How do I embed a facebook status update into a website/blog?

Ok, so my latest project has been putting together a blog. I've figured out a couple of ways of adding twitter to the page so that it automatically updates to the latest tweet, but what about facebook? I see facebook has a page for adding a profile badge, but that didn't work, and I don't think that's exactly what I'm looking for. Anyone here know how to do this with Dreamweaver? I think some of the blogging sites provide this kind of thing, but I'm designing my own with Dreamweaver (CS3).

I dont think Facebook lets you do that, do they?

the other issues, like caps coming on and off or slower speeds I can live with but not being able to upload images is a major problem. If not fixed it would render my iPad virtually useless to me.

I am using the widget that came with the phone. Trying to do a facebook status update. When I try to post I get the following error.

Data services are unavailable.

Any ideas or solutions other than a factory reset. I have a data plan and am able to browse. Let me know.

Do you have a 3g connection? If not, if you will need to change a setting or use WiFi to use the data services.
To change the setting to use the regular (SLOW) network, go to settings->data manager->Data Delivery, and press on Data Roaming. That will allow data services while not on Verizon's 3g service.

How can I embed a self hosted video into Adobe Muse? I successfully use a Wordpress plugin to post self hosted videos to a Wordpress blog, however I would like to link the same video to a web site built in Muse. I understand that Muse looks for an embed code, however on self hosted video does anyone have any experiences on how that embed code can be obtained?

There's quite a lot of discussion on this forum about embedding videos.
So you can use HTML5 video tag to embed self hosted videos that you can insert in Muse through Object -> Insert HTML option. Refer to the following article - http://www.w3schools.com/html/html5_video.asp.

Facebook status updates and uploading photos on no...

Hi.I dont seem to be able to update my facebook status or upload photos on the above handset.However I can update my facebook status on my nokia 2330 without any problems.I was able to update my status on my nokia 5530 until last week when it decided to stop doing that.I have come to a dead end now and wondered if anyone had experienced this or has a solution.

I can provide some info about your Facebook question. You can update your status via text message (actually text Facebook). Unless you updated your Facebook status by sending a text message, you are not charged for text messages. I assume you are using your web browser to browse through Facebook which does not incur any text messaging charges.
If you'd like to see your text messaging details, you can go to www.verizonwireless.comand sign in as the account holder. Click on view usage> view usage details to see the numbers texted to and from.

Facebook status update question

Hi,
I am just wondering if anyone is having trouble with the Facebook for iPhone app. When I update my status via the app, my status is shown on my profile page, but not on the news feed. This is rather inconvenient, because most people don't visit individual profiles on a regular basis and instead use the news feed to know what's going on with their friends. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and I've also tried resetting my iPhone, all to no avail. If anyone else is having trouble or has any suggestions, please let me know. Thanks!

I was actually able to get the Facebook app to work properly again after going to application settings on Facebook's website, unchecking some boxes, saving the changes, then rechecking the boxes and saving those changes. The boxes I unchecked and rechecked had to do with the Facebook for iPhone app having permission to post stories to my wall and my friends' news feeds.

Social Network Widget not showing Facebook Status Updates

Hello. I have a Droid Bionic and am having issues with my Social Networking widgets. I have two on my main screen. One for twitter, and one for facebook. The one with Twitter works fine, the other one with Facebook does not. It does not show me uploaded pictures, and updated statuses like it used too. Now it only shows stupid Farmville updates along with links that my friends post. Any ideas as to why this is? I think I have tried everything possible now.

Is the application not working or only the widget? Anyway you can download Nokia social v1.3 from Nokia beta labs, you need to login using your Ovi account to download.

Can I do it on my Nokia E72? is it really that difficultfor you guys to develop? I have tried but I cant...there is a check in icon on FB but when I click on it it doesnt show any location. I think you have not been able to sync the FB check in button with your gps in the phone. Hope you would have worked out something by now...or sadly I will have to chuck my e72 for a BB or iphone. Thats really sad coz i have been using a nokia phones only since 2001.

Sorry if you mean something else, but just open the Nokia Maps and select 'Check In'.. It will ask whether to 'Go Online to use service?' Select 'Yes'.. You may need to sign in using the Nokia Account. Now it should show you the places nearby..Select the appropriate. In the next step, tap in the square box with 3 dots and then select 'Facebook' and then 'Done'. Now a square with the facebook logo displays at the bottom.. Tap on 'Check In'.. and you are done..

How can I download an ipod touch update from apple website?

I am having trouble updating my ipod because when it was updating my cable fell out now i cant get on to my ipod everytime i plugg in my ipod it comes up with "new hardware found" then it continues (recovery mode) however it comes up with
"no device found" and tells me to insert a disc but i dont have one or other options which also dont work and on one of the bit of advise it says download device software from manufacture but i can't find how you download it.

Here's how to reinstall iTunes:

Depending on your iPod model and iOS you can also update "Over the Air" by going into Settings/General/Software update. You'll need a Wi-Fi connection to do this and your iPod has to be connected to the adapter.

How do I assign a Facebook Share thumbnail for my website?

I am trying to share my website that was designed with MUSE on social media, especially Facebook and when I do it automatically chooses some random images from the website as the thumbnail. I want to configure it in a way where it specifically chooses esither the logo of the company or an image from the piture slider on the home page when shared on facebook. The website is www.ayayay.com
When shared on facebook it chooses the image gallery dropshadow as the thumbnail (!????)
Any help would be appreciated.

I have WOWslider jquery image slideshow software which produces an HTLM file for its slider. Taking the code that it produces is it possible to put that into an arbitrary HTML box and edit it to work.
I see some references to it in other software as needing some work to get it to run in much the same way as would appear to be the case here.
The pitch around the software makes it appear a case of simply copy and paste. I see above where you say future versions will make it easier to use JS with Muse, but for the moment is there a workaround or hints how to go about it?
