How do i duplicate and mirror a mask

Using Photoshop CC I have created an image with a very difficult multi point select tool (the polygon lasso tool), layer mask and box filter. Instead of redrawing the multi point selection again is there a way to duplicate just the mask and i know I can flip an individual layer horizontal before moving the image to the canvas. I tried and succeeded once but be damned if I can remember how i did it. I will need to repeat and flip a bunch of images so using this ability to quickly dup and flip a mask would be very helpful. Like I said I did it once already so I know it is possible. I have been trying again but have not stumbled upon it yet. If I do figure it out again I will gladly post it here.

You can duplicate a mask by holding down the alt/opt key while dragging the mask to another layer.
You can hold down the ctrl/cmd key to create a selection when clicking on the mask
You will find the horizontal and vertical commands in the edit menu's transform sub menu.
If you save the selection in the selection menu (this will place the mask in the channels panel) you can click on that thumbnail in the channels panel to edit the mask as though it is an image. Which would allow you to flip it. You can then load the selection in the selections menu to use that mask as a selection.
If something does not work as I describe, please let me know. I am going from memory, I can run photoshop to verify if needed.

I need to adapt a design to a billboard; it was originally created by our parent company's marketing. The billboard company just informed me that I need to incorporate a bleed area and the document does not have that.
I think it's using a mask on the items that will need to bleed, so I need to find the masking box and expand it to meet the bleed. But since I did not create this document, I have no idea how to find it and it's difficult to reach Marketing.

Unlock all layers
Object >> unlock all
Select >> Object >> Clipping Masks
Object >> Clipping Mask >> Release
If you find there are no clipping masks, you can also mask using the tranparency palette. UYou basiclaly have on lemtn whcih is your art, adn some art on top whcih serves as the mask, you slect both then use the make mask command form the transprency palette.
Do a CMD Y to better analiyze how this is constructed, as without a screenshot we can only make a best guess as to what is going on.

The on-line help contains a topic on how to copy a layer but trying the different methods in the help topic results in either nothing being copied or just the layer without its layer mask being copied. Thanks.

How are you copying? If you float your images, so they are both partially visible in the work area, make the one with the to be copied layer active. Then drag the layer from the layers palette onto the other image. Now you should have both the layer and the mask on the second image.

I'm afraid the LU suffix is a new one on me.
As long as you have all of the content in your library then that remove and sync warning shouldn't cause any loss of data, but it shouldn't be happening every time. It may pay to take the following steps to reset the connection between the two,
Backup device.
Restore as a new device.
Restore the backup made earlier.
Again, this assumes all content on the device is in your library. If that isn't the case see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device first.

I am curious to know how to delte photos that are duplicate and triplicate in photo library? before the update it was not like it so i am just curious to know how to delte the excess photos that are not needed but only 1 each of the triplicate and duplicated ones.

Two Windows scripts to make playlists of Duplicates and Exact Duplicates. Use shift-delete to remove selected tracks from the library as well as the playlist.

How to delete duplicate and triplicate Music Videos in itunes?

Hi, I have 3 music videos, two of which are in triplicate, and one that is duplicated. How can I delete them? When I have my music video playlist open, delete is not highlighted as a viable "tool" or command to choose (not in dark black/it is grey). In the list, have unchecked all but one of each so dup/ trips won't sync to my Ipod but I need every morsel of memory I can get on this PC. Any suggestions would be very appreciated.

How do you duplicate a form

i used to be able to duplicate a blank form, have my clients complete and then save under their names. Since this software updated I have not been able to do this. How do you duplicate and rename a file? Does anyone know?

You're probably using Acrobat if you can duplicate pages like that. This is the Adobe Reader forum...
To answer your question, though: The only way this can be done automatically, without having to manually rename each field, is to use a Template to spawn new pages. This is something the form's author should have done, but you can do it yourself as well, using some code.

I've just installed Mavericks on my iMac and now my calendar has duplicate and now sometimes tripled events by syncing with my ipad mini regardless of whether the item already existed in the iMac calendar already. How do I remove the duplicates? It was being able to sync calendars and contacts which was one of my reasons for moving from Snow Leopard to Mavericks and now it's a mess.

Crista70, What is happening is you now have 2 calendars with the entries in them. If you go into View, then Show Calendar List, you will see all your calendars. Uncheck the ones listed as "From My Mac" or uncheck the ones listed as "iCloud" and they will no longer show as duplicates. Personally, I prefer unchecking the "From My Mac" calendars so that my calendars are all synced across the devices.

All devices signed into the same iCloud account will finish up with the same contacts. Of course if prior to joining iCloud two family members each had an entry for Uncle Fred, then you will finish up with two contact cards for Uncle Fred, and so on. If you tidy this up on your computer then the changes will propagate to everyone else.

To merge libraries use iPhoto Library Manager - http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/ - or Aperature
To find duplicates within an iPhoto library use iPhoto Library Manager - http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/ -
Photos that are not in an iPhoto library can be imported telling iPhoto not to import duplicates (an imperfect procews) and then IPLM can find the duplicates
As to keeping seperate libraries - only you can do that - IPLM can move photos between libraries for you but only you can know which photos should be in which library

File -> New Smart Album
Description -> contains -> Duplicate
will find them.
Then the keystroke to delete depends on which version of iPhoto you have. All the keyboard shortcuts are under the Help menu.
