Since you mention a free trial, I'm guessing that you have an Acrobat trial (Adobe doesn't offer free trials of the Acrobat.com online services).
If you do have Acrobat, you can use the Save As command in that application to save directly to Word format.

This is not a feature of Adobe Reader. You'll need either Acrobat or a subscription to one of the web-based services that Adobe offers (like PDF Pack) to do it.

How to handle hyphenation while saving pdf into word file by Acrobat XI

Hi All,
When I am saving my searchable pdf file into word document hyphenation at the end of line are appearing with a space in word file.
Any idea to handle such cases.

This has to do with the way the file was originally created. There's
nothing much that can be done about it, except for running a Search&Replace
command in Word to remove any hyphens followed by a line-break.

Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard Question - Converting PDF to word document

Question: I currently have Adobe Acrobat 8. I need to convert a PDF to word document. I know how to do that but the outcome of the word document sometimes varies as to retaining the exact formatting. How can I retain exact formatting? Is there something that I'm not doing that I need to be doing in order to retain the formatting. Also do newer versions (Adobe Acrobat 11 (Standard or Pro?)) do a better job of converting and retaining formatting?

Retaining the exact formatting is not possible in practice or in theory because Word documents are nothing like PDFs. For example, Word will cheerfully reflow text onto new lines or pages, while this will never happen with a PDF.
That said, Adobe keep trying to get closer to what people need. Sometimes this results in complex parts of the file being made into an uneditable graphic or text box.
Bottom line is you can get the basics into Word and then (according to your time, experience, and the abilities of Word) you might be able to reconstruct.
On no account convert official forms to Word.

Converting PDF to Word document help

I created a fillable PDF form for others in the office to fill out. When I get all the forms back I need to combine them all into one Word document. I am able to Save As a docx but when I import the form into Word I get the blank form, no data comes with it. If I import it as an Object then PDF it doesn't come in full size, so I stretch it to fit and it doesn't look very good. So.....how can I import the PDF into Word that includes the data with it?

To make the speed up,I tried to convert the Pdf document in hungle into word,and realized I can't choose Hungle for OCR.
I wonder why Hungle and Chinese are not seleced as languages for ExprtPdf ,for those countries are imortant for both aspects of economy and culture for Japan.

I have acrobat adobe 9 standard and I have converted my document from pdf to microsoft word where
I am suppose to be able to edit it as a word document. It shows up as an image and I am not able to edit it. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong

Can you convert a scanned document that comes out as a PDF into a Word document and if so, how do I do it? So far using Mac OS10.8 I get a blank document.

Open the PDF with Acrobat (Pro or Standard).
Perform OCR of the scanned image of textual content.
Save.
Use Acrobat's Save As (pre-Acrobat 9) or Export feature to output to Word.
