How do I enable the big green battery and the plug icon? (R61 - Win7 64)

I know that this subject is pretty old, but maybe somebody will answer.
I have a reverse problem from:

I do not have this green battery and the plugin icon, instead I have gray battery like this:
Strange thing is that it is resistant to any changes in Power Manager Advanced Options - whatever I check: hide, show, small icon, big icon - it stays as it is.
I use Win7 64bit.
Any ideas?

Yes, that previous page button is wonderful, isn't it LOL. It has gotten me many times. Some text editors are merciful and will preserve your work if you immediately hit the back button. The Lenovo Forum editor does not but it does autosave your draft ever so often
Concerning Power Manager: First, let's make sure of the obvious. Have you tried removing and re-installing your battery and making sure it is making good contact?
Assuming your battery is not the problem,
go ahead and uninstall "Hotkeys."
Hotkeys version 3.81.0100 currently includes 5 separate components which you will see in your list of programs:
- On Screen Display
- Thinkpad Full Screen Magnifier
- Lenovo System Interface Driver
- Lenovo Auto Scroll Utility
- Lenovo Patch Utility
Use Control Panel and make sure to un-install all of these. (You may never have installed Hotkeys. If so, skip this step Or, if you have installed a previous version which does not include all of these components, just un-install any of these you find).
Next, use Control Panel to un-install "Power Manager," and "Lenovo Power Management Driver." Yes, "Power Manager" is different from "Lenovo Power Management Driver." (It sounds like like you may never have installed "Lenovo Power Management Driver" so just skip that one if you don't see it in your list of programs.)
Tip: Older versions of "Power Manager" may be called "Thinkpad Power Manager" or "Lenovo Power Manager." We're now up to version 6.36.
Reboot as prompted during the un-installation process.
Now, go to the Lenovo Drivers and Software page here and enter your type/model number.
Install the following software in this order:
(1) First, install "Lenovo Power Management Driver" from the Power Management section.
(2) Next, install "Hotkey Features Integration" from the Software and Utility section.
(3) Finally, install "Power Manager" itself. (Version 6.36 you see there is the latest version).
Reboot as instructed during the installation process.
As for the Lenovo "anti-shock feature," install "ThinkVantage Active Protection System" from the Thinkvantage Technology section
That should do it. Let us know how you do.

If you want the big green battery to show that your ipod is charging, manually disconnect your ipod through itunes by clicking the eject button in the source list or, in my computer, right click the ipod drive and click the eject/disconnect.
But if your using a mac, do the same as in itunes or grab your ipod icon on the desktop and drop it into the trash.
Now your ipod will disconnect and the battery icon should display
Note: Do not disconnect the USB cable or it wont charge.

Edit > Preferences. Select the check box for Ringtones, this will add them to the listing in iTunes.

Yes, you do need an antivirus app for iOS. Though I'd be surprised if it would be very useful. Things have changed a lot on the internet since that came out. An old version of Firefox might be better. I don't know where you would get an old version of flash. It is an Adobe product.

Hi. I'm trying to make my application accessible via a screen reader to impaired users. Unfortunately, I'm not having any success whatsoever. If I didnt know Java had accessibility stuff built-in, I would assume that it was just not compatible at all with screen reader technology.
How do I enable the Java accessibility stuff so that UI components are accessible to a screen reader; they can be iterated over and get sensible names and/or descriptions of them?
I wrote a simple application, attached below, which just makes a demo UI from which I can start learning the basics of the accessibility stuff. Out of the box, the UI is completely opaque to a screen reader (I'm using the VoiceOver utility bundled with Mac OS X, which does ok with normal applications).
I tried setting things focusable to no avail, voice over cant cycle through the UI component using the normal keyboard short cuts, and nothing is spoken when I tab between components, despite some things having natural labels, like a menu, and some things, like the button, where i've set the accessible name and description on the accessible context of the component.
Obviously, I'm doing something wrong or I just don't understand how the accessibility stuff works.
Could someone please shed some light on this so that I can make my application accessible to a screen reader?

Ok, so a very curious issue. If I comment out adding the menu bar to the window, ie comment out this line:
aFrame.setJMenuBar(aMenuBar);
The screen reader reads me back everything just like I would expect. I comment the line back in, and nothing, the application is completely invisible to the screen reader.
Anyone have any idea what this is about?

I am running OAS 10.1.2 on HP UX 11i 64 bit.
OAS 10.1.2 supports PHP, but the image function does not work. The imagecreate function gives the error:
Call to undefined function: imagecreate()
According to www.php.net, image functionality requires the GD library and one
is bundled since PHP 4.3. OAS 10.1.2 has PHP 4.3.9 so I assume that GD is
available.
But how do I enable the GD library?

In php.ini look for extension_dir, make sure it points to somewhere that exists and then further down you will see Dynamic Modules set out a little like this...

Somehow the function keys got turned off. So I suspect there's a way to turn them on again.
