How do I even out sky tone

I have a photo that I used a polarizer filter on. Normally this looks good but it was a wide angle shot and the sky is dark in the middle and fades to much lighter on either side. Does anyone have a suggestions on how to even out the tone? I'm using Elements 5 on XP.

You could try this:
-- Use the eyedropper to set your foreground color to the color of the sky at the apex and the background color to the color of the sky at the horizon in the center of the picture (where it is dark).
-- With the marquee tool select the sky portion of the picture.
-- Add a gradient adjustment layer above your current image and select the gradient you just defined. Set the layer blend mode to darken (or multiply and adjust the opacity until you get the effect you want.
-- Select a soft brush and, using the adjustment layer mask, mask out the non-sky areas.

I would turn on Sound Check to level out the songs. You do this by going to iTunes Preferences > Playback Tab > Check Sound Check.

I am trying to figure out how to even out the skin color, I have a picture of a model, unfortunately due to light and make up and her skin color the color of her face and her hands and body dont match, I think I saw a video on youtube where the skin color was evened out throughout the picture from raw I think this was done on bridge but I am not sure.
any one can please explain how to even out the skin color eitther on PS or bridge?
I currently have CS5 on a win 7 pc.

How do I even out the levels?

I have a video clip that has audio levels all over the place. I am wondering if a filter exists that will lift all the quiet stuff up to the louder stuff without raising the level of everything.
I thought that that was was 'normalizing' does. I tried doing it in SoundTrack, but no dice. Maybe I'm using it wrong.

You're probably thinking of a compressor. That will reduce the louder parts and can even out dynamics, but trying to make it even out wildly varying levels will probably end up having some very compressed parts and others not compressed thereby damaging the sound more than helping it.
If they are big sections you should try to use volume automation to even them out. Click E on the track in question and create breakpoints in the volume envelope, and reduce the volume on louder sections and raise it on lower ones.

I'm fairly new to FCE and to editing in general.
I've got a clip which contains a conversation, my camera is pointed at one of the speakers and their side of the conversation is significantly louder than the other.
Is there a filter I can use to make the loud side quieter and the quiet side louder in order to hear both sides of the conversation at roughly the same volume?

I have had the same problem for WEEKS and I cannot access any sites that use Flash. Flash has been installed on this computer since I bought it in 2012. I have allowed auto updates but for weeks the updates never get past Step 2 - is this because I do NOT want the Google Tool bar? I use NO tool bars as there is only 6 inches of vertical screen space. Is this because I uncheck wanting Chrome as a default browser? It is already installed, I just don't use it. I came to this site and ran the check is it installed and the system says it is either not installed or not enabled. Version 14 just downloaded about 30 minutes ago - but did not progress to Step 3 although a pop up screen came up with a finish button, which I clicked. WHAT is the problem and how do I fix it? If this were just a compatibility bug between IE11 and Adobe they have had plenty of time to fix it.

Try downloading and installing the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware. Update your MBAM definitions and then run a full scan of the PC. (Takes about 2 hour on my Lenovo.)

Adobe does not require a password to download the Flash installer. Generally speaking passwords are not required to download software, unless you must register with the website so as to log in. In that case you should never use the same name and password you use to administer your Mac.

I was saving a document when it originally quit. so "locked" file appeared in directory as well as reg file.
Upon restart of InDesign, recovery failed and software quit again.
Restarted computer, then indesign, file opens but as soon as I select "recover" it sends a message that indesign needs to close.
I cannot seem to get out of this cycle. Help.

Hello all. I have two servers, both with FMS, and both with 1Gbps dedicated connections. Sometimes the total traffic goes above 1gbps due to the large amount of viewers, while the second server is underused, so I'd like to know if there's anyway I can even out connections (using one upstream only to a server) so that I have, for instance, 1000 viewers in one server and 1000 viewers in the other, evening out the bandwith used among them. Thank you. I believe this falls into load balancing, although I have not much knowledge in such.

I have wrvs4400n v2 and I noticed
in the same wireless network WLAN, upload speed or download speed way exceeds the other stream speed.
I'm talking 10Mbps and 329kbs everytime!!
so in Win XP pro file sharing, pc1 copies file to pc2's shared folder way fast, but the pc2 takes forever to copy a file to pc1's shared foler.
file size of 18MB.
How do I make it even out so both upload & download speed are about the same?
so make it upload & download speed are like 5Mbps

What is the wireless setting on the router? (B,G,N or mixed) Is the wireless NIC in PC2 compatible with this setting? Have you tried different settings? B,G,N or mixed, and No i haven't tried different setting.
the thing is PC2 is connected through a wireless client(bridge) to its ethernet port. since the lan port is wol capable, i set up that way to wake her up when I need to wirelessly.
Do both PCs have the latest wireless NIC drivers? Yes, and the lastest firmware for the wireless client(bridge).
Have you tested the transfer with both PCs plugged into the router? If the same issue occurs, this would point to some other hardware problem. You mean they both PCs joined same network? if so, then yes. If you meant they both in same lan by ethernet port then no. I have another PC that pluged into router with cat5e, and it works flawlessly, I plugged my laptop and tested with iperf and it work great. then I connected my laptop by wireless, placed it close to the router, it also worked great.

What other thing do you have, things I can try to troubleshooting this speed issue?

Two 2008 R2 servers. Been running DFS-R for about a year now. Generally no problems.
If I run the DFSRdiag backlog command on either server, for one particular folder, it says there is no backlog. The only problem with that is; on one server there are 11 files in that folder, on the other server, in the same folder, there are
