How do I edit a Bookmark name in Firefox?

using Windows XP.

Right-click on the bookmark, choose Properties. In the small Properties window, the first space is the "Name" (you can change that), the second space is the URL (change that and you will not be able to go to that page).
You need to check your Plugins and update as needed.

I have a similar issue with regards to the filename...
When I navigate to my website, it doesnt work unless I actually type the filename at the end of it. Example: type in "www.whitelion.com" (this is my real domain name) and it doesnt work. When I type in "www.whitelion.com/index.html" then it works.
This is obviously inconvenient because my clients will never know to add the filename to the end of the site.
Is there any setting or way to get the page to appear by just typing the original domain name without adding the extension?

The developer who updated that extension is from Japan, and that website won't be completely readable if you don't have the correct language package installed.

A pain to edit each bookmark names, please advice~~

I have copied a bookmark folder from Firefox to Safari 4. In Firefox, most bookmark names are automatically appeared quite meaningfully (seems it captured the headline from the website) once they are added and I didn't have to rename them. But those default bookmarks that are now copied to Safari had their names appeared as URL addresses. It is a pain to edit those bookmark names one by one in the folder since I have got lots of them in the folder!!! Is there a quick way to configure it so that it can pick up meaningful name automatically?

try to edit properties of page and save it, if you can save it, it may be in pages library, there are required properties, that do not added to page layout, if so, open page layout in spd and add required columns to page layout
also it may be that, in your page layout or master page, there are other webpart or controls that have required validations.

yes it seems there are a required column inside the parent content type, i change it to be optional and now i can save a new wiki page if all the required fields are entered.
but the problem now is that in case the user leave a mandatory field empty and he click on the save button , the error dialog will be display .and if the user clicks on the "Ok" button inside the error dialog,
he will be redirected to another page and all the data he entered will be lost. so the right behavior should be to stay on the same page when clicking on the "Ok" button. as currently the user
will have to re-enter the data again.
so i have to either prevent the dialog from being displayed , or to stop the redirect ? not sure if this is possible ...

Could you please explain more what you are trying to do and have done?
You can not purchase a domain name through Business Catalyst so you would have not obtained a domain you listed there. You have to by it from a domain registra.
If you have just entered a domain into the domain manager of your website but have not purchased the domain, this will not work. You have to obtain the domain first.
If you have got your domain, have you gone into the domain settings of BC and added the domain in? Have you gone to the domain registra and changed either the A-record or the NS records to point to your BC site?

How can I edit an html file in Firefox using View Source?

I have created an html webpage and saved it to my pc. I can't edit the html file in firefox when I right click on the page and select "View Source". I can view the code but I can't edit it. I can do this in IE9.
I thought I was able to do this before in Firefox.
Did my settings change somewhere that I can no longer do this?
Do I have to have something checked in the Web Developer extensions for it to work?

The View Source window in Firefox cannot be used to change computer codes. Nor can the Web Developer tools.

3.6.8: I'm not able to edit the bookmark name before saving it.

In any webpage on any tab:
Cmd-d or click star twice.
The Edit Bookmark dialog appears, with the Name field highlighted.
My cursor doesn't change when placed over the highlighted Name field.
If I click or double-click anyway, nothing changes.
If I press Delete, the field contents are erased and I can type something in.
The mouse still can't be used to move the cursor or highlight any characters in the field.
I don't think I had this problem before 3.6.8.

I cannot find from where the DN in a signature is sourced. My job title changed and even though I update that in Adobe's settings in my Profile, nothing changes in the DN.

You can't. Your DN is a part of your certificate, which is signed by the certificate's issuer. If you change any field in a certificate its signature becomes invalid and certificate unusable. If your job title changed and you want it to be reflected in the DN, you need to procure a new certificate.

Your CN and DN are parts of the certificate that you use for signing. Acrobat has no control over it. If you need them to be different, procure a different certificate with the CN and DN you want.
What is the purpose of your question? If you do not like what you see in the signature appearance, which is based on CN and DN, then you can create a custom signature appearance and put any text you want there as an image.
