How do I enable my ipad that has been disabled?
Hi...my friend tried too many incorrect passcodes on my ipad and now it is disabled. I have seen some answers here that say to sync it back to to the laptop but I have never previously sync'd my ipad to my laptop before so that didn't work because the 2 devices have never been connected. Any other suggestions on how to fix please? I had never actually set up a passcode but my friend who has never used an iphone or ipad before has somehow set the passcode whilst she was thinking that she was trying codes to unlock it...and has no idea what she set it to!

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

As far as I can tell, Error Code 36 is an "I/O Error". It may mean you have a bad USB cable between the iPad and your computer, or the cable was not plugged in firmly.

You will need a document storage, player, or manager to save the file (DropBox, File Manager, Box, VLC, MoliPlayer for example).
To actually save the file, with it open in iMessage, tap the file icon (lower left) and select the app to save it in.
