How do I enter registration code for Quicktime Pro?

I just bought Quicktime pro to install on my new imac. I cannot seem to find where to enter the registration code. My current version is QT X. I see from other forums that I should not delete X but still cannot seem to find how to do this. Please help.

I have entered my name and reg code accurately. There is no place to press enter so I am not sure where to go from here. Any help would be appreciated.
Pressing the "Tab" key enters the data as explained HERE.
In actual fact, I don't think Pro is installed.
If in doubt, try opening the "Properties" window or exporting a file. If you can do so, then the app is keyed for "Pro" use.

Entering Registration Code for Quicktime acts like it works but doesn't actually

I've read a lot of these quicktime troubleshooting steps and support Q&A but can't seem to get Pro to unlock. I have verified that I am typing correctly in both the Registered To and Registration Code fields on the register.
When I hit Apply it produces a line of text that says QuickTime 7 Pro, but that's it.
When I hit okay and try to use some of the QT Pro functionality, say file>New Player it still acts like I don't have Pro. if I click About QuickTime it doesn't says 7.7.1 not pro
So heres what I have tried so far. Restarting Quicktime. Restarting the Computer. Uninstalling Quicktime Restarting the computer and Reinstalling Quicktime and trying to register again.
The problem still pursists. I have purchased the Windows Version, am running Windows 7, and have the latest version of quicktime. I don't mind re-doing any of these steps if it will help troubleshoot this problem. What would you suggest to ensure that I can upgrade to QT Pro successfully?

That's all you get. There is no other confirmation.

It won't say "pro" anywhere other than a small "Pro" tag on the QuickTime "Q" logo. If the Pro labels disappeared from the commands and they're no longer greyed out, the key was correctly registered.
If "New Player" doesn't work, something else is amiss. First, confirm that the new player isn't just hiding behind an existing one or other window. If that's definitely not the case, do any of the other Pro functions such as Export work? Or are all of the functions not working?

I have Quicktime player and I reregistered with the purchased registration code for Quicktime 7 pro. It seems to be successfully registered with "Quicktime 7 Pro" appearing under the inserted registration code but it is not showing in Applications folder and I do not know how to access it or what to do. I bought QT7 in 2005 & following the links in various support documents all take me to dead ends. If I look at order history of my account it only goes back 18 months. There is mention of "downloadable software" section in accounts but that has gone, presumably replaced by the App Store. I am of course running Lion & want to unlock the Pro features on my MacBook Pro.

Sorry, no. We have the same problem of "lost" links to the software purchase history here in the USA. Fortunatally, someone came across this link in the support area and it appears to work for purchases made here at the US online store. However, the article containing the link I posted also states the following:
Outside Canada and the United States
If you purchased a QuickTime Pro key after 13 April 2001, contact the customer service number of The Apple Store . This number is available at the bottom of The Apple Store Web page for each region.
If you purchased a QuickTime Pro key from the QuickTime Web site before 13 April 2001, please consult your email or other records from that period for your key.

Believe others have tried contacting the US Customer Service number but were told to get the information form the Downloadable Software Purchases area for their account which, as we already know, no longer works. (In fact, the Customer Service people did not seem to even know that the old links were missing form our account pages or seem concerned about looking into fixing the problem.) While I don't hold out any hopes that you will fare any better, you can give it a try and at least ask if there is a similar external URL for people in other regions. I personally would also send formal QT feedback regarding the problem.

I have to go through a lot of searching in finding it under 2 accounts. It's just a lot easier getting it sent to me again rather trying to find it here where it should be easy to find, but not. Apple's word on the subject says:
You can retrieve purchased registration keys with these steps:
Visit the Apple Online Store.
Click "Account" in the upper-right corner.
On the "Your Account" page, click "View Order History".
Enter your Apple ID and password.
Additional Information
You can only retrieve a lost QuickTime Pro key if you purchased it through the Web. In most cases, the key will be identical to the key you lost.
If you purchased your QuickTime Pro upgrade from another source, the key is not available for retrieval and you must purchase another key from The Apple Store.
If you have already tried this and cannot find it, you can only contact the Store and ask them.

You can still use the old Light room that you have purchased. For that you need to uninstall this light room.
Install the light room that you have purchased with the DVD or the download link & then activate it with the serial number.
The light room that you had purchased earlier might not be the same version, the present light room is version 5.

My problem is thet a person made a montage from photos and saved it as .MOV file format and the presentation is going to be made on a flat screen TV from a USB mem card or thumb drive -
first problem was card was FAT32 formatted - and I think I understand that for a 5GB file size that ExFAT is required and XP with patches or Windows 7 and Mac OS read this format so not a problem to format USB to be ExFAT - but the TV needs AVI or a MPx format

There is no QuickTime System Preferences pane in 10.6.8 or later.
You enter the registration under the player 7 menu.

Customer asked me to create a transaction with the screen 100 as the starting screen.

In the Default Values section, enter START_REPORT in the transaction field. Check the "skip initial screen" box. In the Name of Screen field section enter the following lines:
Name of screen field:                               Value
D_SREPOVARI-REPORTTYPE                RW
D_SREPOVARI-REPORT                        ZPCA
Save and transport accordingly.

Can any one let me know the procedure as to how to create a t-code for a user defined PCA report. I have created a PCA report (copied the existing report (8a26-001) and named it as zpca and assigned the same in a new Report Group ZPCA (the group is created by copying 8a26 group) and assigned it under the library 8a2. We have added few fields required by the user to the Z report.
Now i need to create a transaction code for that zpca report. can anyone suggest how to go about it.
