I access my software via a remote desktop connection, but the window/webpage is too small to work on, how do I expand it?

Either use the little stripes on the lower right hand corner of the window you are focussed on, ot use ⌘+ to enlarge the text.

Mozilla hasn't changed anything like that in Firefox 3.6.x versions, which is getting security patches but not any further development of new or existing features. Plus, Mozilla doesn't install anything related to Yahoo, something else probably installed that.

There was a feature similar to what you are describing, that was in and out of the Firefox 4.0 betas last fall, but the 3.6 versions never had anything remotely like what your description has me visualizing.

It looks like it is an issue between Adobe and Microsoft. (Many Adobe programs are responding this way to Windows 8 and 8.1)

I tried this first, it comes with Windows and changes your display properties by application: (but it didn't work)
The program above basicly edits these settings (you can get to these by right clicking on the exe application) I tried many combos, an even tried them under the "change for all users" setting.....NADA!
I have tried editing the Windows display settings: (all screen shots below are with this setting size)
The screenshot below is at 250%. It does not make any difference in the application (check out the menu bar, properties, icons....) If I go over 150% I lose dialog box space...the buttons disappear! If I keep it at 150% the words "Advanced Actions" at the top of the dialog box shrinks slightly, enough to fit the buttons in...) I showed the difference using snag it (12 pt arial compared to the appearance of the UI ~ 4 pt.) This is so hard to see! Same issue in some of the other adobe applications. (fyi...they are all up to date)
Photoshop = same problem
Dreamweaver = working fine
Flash = working fine
Premier Pro = half working....(menubar is ok but everything else is real small)
Muse = not working
Adobe Edge Code = Working fine

How do I center my new "Pages" blank document when enlarging it's window

When I use the "Pages" application to type a paper, I try to enlarge the entire window without "Fullscreening" it all.
My problem is this: Once I've expanded the entire "Pages" window from corner to corner, emcompassing the entire monitor screen, however still not actually "Fullscreen", the blank text document I'm trying to type up will stick to the bottom RIGHT hand side of the window and I want to just cent the document, just like it automatically does when using microsoft word.

When I fullscreen the "pages" application to type up the blank document I'm currently trying to write up, The entire topside tool bar-menu bar - all slides out of veiw unless I hold my mouse upward towards the top and hold it until it comes back down.... I'm sick of that on a level I can't go into detail with on this website, so, please, if anyone out there can also let me know how to make that topside menu bar - toolbar - whatever, stay exactly where it is and NOT auto hide itself, I'd be greatly appreciative to you. Pages doesn't work as Word do. Pages works in another ways.
You are saying " the blank text document I'm trying to type up will stick to the bottom RIGHT hand side of the window". Are you sure as Pages sticks to the left side in the window boths in Pages 09 and 08?
There isn't any option to get the the toolbar or Format bar to show pemanently in Full view.

The first place to start may be to check Activity Monitor. Look at the Disk Usage tab and the CPU tab and see if any one or two things seem to be dominating that activity. Especially see if it's some 3rd party app or background process.

Ok i notice that i try to expand my window it slightly get bigger but never fill the desktop ,how do i get it to do that without manually stretching it everytime.

ya the click and drag is the closest you will find but in all honesty after you use the windows at the smaller size you will probably think it is easier to work since you can see things behind you and you still have basically all of the same info you had on your windows. i do understand there could be some times you would want full screen but after using macs for a while you will probably find them few and far between, IMHO at least.

You can do it with third-party programs, but I don't recommend it because you can damage the hard drive. The best way to do it is to delete your Windows volume and create it again with the size you need

Manually resize a window: Drag the window’s edges (top, bottom, and sides).
Expand a window: Double-click an app’s title bar to expand the app window to fill the space between the Dock and the menu bar. If the Dock is on the side of your screen, the window expands to fill the space below the menu bar and to the side of the Dock. You can also Option-click the green full-screen button in the top-left corner of an app window.
You can also switch to fullscreen using the green full-screen button in the top-left:

Expand document window to always have Nice Gray border around image

Is there a command, or an Apple Script, or a hack of some sort (which I can assign to a function key) to EXPAND a document window so that I have a 100 pixel (or whatever) gray border around the image itself (not IN the image).
I am processing around 4,000 pictures, and it would save me hand-drag-enlarging Every Single Window, especially as I often miss the grow-tab in the lower-right edge of the window bezel...

Yes, this is what I said above, and if you have multiple documents, it's a REAL PAIN.
Perhaps if the 'F' key had only two modes, instead of four, it would be acceptable.
As it is now, with multiple documents, the 'F' is just as bad as dragging the window enlarge tab.
I've been asking Adobe for this for at least five years now. Given that many tools are best used when started OUTSIDE the image, I cannot understand how they could ignore this request !
(Rant: Unless, of course, if user requests are treated internally as insults by Adobe. It sure feels that way)
