > Format > Advanced > Capture Pages… > Name it > OK+
+Menu > Format > Advanced > Manage Pages… > Delete other Sections/Pages > OK+
Save as a template:
+Menu > File > Save as Template…+
+Menu > Pages > Preferences > General Preferences > For New Documents > click Use template: > Choose > browse to the template above+

First i would like to tell about fiscal year
fiscal year is nothing but a financial year of company in sap . it contain 12 normal periods and 4 special periods.In genaral we will call like month but that is sap that is a period. so 12 period for 12 months ok next special period will use in all companies for audit and tax adjustment purpose of previous year.
coming to the open and close periods.in sap for security purpose we have to open one period like this month july so i opened july period only we cant post the pervious month (june)and we cant post future month lik in (Auguest)ok
You can close and open periods by transaction ob52.
In transaction ob52 there are account types
+ Valid for all account types
A Assets
D Customers
K Vendors
M Materials
S G/L accounts
V Contract accounts
+ means all types. if you want to open vendor then enter period from and to according to your fiscal year.
you cant adjust items in closed period. if you want to then you have to open the period

How do I open and close VIs from within a VI?

Ladies and gentlemen,
I would like to use a VI to open and close other VIs based on user input. Example: The first VI will have text that reads: "Does the car have heated mirrors?" There will be two buttons: one for "YES" and the other for "NO."
If the user hits the "NO" button, the current VI will close and a similar VI will open that asks the user the next question, "Are the mirrors lighted?" "YES" or "NO..."
If the user hits the "YES" button, the current VI will close and another will open that will tell the user to "Activate the heated mirrors" and press a button that will say "NEXT." At that point, that VI will close, and in two minutes another VI will open and ask the user "Is the driver's side mirror hot?" with another set of "Yes" or "No" buttons. If the user presses "YES" we will have verified that the heated driver's side mirror is working properly and store that information somewhere . If the user presses "NO", the VI will close and another VI will open with some kind of repair instruction and a button that says "RETEST" that will rerun the heated mirror test when repairs are completed.
During the two minutes we are waiting for the mirrors to heat up the program should move on to the next question: "Are the mirrors lighted?" "YES" or "NO..."
Does anyone know how to manipulate VIs in this way? Please help!

Instead of opening and closing vi's, just create one main vi with a state machine architecture. Search for examples on state machines to get a basic understanding of them. This is pretty complex so I have written an example of how this could be accomplished. The trick part was the 2 minute timer (my vi is set for 5 seconds for quick testing). Each state produces a question, and depending on the answer, the next state is inserted into a queue. You can add more states for more questions and answers. Notice that the boolean buttons can be hidden if you just want to show one button (like Next) instead of two buttons (Yes and No). Study the vi and let me know if you have questions.

How can you automate the monthly opening of MM periods (transaction MMPV - program RMMMPERI) with

RMMMPERI accepts a period/year or a date.
If you enter a date the period is derived by it.
1. create a variant and check the attribute 'selection variable' for the parameter date. Then click the button 'Selection variables' and set the current date. Every time this variant is used the parameter DATE is filled with the current date.
2. create a job for RMMMPERI with the variant created in the preceding step. Set it as periodic.
If you're not using a fiscal year variant simply schedule it as monthly (to be executed the first day of the month).
If you are using a fiscal year variant you'd have to define a calendar with only the first day of each period defined as working
day and use it in the periodicity restrictions.
Another possibility:
Write a very simple ABAP which run daily to check if the period has changed and submit RMMMPERI.

I have set iCal up to open it no problem...however, the application needs you to click yes before entering into it upon boot.
How do I do this and close the app. I tried creating a workflow in automator, but iCal simply opens the workflow and does not play it. This also does not solve the issue of needing the 'yes' button to be clicked.

First of all read SAP Note 487381. T-code MMPI. If you don't have a backup or a request saved on development client with the previous period, you may try to modify the record on the table MARV (don't try yourself - discuss with a specialist who know your SAP system). If there isn't any records it won't be a problem!

I feel certain the answer I need is in the reply you posted here, but I need a little more help to know exactly what to do. I am using a collapsible panel to show and hide a series of onload panoramic photos near the top of my page. What I want is for the collapsible panel to be open on some pages and closed on others and I want the animation of the panel closing to be seen too. I'm thinking this should be achievable with some sort of onload trigger or something. Currently I've gotten close to what I want by referencing two different .js files (one for the "open" panel state and another for the "closed" panel state), but this doesn't show the graceful animation of the panel closing. How can I enable the center mouse click to open and close tabs in Firefox and Chrome?

I have a MacBook Pro Model A1261 purchased in 2009. On my other mac at work (and my PC) I can center click to open a link in a new tab while in Chrome or FireFox, and also to close a tab by clicking on it in the tabs at the top. I am using an external USB mouse on my MacBook Pro and when I click the center scroll wheel it brings up the dashboard. I looked in the settings but wasn't able to find a way to change that setting for the center button to open and close tabs in my web browser. Is there a way? Please help!

I think if you're using a UDF to set this Status for Marketing documents
First you need to set what item corresponds to each Status level you're tryinf to deploy
After that you can use SDK to set this new property or Formatted searches to change the Status you re creating, and save the document as a draft during your process and your status.
But if you're trying to change the fiel Status used on every Marketing document (i mena the system one), you should know that it is impossible 'cause this is an only read system field.
