How do I edit a document I've Imported to My Workspace?

If you used Import you should be able to edit the resulting file in Buzzword. Just select the document in your organizer, open it up and start typing.
If you used Upload then you won't be able to edit the file in Workspaces.acrobat.com.

Yes I do have a smiley face and I've clicked on it and opened a window with lots of things in it, incuding Documents.
I've opened Documents and in it I can see the title I want to rename. When I click on it, it highlights, but I can't see where to go to change its name. If I double click it opens.

The only colour profile I can find under View - Proof Setup is FOGRA39, but I need FOGRA27!

Proof Colors doesn't change the file's color management, it just lets you see what the color values would look like if they are printed unchanged on different output devices. If you want to actually convert the color from one CMYK space to another, it's probably better to do that in Acrobat—Tools>Print Production>Convert Colors.
There's very little difference between Fogra27 and Fogra39—Fogra27 allows more total ink 350 vs. 330.

While you can access the OLE objects in C#.NET, the JSObject was designed as a bridge to VB.NET. Since the real power of what you can do with Acrobat automation comes from the JSObject, it would be very difficult to do that you want from C#.NET - or you would at least be limited in what you can do beyond basic functionality.
Also, a full version of Adobe Acrobat Standard or Professional would need to be installed on each client system. Reader will not work for what you want to do. Each end user running your application will require an installation of Acrobat.

I have uploaded a Word document to a shared workspace but cant figure out how to
edit the document. When I click on the document it opens in a seperate window but the document is not editable. Buzzword does not give me the option to open this document. If I open Buzzword and try to open the file from there it launches Acrobat.com again. I must be missing something. Any help appreciated.

Thank you for posting your question to the Acrobat.com forum. The answer is to IMPORT the document - not upload it. When you upload a .doc or .docx file, you can share or preview the file, but not edit it. When you import it, Acrobat.com will automatically convert it to Buzzword format for further editing and collaborative authoring (if you like). The "Import" command can be found in your organizer view or, within a Buzzword document, in the "Document" menu. I'm sorry for the confusion: Adobe PDF Pack allows you to create and combine PDF files, but not edit them. To do that, you need to use Acrobat. If you'd like, we can switch your PDF Pack subscription for an Acrobat Pro or Standard subscription.

I'm assuming that you are using the full version of Acrobat? What sort of edits are you trying to make? I think if you're unsure about making changes, it's a good idea to make a backup copy of the document before you dig in. That way, if the content is altered in a way that you didnt intend, you can revert to the saved backup. But, if there's a specific editing tool or technique that you need help on, please let me know and we can take it from there.

i have a new iPad for work. I have installed both the free word app and the Polaris office app. I am able to receive word attachments and view them, but it won't allow me to open them for editing in the apps. I hold on the attachment, but the option to open with the app is not there. It will also not allow me to choose to email newly created word documents from the iPad in Word or Polaris Office.

I have installed both the free word app
The original free word app didn't support editing. Microsoft recently announce the free app would support limited editing. You need office 365 to do full editing.
