How do i email a file (not picture) from dropbox on my nice new iphone 6?

Hi, i need to use my iphone for business emails - having just moved from android i'm not too familiar with ios8 but i cant find any way to attach files from various folders in dropbox or anywhere else for that matter other than predefined apple image locations. I need to to be able to navigate across dropbox or my device for business documents that are uploaded and stored in organised folders like "customers", "receipts", "payments" etc...

From within the Dropbox app, you can select a file, tap the sharing icon (looks like a square with an arrow coming out of it) in the upper right corner. If you select Mail, you can then email a link to that file.

Copy the iTunes library from your backup as below:

Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive. Start iTunes with the option (shift on Windows) key held down and guide it to the new location of the library.
Sync with the restored library.

HTML files not playing from Dropbox

I used to be able to upload all parts of the file (cptx, html, swf, js) to Dropbox and link to the HTML file and it would play in a new tab on IE. Now anytime I link to the html file it opens a new tab but doesn't load/play.
The swf file plays but the htm file doesn't. I'm using Captivate 5 (all updates done) and IE, Flash, Java are all up to date.
My client used to just click the Dropbox link to play the htm file and now it doesn't work. Even my old html files don't play or open.
Any suggestions?

That's what I thought too, but all files are there. I used to have numerous files (6-8) in a dropbox folder with all parts: cptx, htm, swf, js and the html would play fine by just clicking on the link. Once it started not working I made individual folders with each part of the file and included them into each seperate folder. Still not loading/opening. This is happening to everyone I send the link to. I've tried opening it in different browsers too.

You can sync content like music using iTunes as the vehicle in order to transfer content from one device to another. This support artcile might be helpful. You can sync and transfer purchases from the iPad and then sync the phone by setting up the sync preferences in iTunes for the phone.

You can also download the music to the phone from the purchased tab in iTunes - on the phone, but it goes much quicker of you sync the content from iTunes.
If you want to sync notes, calendar entries using iCloud, and assuming that you have iCloud enabled on both devices, make sure that you turned these items on in the settings in Settings>iCloud>Calendars>On and the same for notes. You have to have an iCloud email account in order to sync this content unless you are syncing via your email account and that would have to be set up as well in Settings>Mail, contacts and calendars.

How to restore backed up files (not lightroom catalogue) from one external drive to another.
I recently backuped my photo files from one external drive to another. The backup (carbon copy cloner) pointed to some corrupt files on the original drive.
I have deleted those files and am finding good copies of them in Time Machine backups.
I want to get rid of the original external drive; use the recent backup as my main external and then back it up onto a brand new drive.
What I am not sure about is how to point lightroom to the backups so it knows to look on the new drive instead of the old drive and all those exclamation marks and question marks go away.
There are close to 60,000 images in numerous folders all with one 'parent folder.'
My best guess is from Lightroom Help - Create and Manage Folders - Locate Missing Folders
Can I point to the one parent folder and all the subfolders will come back?
Is this the process to recover files into lightroom and will there be a problem with so many photos?

When connecting ipad to itunes, in the Summary tab (in itunes for your device), look in the Backups section and choose to back up to itunes.

Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
Release the Buttons...

To copy photos to your computer that were taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites then see this page - on a PC you can use the windows camera wizard
To copy photos that were originally synced from a computer you will need a third-party app on your iPad such as Simple Transfer which can copy them off via your wifi network. But as photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to the iPad, any that you then copy back to a computer may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer.
