How do I enter the serial number in lightroom before the trial is up?

I'm trying to enter the serial number in the program that I downloaded from the trail version. How do I find where I can put the serial number in before the trial is up?

...and I thought it was an option each time you launched the programme but it's been a while since I had a trial version.
If neither John or I are correct then it's possible that you've downloaded the CC trial version by mistake....you can't enter a serial number into that version and will need to uninstall it and then download the standalone version (fear not if it comes to that you'll not lose any work).

If your version is current you can contact Adobe, give up your old license and get a platform transfer. Apparently free, just not automatic. Not available for older versions; status of CS6 uncertain.
I don't know why your Photoshop JPEGs would be unopenable unless it's a naming thing. Make sure you don't take the .jpg off the name or put anything AFTER, the Mac is very unforgiving of that.
But, while saving as JPEG saves a high quality file for pro use, it isn't best for putting on the web as it's too big. Use Save For Web instead, also gives more control and previews showing the final image quality. But be sure to reduce image size FIRST.

I want to use Adobe Acrobat for the first time and I got a window for the serial number.
I had the wrong paper in my hand and typed the serial for CS5 which was denied.
I found the correct paper with the serial number for CS 6, but the window for typing it in doesn't
return to the screen.
I can see a getting started window flash by, but it doesn't stay on-screen long enough to read what it says.
I don't know how to get the window for the serial number for CS6 to be entered.

one way is to deinstall your CS6 in combination with a reboot. After reinstalling should CS6 start now with the registration mask.

You might not have activated Acrobat on your system after buying it which is why it is asking to provide the serial number.

There are two LRs, one licensed by a serial number, and one licensed by logging into CC, but only one LR can be installed at a time.
You need to uninstall the serial-number LR, then Quit the CC Desktop application (using the gear/quit or right-click/quit) and restart it, then you should see LR in the Apps list with an Install button next to it. Install that version and you’ll be fine.

Purchases from the App Store do not include serial numbers. The App Store itself provides the licensing for the product. You will have to contact Apple to have them help you reinstall Lightroom through the App store (just because it is no longer for sale does not mean that you will not be able to download your past purchases).

The App Store version of Aperture will never ask for a serial number so something got confused on your system. Did you ever have a non App Store version of Aperture installed? Did you download the trial version for some reason?
You can try moving Aperture from the Application folder to the desktop and then going to the App Store. Log in with the same Apple ID you used to purchase Aperture and you should be able to download it again.

It's usually on the front of the little booklet that comes with it. There will be a couple of stickers with the serials printed. I normally take one off and stick it to the outside of the box so it's easier to get to later.

If you never bought the product then you cannot get the serial number.

My guess is that you won't be able to do much if you threw away the serial number before using it. The serial number will not have been externally visible on the box though... doing that would make it available for use by anyone who sees the box in any store.

If you remain unable to locate the serial number you might need to head back to wherever you purchased the product to confirm whether or not you might have thrown out the serial number or if it could even possibly have never been provided.
