How do I enable EL evaluation in Weblogic 9.2?

We faced a problem while migrating from Tomcat to Weblogic 9.2. EL worked fine in Tomcat, but in Weblogic they are not recognized and evaluated, i.e. expression ${expr} appeares verbatim in html recieved by client.
We've explicitly enable EL evaluation by using page directive:
<%@ page isELIgnored ="false" %>
Do you have any ideas how to enable EL evaluation?

As I see Weblogic 9.2 doesn't implement correctly the following requirement from JSP 2.0 specification (JSP.1.10.1):
 
 
A translation unit (JSP source file and any files included via the include
directive) can contain more than one instance of the page directive, all the
attributes will apply to the complete translation unit (i.e. page directives are
position independent).
 
 
In my case <pre>page</pre> directive which enables EL evaluation is in the file which is included via <pre>include</pre> directive.

I did not make any console adjustments for debugging on my WebLogic 10.3.2.0 - however I am running in development mode on an "adminServer" (an option during the install)
In the console there is a debug setup page - that seems to have no effect for me (I can always debug) - so either it is a combination of development mode and/or the startWeblogic script from the Eclipse plugin.
However, these debug settings are likely for debugging into the server - you only want to debug your own app code right?
On the console page goto

To enable JSR 168 portlet capability on Weblogic:
1. Open one of the files listed below in a text editor:
Windows: <drive>:\bea\weblogic81\common\bin\commEnv.cmd
Unix: /apps/bea/weblgic81/common/bin/commEnv.sh
2. Modify the file so that file qname.jar appears ahead of the weblogic.jar file in the system classpath. For example:
CLASSPATH=%WL_HOME%\newscale_drivers\
qname.jar;%WEBLOGIC_CLASSPATH%;%POINTBASE_CLASSPATH%;%JAVA_HOME%\jre\lib\rt.jar;%WL_HOME%\server\lib\webservices.jar ;%CLASSPATH%
3. Copy the qname.jar file from <newscale_installed_dir> folder to ${WL_HOME}/newscale_drivers folder.

kann man "Remote Management" auf "enable" setzen
und weiter unten auch den Punkt "Port" auswählen (Standardmässig HTTPS 443)
Wofür steht diese "Remote Management" Einstellung, wenn nur HTTPS funktioniert?

Can someone tell me how to delete the deployed composite in weblogic server 11g ?I'm facing an issue where the weblogic server is getting started and immediately after sometime the server changes to "Force shutdown"..When i checked the logs,there is an error in one of the composite i deployed..So now i wanted to delete the deployed composite?Please help ....

1. Deleting a domain will not hold any references. But make sure that under your user_projects/applications also remove the folder that matches with your domain. Basically under user_projects folder you will see 2 folders named applications and domains. When you create a domain say mySoaDomain, it will crate a folder with the same name under applications folder also with few files like em.ear. If you do this, then you can crate a new soa domain and use the same old name.
2. NOW comes the most important thing. If you create a new SOADomain, at one point, you had to give details for soainfra and mds schemas. If you give your current existing db details (that was used for your old deleted domain), then you may still have the issues. Because the soainfra db may still have the instances for your old process.
3. If you really want to have a full clean soa domain, here is what you do:
a) Run rcu and drop the existing schemas for soainfra and mds.
b) Run rcu again and create above schemas again.
c) Now create SOADomain using config wizard and refer above clean rcu db and you are all set.
3. Under your domain root folder, just searh for files named with your workflow and you should see the .jar location.

Also put root in the dba group.
The permissions turn out like this:

I stopped the listener, bounced the database, and started the listener again.
But it still shows the process being owned by oracle:

I have tried opening Firefox in safe-mode to disable add-ons but they are already disabled, so I want to know how to enable an add-on and then to permanently disable it so Firefox will open normally again. . .

In a prior version of Firefox I found a website somewhere that told me what to do to enable spell checking for text boxes that are just one line.
