How do i edit a file i just converted

Hi christiandavidwood,
Did you convert a file to or from PDF? If you want to edit a PDF file, you'll need to use Acrobat. If you converted a PDF to Word, and are unable to edit it, please try triple-clicking in the text block that you want to edit.
If you're still running into trouble, please let us know what type of file you're working with, and what problems you're experiencing.
Best,
Sara

    How can I edit the file name of the home page?
    Gr Ammani

    I have a similar issue with regards to the filename...
    When I navigate to my website, it doesnt work unless I actually type the filename at the end of it. Example: type in "www.whitelion.com" (this is my real domain name) and it doesnt work. When I type in "www.whitelion.com/index.html" then it works.
    This is obviously inconvenient because my clients will never know to add the filename to the end of the site.
    Is there any setting or way to get the page to appear by just typing the original domain name without adding the extension?
    Thanks,
    Emelia

  • How do I edit the file where sites which I have typed in on the command line are stored? These are sites which I no onger use.

    At times I type in a site name on the command line which I want to visit. This goes into a file which is accessed by highlighting the triangle on the right side of command line. This file contains previous sites which were accessed in the past. How do I edit this file and and remove previous site URLs?

    Use these steps to remove saved (form) data from a drop down list:
    #Click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop down list
    #Highlight an entry in the drop down list
    #Press the Delete key (on Mac: Shift+Delete) to remove it.

  • How do I edit the file created by code generator?

    hi all,
    I want to modify a java file that is generated when you create the webdynpro, but I can not change.
    // This file has been generated partially by the Web Dynpro Code Generator.
    // MODIFY CODE ONLY IN SECTIONS ENCLOSED BY @@begin AND @@end.
    // ALL OTHER CHANGES WILL BE LOST IF THE FILE IS REGENERATED.
    how can I disable the file to modify
    thanks!

    Hi Pablo.
    There's no way to modify it, NW2004s and its IDE has a code compilation based in some internal scripts based on eclipse plugin architecture.
    In your code you must consider this.
    1 - Try to find in your declared methods, importing directives, packages declarations  some like this:
    // This file has been generated partially by the Web Dynpro Code Generator.
    // MODIFY CODE ONLY IN SECTIONS ENCLOSED BY @@begin AND @@end.
    // ALL OTHER CHANGES WILL BE LOST IF THE FILE IS REGENERATED.
    package com.sap.teste;
    // IMPORTANT NOTE:
    // ALL IMPORT STATEMENTS MUST BE PLACED IN THE FOLLOWING SECTION ENCLOSED
    // BY @@begin imports AND @@end. FURTHERMORE, THIS SECTION MUST ALWAYS CONTAIN
    // AT LEAST ONE IMPORT STATEMENT (E.G. THAT FOR IPrivateTesteApp).
    // OTHERWISE, USING THE ECLIPSE FUNCTION "Organize Imports" FOLLOWED BY
    // A WEB DYNPRO CODE GENERATION (E.G. PROJECT BUILD) WILL RESULT IN THE LOSS
    // OF IMPORT STATEMENTS.
    //@@begin imports
    import com.sap.teste.wdp.IPrivateTesteApp;
    import com.sap.myimport.MyClass;
    //@@end
    //@@begin
    //@@end
    it means that between begin and end...you can add what you want..and the code will not be removed after class compilation....
      //@@begin javadoc:wdDoExit()
      /** Hook method called to clean up controller. */
      //@@end
      public void wdDoExit()
        //@@begin wdDoExit()
        //@@end
    int this case too....if you implement something between //@@begin and //@@end in the method scope...all part of your code will be surely safe.

    Hi,
    It seems like you don't have permission to edit this file.
    Could you check the file permission?
    Did the user have administrator permission?

  • How do I edit the file

    I scanned a document in Adobe then converted it to microsoft but it still will not let me type new

    Hi attorney mjsk,
    If you're not able to edit the text in Word, it could be because that scanned PDF was treated as an image in the conversion. By default, ExportPDF performs optical character recognition (OCR) on scanned images to convert image text to editable text. If you're converting from within Reader, however, OCR could have been disabled. When you convert, make sure that you see "Recognize Text in <language>"  in the ExportPDF pane. If not, click Change, and select this option.
    Please let us know how it goes.

  • Help! I can't find the file I just converted.

  • First simple report/app - how do I edit the sql in it?

    I finally have some time to play with my newly installed htmldb 2.0, and created a quick sample page with a tabular report and queried a table via dblink with some sql I entered in. When I run the app I get a sql error, but for the life of me I can't find out how to get at the sql to edit it.
    Where do I find (and how do I edit) the sql I just entered in?

    When you create this kind of region you can edit the SQL by go to the page definition and clicking on the name you've given to the region in the Regions section of the page rendering.
    This will bring you to the region definition page (you should see /f?p=4000:4651 in the URL of your browser). Then you can go to the region source and edit the SQL there.
    Hope that helps.

    What is the file format of the vector you downloaded?  Custom Shapes have a .PSP extension, and are placed according to this table.
    Preference filenames and locations in Photoshop CC
    They will then be loadable from the Custom Shapes drop down — click on the cog icon > Load shape > Find your downloaded vector.
    Once placed in the image, it will appear as a Shape layer, and can be edited with the Path, and Direct Selection tools (black and white arrows on the toolbar)

    Hello Kirk,
    Thank's for your efforts, and I just wish that this was the solution.  Unfortunately, it isn't because, after double-clicking on the pdf in the website, it simply "opens" in another Safari window as a black screen - the pdf is there, somewhere, but not visible (either as an icon, or as a document).
    When I right-click in the black Safari window, where the file is supposed to be, the only option available to display the file is to "Open file in Internet Explorer" (which is not what I want to do).  Other options include saving or printing the pdf, which I don't want until I've confirmed that it's the form that I want.  The same options are offered if I right-click on the file icon in the website.
    Any other suggestions, please?
