How do I edit a PDF with PDF Pack?

how do i edit a pdf pack?

Hi glennkerris,
PDF Pack doesn't let you edit PDF files. If you purchased PDF Pack and decided you don't want it, please let me know and I'll cancel it for you and process a refund.
If you need to edit a PDF file, then Acrobat is what you want. You can try it for free for 30 days, if you'd like (no obligation). See www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.com for more information.

    Hi Caryn,
Actually Creative Cloud is not my speciality - but I would recommend posting your specific questions to that forum:

I'm sure our community members would have a better idea if it is right for your project!

How do I edit a document in PDF form. I have a resume I need to edit and I've tried everything.

    1. Export your PDF file to Word using Export PDF tool in PDF Pack service then edit the file in MS Office.
    2. Open in Acrobat XI Pro then you can do minor text editing using Tools > Content Editing > Edit Text & Images tool.  You can download Adobe Acrobat XI Pro trial version from www.adobe.com.

  • How can I edit multiple clips with different frame rates on the same timeline

how can I edit multiple clips with different frame rates on the same timeline

You do not want to edit material from different frame rates on one timeline. You CAN do this, but it is a very bad idea - and this is why.
Once you establish the sequence frame rate - lets say it is PAL material at 25fps, any material that you drop into the sequence other than 25 fps will have to be changed to play at 25 fps. If the material you add is NTSC (29.97), FCP will DROP 5 frames per sec to bring the frame rate down to 25 fps. Which 5 get thrown away? Every 6th one. This yields a funky cadence that becomes even more complex as as there are also interlaced fields (DV/NTSC is an interlaced format). Oh, and by the way, the image sizes are different as well. DV/PAL has 576 lines of resolution and DV/NTSC has 480. FCP has to scale up the NTSC to fit the PAL frame.
You do not want FCP adjusting these things on the fly. You want to do a thoughtful (and time consuming) conversion so that you end up with all your material in one format with the best possible image from the conversion process. Compressor can do an adequate job with Frame Controls turned on. The Natress Standards Conversion FCP plugin is another way to go. A third option is to find a post house that can do the conversion for you using a hardware based process.
The good news is, once everything is in the same format, editing it will be painless and the output process very quick.
Whatever frame rate/ image size you select, I'd suggest using ProRes for the codec. It is 4:2:2 color and will withstand color correction and composting with much more grace than any variant of DV based codecs.
    Have fun.

how i can integrate RUEI interface with AM pack for Siebel for end to end monitoring

You may want to check the Configuration > General > Advanced Settings > Clickout Settings in order to configure clickouts from RUEI to EM AMP for Siebel. Once setup you can use the Siebel Diagnostics cube to initiate clickouts with the Right mouse button.
Please check the latest documentation for your RUEI version on http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/documentation/realuserei-091455.html?ssSourceSiteId=otncn

  • How do I edit words on a pdf document?

I have revieved an email with a pdf attachment. This attachment is a scan of a letter. How do I edit words in the letter?

In its current state, those letters are merely an image - there is no text.
With Acrobat Professional - perhaps Standard, you would utilize Document > OCR Text Recognition
That option in AA X and XI are probably elsewhere.

  • How to save as AI file with PDF compatability at the same location?

    Hi Guys,
Requesting for script. Here are the details..
I  do have lot of AI files (from different paths) which are do not have PDF compatability switch  on. So now I am looking for script that all the files should save as at  the same place (over write) and should switch on the PDF compatability  switch on.
I tried with Action script, But the problem  is, action scripting is recording the path where I saved first time.  That means, all the files are save as into recorded path. This makes me  some what confusion, because source file will be 1 and save file with PDF  1. So in total 2 files will create which is not good.
So I am  requesting you that script schould overwirte at the same path and should  switch on the PDF compatability.
    FYI: Using Adobe CS4...
If you help for this, it is really greatful for me.
    Thanks in advance...

  • How do I correct a problem with PDF Portfolio Links

    Problem with links.
Converting a page from MSWord to PDF is presenting problems:
    I have changed preferences to deselect the Convert Word Bookmarks option;
    The straight conversion retains the links;
    Adding the file to PDF portfolio breaks the latest link;
    Using the link tool and go to page option tries to open the page (file) but I receive instruction to download Acrobat Reader 9 (I already have the latest reader installed (9.3), have checked it and repaired it);
Attempting to download the Reader (I cannot move on – the page is full screen and will not be minimised) the download is blocked at the end.
I have rebuilt the Portfolio from scratch but the problem persists.
I have run a full (extended) bench test on all my hardware – no significant problems found.
MSWord docx. saved in html and converted back to MSword
New doc converted to PDF with minimum preferences
    Converted doc copied to portfolio
    No change
    Portfolio opened in PDF reader
    No Change
Acrobat 9.3 uninstalled and replaced with original Acrobat 9
    No Change
PDF Printer driver checked – OK
    Full virus scan run
The Portfolio updating from MSWord is a procedure which I have repeated many times in the past without any problem.
I cannot move forward, all attempts to solve the problem have failed.

  • How Do I Edit My 'Open With' Contextual Menu?

When I right click on an image file and select Open With I get a long list of options. Many of them are .exe files and look like actions (Make GIF 64 colors.exe for example).
How can I edit this list? Some information I found mentioned editing the info.plist file in Photoshop, so I'm sure it's a PS issue.
    Thanks

[Photoshop CS4 Extended - Master Collection, MacBook Pro, OS X (10.6.1), Ikea Desk, Takamine Acoustic ]

Exactly - that's what I thought. Most of those seemed to have disappeared since I nervously uninstalled CS2 (I upgraded from 2 to 4), although I've heard that things can creep back as you use the apps again. I also renamed the plist file.
However it would be nice to be able to edit what appears there.  I'll give that link a shot - thanks for that.

  • How can i edit text on a pdf document on acrobat i professional

can anyone please help me, I've got acrobat 8 professional and i'm trying to edit text, can i do it and how can I do it?

You wrote: I have tried creating the background image as a pdf . . .
The whole thing is already a PDF.
What application are you using to try and make changes?
Are you now using InDesign to recreate the gift voucher?
Or are you opening the Photoshop PDF and trying to resize the live text layers?
There shouldn't be any issue with making 120 pt text. I just created a 250 pt text layer in PS as a test.
Have you enlarged the text box? If the text box isn't that big. making the text larger make cause it to overset and no longer be visible.
Grab the corner of the text box and drag it to enlarge it.
If things aren't working correctly, it would be faster to recreate the gift voucher in InDesign.
You mentioned having the background image, just add the text are you are ready to print.
After rereading your last post it is unclear who will be adding the text for the money amount.
Are you adding this yourself before printing, or are you hoping to give a PDF to the client where he can add/change the money amount?
Things like this need to be mentioned upfront.

  • Editing Hidden Text with PDF

We currently are in the process of scanning our historic documents and we had them scanned with OCR and now we are using a indexer that looks at the hidden text for indexing.  We will be using this for searching for documents.  However some of these documents are older.  Which means OCR did not work and great as expected.  I want to see if there is a way to edit that hidden text from the OCR to change minor things in order to ensure the ability to find the documents.  Any hints would be greatly appricated.
    Thank you,
    Jeff

    Jeff,
Historical documents - implies you'd not want to adversely effect the scanned image. If so, then OCR Searchable Image (Exact) (SIE) is desired.
As to editing the OCR output. Neither Searchable Image (Exact) nor Searchable Image lend themselves to this.
Yes, there are work around's; but... labor intensive and awkward from within Acrobat.
If you use SIE, consider exporting out the OCR of each PDF to a text file. Referencing the PDF or the source paper you can edit this text (migrated to a word processor perhaps). Output a second PDF. Use these for the catalog index. Link each second PDF to the first PDF.
Search gets you to PDF 2, the link gets you to the scanned PDF.
Alternatively, hold off for Acrobat X.
Today's Adobe Acrobat X: First Look eSeminar demonstrates how Acrobat X can export an OCR'd scanned image directly to Word with impressive retention of layout and format (without coming from a Tagged PDF). This process would permit getting cleaned up text back into PDF(s) to serve as the source of a Cataloged index.
The eSeminar will be presented again Thurs., Oct. 21.
