How do I email an attached pdf file to stationary templates in mail.

How do I email an attach PDF file using the stationary templates in mail on lion.
I attached the PDF but when try to send it I get back a dialog box that sez:
"This message cannot be sent because it uses stationery and contains attachments that are not images. Messages with stationery cannot contain attachments that aren’t images. You can cancel and return to editing the message or remove the stationery in order to send." My choice is to cancel or remove stationary.
Is there a third party solution? Any suggestion?

But generally it is never a good idea to send e-documents as email attachments.  Better use a file sharing service (Acrobat.com, Dropbox, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, ..), upload the document, then send the shared download link via email.

  • How can I retain the attached .pdf files (displayed as icons) from my word file 2010 to a pdf file?

    Hi everybody,
I have looked for an answer in this forum ... without any good result.
I worked on a Word 2010 file with some attached pdf files. These attached files are displayed as icons on the word file. If you double click on them, you can consult them. This works very good.
Problem: I would like to convert this word 2010 file into a pdf file, which keeps the icons (linked to attached files) active. If I "pdf" this with my current system, icons are displayed as pictures: I cannot open the attached files.
My question is very simple: is it possible to retain these active icons (= to open attached documents) in a pdf file? Which adobe package should I use?
    Many thanks for your help
    cheers
    elgreengo

No, it's not possible, but I agree it would be a very nice feature.

  • How do I save an Attachment (PDF file) from an email on my 3G iPhone??

How do I sae an email attachment to my 3G iPhone (in this case I want to save a PDF file sent to me as an attachment).
    Thks

You can save the email to a folder. The PDF in reality is saved to the phone in the mail directories folder, and can always be opened and read from your mail app. If you want to save it to your computer, then you can either email it to yourself or download a file sharing app from the appstore.

  • How do I email (or share) pdf files I have stored on my Galaxy Note II?

I have been using Galaxy Note 2 and used to be able to send pdf files using Adobe Reader to myself and to others. I believe there used to be a "share option" at the top which allowed me to do this. After updating Adobe Reader, this option disappeared.  The only thing remotely close to the share option is "export PDF" (a for fee service that converts to Word or other file formats) but this is not what I want or need. Can someone help me email PDF files stored on my Galaxy Note ii?

Android phones (including your Galaxy Note 2) has the Menu key at the bottom.
Open a PDFdocument in Adobe Reader for Android.
Tap your phone's Menu key at the bottom.  Reader will display a menu.
    Tap Share.
Select an app to use for sending email.

  • Can't Open attached PDF file saved from my Outlook mail.

    I have this problem:
I'm using Acrobat Reader 9.1 and I've never had this probblem .Cane you halp me?

If you are not able to get Adobe Acrobat Reader to open .pdf files in the browser. Even after you check in prefs to show pdf files in the browser.
Make this modification for all versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader that show under this key.
-Note: Deleting the key and all subkeys for any older versions also seems to fix this problem. So if you see this key present,
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\7.0\Originals
delete the 7.0 and all subkeys.
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\9.0\Originals
-Right click on Originals and choose NEW DWORD Value and name it bBrowserIntegration, hit enter,
double click on the new value and make sure the value is 1

  • Convert an attached pdf file

how do i convert an attached pdf file in an email?

    Good day,
You'll need to save the PDF file to your hard drive first.  Then you can submit it to the ExportPDF service.  To use the ExportPDF service, simply visit http://exportpdf.acrobat.com and click 'Sign in' at the top right corner.  Enter your Adobe ID (email address) credentials to log into the service.  As ExportPDF is web-based, you simply utilize the tool through your web browser.  After you're logged in, you should see the ExportPDF interface, with a button saying 'Select PDF file..' to get the process started.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
    Kind regards,
    David

How can I embed a form on my website and set up a submit button so that when people fill out and click Submit, the filled form will be emailed to me as an attached pdf file?

    Hi;
That is not a workflow that is supported by the Adobe forms solutions at this time.
    Thanks,

  • Email from toolbar - how to submit as an attachment (pdf) rather than xml

I am using LiveCycle Designer version 8.05.
When I open my form in Acrobat (8) or Reader (8/9), the e-mail button on the toolbar defaults to sending an xml file.  I would prefer it to be an attached pdf file, since most of the recipients won't understand how to import data into a form.  The form is meant to be printed and signed to be submitted.
Is there any way to make the toolbar button default to attaching a pdf?  I've read the threads about buttons on the forms, but haven't seen one addressing the toolbar.
    Thanks-
    deb.

orry about that..  I'm totally wrong, and this works as it should.
When I do use the "email" button, it gives me an error when the form is  blank.  I (wrongly) assumed that it was trying to attach a blank xml file.
It won't attach a blank or partially filled pdf file, but I think this  is ok.  I'd prefer they fill it completely before e-mailing it, anyway.

  • IPAD3/IPAD2 :PDF files/ attachments  sent in an email  displayed inline ( embedded within the main email) in the message text on both my Ipad2 and Ipad three, however the same email displayed the PDF File icons/ attachment on both my Iphone and a friend's

IPAD3/IPAD2 :PDF files/ attachments  sent in an email  displayed inline ( embedded within the main email) in the message text on both my Ipad2 and Ipad three, however the same email displayed the PDF File icons/ attachment on both my Iphone and a friend’s PC. How do i get both my IPAD devices to display the PDF icons/attachments? Bearing in mind if i open the same email over the internet the PDF Icons/attachments display OK!
Has anyone come across this? Your advice/help would be most appreciated

This happens to me all the time.
If is a one page PDF it seems as though it comes over already open and inline in the body of the email. Multiple page PDF files show as the PDF icon.
I can't find any official documentation of this - other than based on my own experience with PDF attachments in my various email accounts.

  • How can i reply to an email and attach a file to it?

How can i reply to an email and attach a file to it?

    http://www.apple.com/feedback/
Tell Apple. We're just fellow users here and can't control a thing. The sandboxed nature of the iPad, which also means a lack of an overall file manager is what keeps viruses from spreading and improves the stability of the system as a whole. And it's that lack of a file manager system that means you can't just attach something to an e-mail.
What I'd do, reply to the person, i'm sending the attachment next, do that and you're done. 2 e-mails sure but you've accomplished what you need to do.

  • Can no longer attach pdf files into email.

I recently purchased a new computer with Windows 8.1 as the OS.  Seems that I am no longer able to attach PDF files into any email.  Any clues as to what has gone wrong?

Thanks for the help.  Seems I had a failed Windows update several weeks past I had forgottent about.  Had to do a restore to the prior date to get back to the right configuration.  Did an online session with Mircosoft, reinitiated the update, and it seems as if the issue is resolved.  We were able to re-test attaching and send pdf files. Seems there is still some slight issue with IE, but you appear to be on the right track about focusing on Web Outlook if the problem continues to surface.  Thanks again.

  • When trying to upload a PDF to an interactive site I get the announcement:"The attached PDF file references a non-embedded font Tahoma. Please remove file, embed the font and reattach." How do I embed this, or in fact any other font ?

When trying to upload a PDF to an interactive site I get the announcement: "The attached PDF file references a non-embedded font Tahoma. Please remove file, embed the font and reattach."
I could not get rid of the Tahoma font in the WORD file.
How do I embed this, or in fact any other font ?

    Thank you very much !
Indeed, I was unaware of the enormous number of options that can be selected when converting a WORD file to PDF.
I went thru the settings and found the right one for embedding the fonts.
    Thanks again !

    You aren't doing anything wrong.
If the PDF is short enough, your iPad Mail app will display the text as part of the mail.
Actually it is still an attachment.
Tap and HOLD on the text and you should see options to "Open In..." that will allow you to open the PDF in most PDF readers such as iBooks, GoodReader, etc.
