hi,
use a splitting mechanism to convert large files into smaller files and process them as if they where independent.
You can use the "Recordsets Per Message" parameter in the File Adapter sender comm channel by using File Content Conversion, to create a new message for each 1000,10000,etc records in the source file...this could be a way of splitting.
If you scenario works ok for small files, maybe you can develop another scenario that runs previous the current one, that only splits files (e.g. File-XI-File) and then puts the output smaller files in the directory that your current scenario monitors.

How to get email attachment file name?

I have a macro that executes when the user sends an email. In this macro, I want to get the subject of the email itself and the titles of all of its attachments (be they documents or other attached emails).
To get the email subject, I use Groupwise.ComposingItem.subject
To get the attachment filename, I use Groupwise.ItemAttachmentGetDisplayName("X00", <attachment_index>)
However, this call only seems to work for document attachments. For other emails attached to the current email, this call returns "Mail Attachment" instead of the name of the attached email. How can I get the name (i.e. subject) of the attached email?

The problem is that i need to retrieve list (range) of documents and than save them.
as it written now , i can do it just about one file.

You're not going to just be able to drag a folder over. The iPad has no file manager like computers, so every file has to be associated with an app.
Did you ever sync your iPad with your computer? If so, use iTunes to move the files. However those files will be moved in bits and pieces. For example the music will be moved via the music app. The photos via the photos app. You'll need a powerpoint app to open your power point.

From within the Dropbox app, you can select a file, tap the sharing icon (looks like a square with an arrow coming out of it) in the upper right corner. If you select Mail, you can then email a link to that file.

I have a long (200 minutes) DV clip which uses up most [40 GB] of my external hard drive. The last 90 minutes of the clip is blank, and I need to delete the corresponding [18 GB] filespace to free-up space on my hard drive for editing.
How do I delete a portion of the file without having the 22 GB of free space Quicktime seems to need to temporarily store the new (smaller file).

I modified the program as follow:

And now it is working. I can zip a file with 125MB size.

I am developing a website which will host some documents. Size of the docuemnts are between 1MB to 10MB ans they are PDF documents. I open the document in a new page based on some inout parameters.
I am using the following code. But it takes long time to get displayed. Is there any other way of reading and displaying the file faster? Is it possible to use buffer reader here and make it faster? Please help.

To save disk space on a volume, you could enable NTFS compression on the folder.
To backup a folder, you can use the windows built-in functionality. You could also copy the files to another location using a tool that only copies changes (like teh builtin robocopy or Microsft developed synctoy,...).
