How do I eliminate the text boxes?

I have made ibooks before however this time I get the text boxes in pretty much every page. I delete the page start again to make a full page picture on a blank page and the text boxes appear again. I cannot figure out how to eliminate the text area. Also I cannot change the position of the pictures when the text boxes are displayed.

There is a menu to let you select the layout you want, textbox or no text box.
In iPhoto 11 it's the icon at the top of the page in the single page view:

How can I make the »Text Box« blend with the background?

I have a problem that my document is almost finished, but still I cannot solve one basic problem. My “Text box” fields are still selectable (I get the blue select/resize buttons around the text) when I click on them when reviewing my document in the reader. In this “Text box” fields there is text that is not meant to be changed by the end user. It should just be shown (blend with the background) and not selectable. This resize buttons around the text box don’t work and don’t allow the end user to change the size but their presence alone drives me crazy.
Should I use the “Stamp” tool in this case or is there a setting (with the text box tool) that I’m missing?

It seems that I found the solution. Is the only way to avoid the before mentioned edit box that I use the TouchUp Text tool to add text?

How can I view the text box history

I don't know what it is called specifically, but I need a plugin or something that allows me to clear and view the history of what was typed into text boxes. You know how if you start typing into a text box, firefox will come up with suggestions from previous entries? That's what I mean.

Vbox, acts much like a linear layout like in other languages.
Just keep your declared textbox at the bottom of your content (content :[] ), then the text box will continue to get pushed further down your view, as you add other controls to your content.
layoutX and layoutY will just increase your spacing from the previous declared control in that content.

Perhaps you are loading a template that has a text block already on it.
You might try the blank template option and set that as your go to template in your preferences

I use the Tools > Annotate > Add Text feature, and when I click away after adding text, it automatically changes the text box size such that the last letter -- or last word -- gets bumped off into an invisible line below it, forcing me to manually adjust every single text box. It is highly annoying when trying to complete PDF forms (e.g. job applications).
It appears to be a glitch, quite honestly, an error resulting from Apple's product design. Has it been fixed in the new operating system (for which they want $30)?

How to Change the Text Box to LOV where the Text Box displayed dynamically

Hi All,
I have to Change the Text Box to LOV. But the Text Box is not the static one.
In the Expense Screen, when i select the particular expense type, additonal infomation is getting displayed.
There is a one additional field called 'Portfolio Code' . This is a text Box. I need to change this as LOV.
Even i am not sure how this is getting displyed. This column is mapped to attriubte14 of AP_EXPENSE_LINES_ALL table.
