How do I eliminate an autofill in an e-mail address?

When I type in one of my e-mail addresses into the "To:" box in Mail, it autofills with "Holidays in the United States". This is my Gmail address and I at one time had Calendar linked to this Gmail account, so I'm guessing that's where it came from. But I no longer have Calendar linked to that account and I still can't get rid of that autofill feature. Any ideas?

You create an @icloud.com address in the first place by signing into Settings>iCloud with your Apple ID and choosing an addres - you can only create an @icloud.com address, not @me.com.
Then if you want further addresses on the same account you can add up to three 'email aliases' - these are additional addresses (not accounts) which deliver into the same inbox as the main account. (In fact it's a good idea to give out alias addresses, rather than the main address, because if they attract spam you can easily change them.) (New aliases can only be @icloud.com ones; @me.com addresses cannot now be created.)
You should be aware before you start that once you've created an alias you cannot turn that address into a full iCloud account or move it to another account.

Automatically? Really?? All addresses of all senders just sucked into the address book, spammers, advertisers and all?
Where an address appears in the panel above the message text, there is a star alongside it. Click this star to add the address to your Address Book. Once you have done that, you can click the star again to edit the address book entry.
Note that if the star is empty/grey (silver?) the contact is unknown. If the star is filled/yellow (gold?), the Contact is already in your address book. (This is very like the way bookmarks are managed in Firefox.)
If you really want all senders' addresses entered indiscriminately into your address book, this add-on may be of interest.

How can I display selected tags across multiple e-mail addresses?

I receive email on a specific topic but via several e-mail addresses. How can I view selected tags where the resulting e-mails span several (7) email addresses. They are all active on my Thunderbird, but as far as I know, I can only display the selected tag on one of them at a time.
Any assistance greatly appreciated as this is a very big problem for me.

This solution does not appear to work across multiple e-mail addresses.
Perhaps I should have said "work across multiple e-mail address at the same time. I get e-mail on specific topics via several email addresses and wish to view all the tagged emails regardless of which email account in which they reside.
I could not get this solution to select more than one email account at a time.

How can I clear the stored auto-complete e-mail addresses in Thunderbird, without clearing everything?

In the auto-complete of e-mail addresses, old invalid addresses keep appearing in this list that are not in any address book (any more).
How can I delete one from the list, or perhaps all?

The only place that Thunderbird gets suggested addresses is from your address books. I have seen some not show up in the books because some key info was never stored when the contact was saved.
Sometimes you can start a new message and when the bad contact shows up select it. Create the message and save it to drafts. Then you can go to the Draft folder open the draft message by right clicking and select Open Message in Tab. Then click the star to the right of the contact and it will open the contact edit button. From there you can delete the contact.
This does not always work though.

This is sort of generic "fix all" for when you receive that message in IMAP email accounts on the iPad.
Check the primary outgoing mail server username and password and make sure that they are in the settings even if it says that they are optional.
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > select the account > account name , tap on SMTP (under the 'Outgoing Mail Server' heading) and then tap on your Primary Server and try entering your email account and password and see if it works.
If it doesn't work, try deleting the account, restart the iPad and start all over again.

In Yahoo email, how do I get the autofill to work in the address line?

Hi,
Printer email address is for ePrint, if you don't want to use ePrint you can go to your HP Connected account and only allow you to send to its address then no one can send anything to it. You may need it one day.

You can delete any single entry, or you can customise what you clear including all the History or just '''forget'''ting about one site.
Possibly you need the forget option. That removes all the info about a particular site but does not stop you saving info in the future. Another useful option sometimes is Private Browsing: that stops information being stored in the first place.

How do you get iMessages sent to your e-mail address only and not your phone number?

I want to send messages using my texts as well as iMessages to my girlfriend, she has a iPhone 3GS (I have iPhone 4) but i can't receive her texts when my internet is off, and only get her iMessages when I have turned my internet on. Is there something both of us have done or one of us?

Sorry about the confusion. What I actually meant was:
In Firefox you could use a method supported by the particular site like drag-and-drop from the desktop/folder into the webpage, use a button on the page to open/browse/upload an image/file etc.
But this error (send error) "1file can't be sent" seems to be related to the email site's service. The email site's support/forum could be helpful. You could also try to inform them about the error if they provide a contact channel.
You could also check the email site's help pages for information related to attachment size limits, and image type restrictions.

Additionally, as I suspected/expected, but just to verify, I sent a second message from work to home after I bounced the first, no problem -- it just goes and gets delivered like nothing ever happened.
