How do I edit authorized computers on my apple id account?

I just put a new logic board in my Macbook pro and when syncing my iphone I was notified that I have now 4 computers of the 5 allowed, authorized on my apple id account.  I have 2 macbook pros (mine and my wifes) and I have a mac pro tower.  I'd like to see what the 4th computer is.  How do I do that and then edit it?
thanks

There is no list available from your end. If you didn't deauthorize the MacBook Pro prior to replacing the logic board, it may be using up two authorizations; otherwise, you need to manually check each machine you think it might be.
If needed, click here and use the Deauthorize All function.

The author's name is carried in the 'itunes:author' tag. You will need to enter it in the appropriate field in whatever program or online service you are using to make your podcast.

  • Can i check/edit authorized computers??

Is there any way that i can check/edit authorized computers for my idevices??coz 1 idevices can only use up to 5 computers..i already know about de-authorizing computers, but that must be done by connecting the idevice to each computers..maybe there's a way to check/edit it via online websites??please advice..thanks a million

Seems kind of dumb not to be able to deathorize a computer remotely. I also have sold computers that I (apparently) did not deathorize, since I only currently have two, but show three authorized computers.
That aside, thanks for the information. It's a good explanation.
One small correction to what King Penguin said: you can deauthorize all if you have reached at least 3 computers on your authorization limit, not necessarily the full 5.

How to delete all authorized computers in iTunes?
I have problems to sync my iphone to my pc and add music and photos.

De-authorizing Computers (contributed by user John Galt)
You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
      1. Open iTunes on a computer
      2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
      3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
      4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
      5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us.
For more information on authorization and de-authorization: iTunes Store- About authorization and deauthorization.

you would need to setup a VPN and tunnel into your office.

How do I find what computers are tied to my account?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Tied in what way. If you are referring to authorised computers, there isn't a way to see a list. If you are referring to computers and devices associated with your account, you can see a list in your iTunes account settings on your computer.

  • How can I edit authorised computers and not deauthorise all 5?

I am trying to find out how I can deauthorise several computers without doing all 5 that are listed in my account?

You can only do that on the Computers themselves.
If you no longer have, or access to, the computer(s) you want to deauthorise,
You will need to Deauthorise all five,
Then re-authorize your current Computer(s) one at a time..

  • How to delet the credit card details from apple id account

how to delet the credit card details from apple id account

On your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link.  If you are doing it on your phone then tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account  - that should also give you a payments link on your account's page.
Changing payment info : Change or remove your payment information from your iTunes Store account (Apple ID)
If you don't get the 'none' option on the payment details screen : Why can’t I select None when I edit my Apple ID payment information?

  • HT201084 How do I create/manage my children's Apple ID accounts if I don't own a recent Mac or iOS device?

I need to create and manage Apple IDs for my family. They just received a couple of iOS devices (iPod, iPhone) as gifts.
However I do not have a Mac or iOS device that I can use to manage these accounts. I have tried to access the iCloud setup from my Windows installation, only to find it's just not there. Similarly, I was unable to find the option at the iCloud.com website.
Is there any option to do this apart from buying a recent iOS device?

    Thanks brenden dv,
the pages you mention are related to my question, but they do not solve my problem.
At  My AppleID page (https://appleid.apple.com/) I am able to sign in. But if I click on 'Manage your Apple ID' I am only allowed to do very basic editing of my account. I cannot create Apple ID accounts for my child from here. Nor create a family group.
Again, I do not own any iOS 8 device. I have an old iPad and don't use a Mac. In both my child's iPod and iPhone (iOS 8), the devices say that a parent (adult) should create an Apple ID for them. My question is still the same ... how do I do this from the web (e.g. after signing into My AppleID), from a PC running Windows (e.g. from the installed iCloud software), or from an older Apple device? (iphone 4, original iPad)?
I don't seem to find a way to create a family group, and manage both my AppleID (with credit card information) and my children's.
    Is there such a possibility?

  • How can we share ringtones on the same Apple ID/ account

Just trying to figure out how we can share ringtones that we've purchased on iTunes on our other devices. We have multiple devices on the same Apple ID/ account.

  • How do I transfer iTunes purchases to another apple ID (Account)

My daughter has been purchasing iTunes content using my Apple ID (account) for many years. I now have 5 macs for myself and she has a new laptop. This puts us over the 5 authorized computer limit. I have set up a new, separate apple ID (Account) for her to purchase new music. I would like to transfer the music that she has purchased under my account to her new account so I can de-authorize her computer from my account.
Is there a way to transfer the Apple ID (Ownership) of the iTunes content to another Apple ID (Account)

    Dave,
maybe my English isn't good enough, but I just scanned the iTunes legal agreement, and this is what I found:
(ii) You shall be authorized to use iTunes Products on five iTunes-authorized devices at any time, except for Content Rentals (see below).
(iii) You shall be able to store iTunes Products from up to five different Accounts at a time on compatible devices, provided that each iPhone may sync ringtone iTunes Products with only a single iTunes-authorized device at a time, and syncing an iPhone with a different iTunes-authorized device will cause ringtone iTunes Products stored on that iPhone to be erased.
(iv) You shall be authorized to burn an audio playlist up to seven times.
    (v) You shall not be entitled to burn video iTunes Products or ringtone iTunes Products.
(vi) iTunes Plus Products do not contain security technology that limits your usage of such products, and Usage Rules (ii) – (v) do not apply to iTunes Plus Products. You may copy, store, and burn iTunes Plus Products as reasonably necessary for personal, noncommercial use.
From my understanding this tells me that there are limitations to iTunes products, i. e. songs that you purchased, if they are not iTunes Plus songs. But as I said, I am not 100% certain, this Legalese stuff is really kinda hard to understand. But I still think that if you bought a DRM protected song on iTunes (meaning a non-Plus title), removing the protection is illegal!
And, sorry to say that, Dave, but in my opinion you are wrong by saying "when Apple dropped DRM from...". They did not do that. They introduced iTunes Plus, which is not DRM protected, but the old, non-Plus stuff, still is DRM protected, imo...

  • How do I transfer purchased apps from one Apple ID account to another?

I noticed I was purchasing apps on my iphone using a different Apple ID.  Both use the same email address.
Here is what I want to do:
    1. Which account is older?  I don't remember which Apple ID I registered when I purchased my iPhone.  How can I find this out?
    2. I only want to keep one Apple ID.  How do I get rid of the other one?
    3. Before I "delete" the Apple ID, how do I transfer the contents (apps, songs)?  Do I transfer this to the other account?  Should I transfer this to a computer?  Do I download them to iTunes, and if so, under which account would be downloading them to?   I have heard you can burn songs onto a disc.  Can I also do this for apps?
    Thanks again!

    1)  not sure.
2 ) You don't.  you can stop using it, but everything purchased with it, will still be tied to it, and your computers will need to be authorized to that account.
    3)  "Before I "delete" the Apple ID, how do I transfer the contents (apps, songs)"  Transfer them from where to where?
" Do I transfer this to the other account?"
    You cannot.
" Do I download them to iTunes, and if so, under which account would be downloading them to?"
Download them to itunes from where?  and you cannot download them to another account.  They will always be tied to the account from which they were purchased.
"  I have heard you can burn songs onto a disc.  Can I also do this for apps? "
You can back them up to a cd and transfer them between computers.
What are you trying to accomplish?
