How do I enter and save manual IP settings to connect to a router?

trying to access office network. on auto mode ipad2 picks up inaccurate IP addresses etc. when i enter values manually in the 'static' options it doesnt seem to save them. pls help. thanks

Do other computers or iPads connect to the office network with no problem? If so, you may need to reset the iPad's network. Go to Settings-General-Reset-Reset Network Settings. You will then need to reconnect to WiFi.

Hi,
I am printing 12x18" images on 13x19" sheets. I find it difficult to enter the 13x19" dimensions because each value jumps to another random value when I move to enter the second dimension. For instance 13 jumps to, say, 8.5 as I type 19 into the second box. Same with the sheet dimensions.
Also, when I finally get it all correctly, the margins don't set themselves automatically - which I would I expect.
Then, even though I save the setting by clicking Save Setting at the gear below, next time I turn Aperture on, it's all gone.
Any ideas? Thanks.

For me, it is working with these settings, Raphael.
Does your image have a 12x18" aspect ratio? You may want to crop it to the desired aspect ratio before printing.
I can only test with Aperture 3.6 on Yosemite 10.1.

APP-PAY-07546: Before continuing, enter and save new information...........

I logged into oracle applications (enter and maintain > query person > other > qualifications) and entered a new qualification. Then i saved the newly captured qualification and exit oracle applications. When i log back into oracle applications again to see the qualification i just captured, then i get this following error message: 'APP-PAY-07546: Before continuing, enter and save new information, or save the information already entered.'
What causes this error message to display? I did save the record first time I entered it. The error message will not go away until i save the record again. Then only can i continue.

I need to save all files from web and store onto a drive to reupload to a new domain name. I use Dreamweaver CS3.

First define your Local Site folder in Dreamweaver. DW will use this folder to store your site files.
Go to Manage Sites > New or Edit site. See screenshots.
Servers: Enter your remote server's log-in details. When complete, hit TEST to see if the connection is working. If all is well, hit SAVE.
From the Files Panel (F8), click on Remote Server to show the files that are currently there. Click the green Down Arrow to GET files from remote server to your local site folder.

How do I find and save the background music file of my Flash site?

I see that the background music in my Flash site is located in a symbol called muz. When I click the properties of this symbol, the sound file's location is listed as .\flash\sound\muz.wav I couldn't find that sound sub-folder in the flash folder nor could I find the file. I tried doing a search to look for the muz.wav file in my computer but it could not be found. Does anyone know how I can find and save this file? Can the symbol somehow be exported and the sound file be extracted that way?

I copied and pasted the symbol into an empty .fla file. This new .fla file is just 1 frame. Can you tell me what you mean by "spreading" it along the timeline? When I tried exporting it to a .wav file (as just 1 frame in timeline), I only hear a fraction of a fraction of the first note of the music in the generated .wav file. The music is heard fine in its entirety when previewing the .fla file (F12).
By the way, in the symbol's properties, there is an option to "Export for ActionScript" and an option to "Export for runtime sharing". Do you think any of these would work?

The iTunes-only way is: figure out where you want your excerpt to begin and end. Right-click the track, Get Info, Options tab, set the Start/Stop times accordingly, and OK out. Right-click again, and choose Create XXX version (where XXX is the format indicated in your Import settings). Right-click one more time, and unset the Start/Stop times.
This procedure will leave the full track in place, and will create a new file and library entry with just your excerpt.

It's really too bad we can't see VJ's face when the concept sinks in. This is one of my favorite moments when teaching APEX classes. Most people love it, some people don't. If nothing else it really proves the power and performance of the Oracle database. Each page view can generate 40+ queries, yet on the average system this takes less than .04 seconds.
Keep in mind there are no undocumented features or "Oracle Internals" that the APEX team uses to achieve this performance, just sound database design. With every feature they add they evaluate how it will be used and design the tables and indexes to most efficiently answer the query. Sometimes this means going against "purist" normalized principals.

Its easy to take an iPad screenshot. Press & release the Home and the Power buttons quickly at the same time. I have trouble with that so I press & hold the Home button and then very quickly press and release the Power button. Your screenshot is stored in the Camera Roll of the Photos app. Probably the easiest way to get it to your PC is to be using iCloud, or email it to your PC. There are also some wireless sync apps in the iTunes app store that let you send photos from the iPad to a Mac or PC. I use PhotoSync.
