HOW DO I EXIT  WHEN IN FULL SCREEN ?

HI THERE ALL...HAPPY NEW YEAR.
    I have just noticed that  MAIL has suddenly gone to "full screen" with no  ,traffic light' dots at the top left corner to either close or minimise.
  I don't think I have selected anthing different than normal. Can someone put me in the right direction to return to the normal zoom screen ( which leaves the tool bar  icons showing )
  thanks in advance

To exit from full-screen, move the cursor to the top of the display, so the menu bar will appear, and press this blue button at the right of the menu bar to return to the window and exit from full-screen:

  • How do you exit out of full screen mode for FCPX? ESC does not work.

    Hi guys. I cannot seem to find the exit to full screen viewing mode in final cut pro x. Escape key doesn't do the trick. There are no "exit full screen" buttons that pop up. It is confusing and I have to force quit the program every time I use full screen! Please help!

    There are two full screen modes in FCP X when running in MacOS X Lion.
    Fullscreen playback:
         Enter using the double arrow on the viewer or with command-shift-F.
         Exit with the Escape key.
    Fullscreen editing:
         Enter using the double arrow on the top right of FCP X's windows or control-shift-F.
         Exit using escape or control-shift-F.
    This is how it works for me.

    @Naiks, having suffered through unsuccessful synching attempts for Calendar and Contacts myself, l would suggest you try the following:
    UNINSTALL iCloud control panel from your PC. Seems silly, but do it.
    Go into Outlook, and look at the very top menu. Click FILE, then ACCOUNT SETTINGS, then click the popup box.
    You will see a list of all your email accounts. Make sure that ONE of them has a checkmark against it. If not, select the account your want as your default, and click "set as default.
    Exit out of Outlook and reboot your machine.
    Now reinstall iCloud, check CALENDAR and CONTACTS, and do as instructed when prompted.
    Reboot for good luck and now launch OUTLOOK. All that remains is to locate your iCloud Contacts and Calendar files, and make them your default.
    IMPORTANT: Don't panic if you can't find your contacts -- they're there. Click CONTACTS and you'll see you have several available contact files. Locate the one label "iCloud" in grey type. Right-click on it, select PROPERTIES, then click the Outlook Address Book tab. Check the box that says something like "Make this my default Outlook Address Book." Keep clicking "apply" and "okay" until you've exited out of the dialog box maze.
    You may have to do something similar with your Calendar files. I dd not, but if you need to, do it.
    Everything should now sync pretty seamlessly.
    I didn't have the exact same problem as you, but my dilemma was close enough. Good luck!

    Hi Pramod,
    This FPM navigation is achieved using settings made in Launchapd Customizing ( LPD_CUST ).
    a) Execute Tran LPD_CUST
    b) Go to Role HAP - Double Click to open it.
    c) Open the second folder on the LHS menu - there you will find 2 entries
    d) Click on second entry - in the entry setting you can see that it is configured for WD Application  - HAP_MAIN_DOCUMENT
    e) Click on button Show Advanced Parameters
    f) There you will find a input box named as Window Features - here you can specify window features like
    height=700,width=1100,position=center,menu=no,status=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=no,toolbar=no
    save the settings come out and test ur app again.
    change the height and width and other features as per ur req.

  • How to keep content centered in full screen mode

    I've searched all over Google and in here but am surprised to
    find nobody else with the same problem!
    How do you keep all of the items centered inside a Div when
    switching to full screen mode in IE? Everything in my "#global" Div
    shifts upwards creating a big mess and doesn't stay where it should
    in my content box (which is part of the background. There's no
    problems when resizing the window by dragging, just when using full
    screen mode. Here is my body and #global code:
    body {
    background-image: url(images/background2.jpg);
    background-color:#ECE5C8;
    background-repeat:no-repeat;
    background-position: 50% 50%;
    margin-top: 4%;
    margin-bottom:4%;
    #global {
    margin:auto;
    position:relative;
    width: 784px;
    height:554px;

    > background-position: 50% 50%;
    > margin-top: 4%;
    > margin-bottom:4%;
    Why use a percentage margin?
    Can we see the rest of the page?

  • How do I show ratings in full-screen preview?

    I'm new to Bridge, so I bet this falls into the new-user silly question category rather than a missing feature. How do I show ratings in full-screen preview?I touch the space bar to get the preview. If I touch a number 1-5, it adds that rating and a little oval box shows up in the lower left with the file name and the star rating. All very nice. Then if I scroll through my images, that same oval shows up for each image, with its respective rating. Again, nice. But each time I first enter full-screen preview, the oval is not displayed. How do I get it to show up, short of adding or modifying a rating? Surely there is some keystroke or gesture.

    CharleyBC wrote:
     --- How very odd. So the only way I can see the ratings in full-screen preview is to take a potentially destructive action. Adding a rating destroys whatever rating might have already been there.
    What I have done for a workaround is to re-rate an image to same value.  If I start a sequence of full-screen preview display I'll look at the rating of the first image (one star, for instance) then when image is displayed full screen I'll re-rate it one star.  Starts display of ratings in full screen without altering rating.  Then, as you mention in OP, I can sequence through images in full screen view and rating will be displayed.

  • How do I switch out of full screen in OS 10.10

    I am really frustrated by some of the features in OS 10.10.  When I click on the green button in the top left of a window, the window fills the screen.  I can't bring up the doc and I lose my menu bar unless I mouse to the top of the screen.  Clicking the green button used to just fill the screen with the window but I could still see the menu bar and access the doc.  How do I get out of full screen mode (I can't see any button to click that will do that) so that I can see my menu bar all the time and access my dock.  Is there a way to turn off this new green button feature and go back to the old way?

  • I have a new Macbook Pro.  When watching Youtube videos, it works perfectly until I attempt to watch the video in full screen.  When in full screen, the video freezes immediately and the audio continues.  When minimized it works fine as before. Help?

    I have a brand new Macbook model A1502.  I am taking online college classes that incorporate youtube tutorial videos.  I can watch the videos if I don't maximize the screen to full screen.  When in full screen, the video freezes immediately and the audio continues uninterrupted.  I can press escape and go back to the previous screen and the video continues to play with no problems.  Can anyone help me please?  This machine is literally just out of the box with maybe an hour of use.  Thanks in advance

    First, back up all data immediately, as your boot drive might be failing.
    There are a few other possible causes of generalized slow performance that you can rule out easily.
    Reset the System Management Controller.
    If you have many image or video files on the Desktop with preview icons, move them to another folder.
    If applicable, uncheck all boxes in the iCloud preference pane.
    Disconnect all non-essential wired peripherals and remove aftermarket expansion cards, if any.
    Check your keychains in Keychain Access for excessively duplicated items.
    If you have more than one user account, you must be logged in as an administrator to carry out this step.
    Launch the Console application in the same way you launched Activity Monitor. Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
    View ▹ Show Log List
    from the menu bar.
    Select the 50 or so most recent entries in the log. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V). You're looking for entries at the end of the log, not at the beginning.
    When posting a log extract, be selective. Don't post more than is requested.
    Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
    Important: Some personal information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting. That should be easy to do if your extract is not too long.

  • How can I run applications in full screen on my MacBook Pro?

    I recently started using an external HP w1858 monitor as a secondary display with my MacBook Pro. I'm having troubles with running applications in full screen mode on the secondary display. How can I run applications in full screen mode on the secondary monitor?

    If you always have the external display connected, you can configure the OS to consider it as the default or main display. Once everything is connected and set to your liking (resolution, color depth, etc.), "bless" the external display by clicking & dragging the menubar from the Mac's internal display onto the external. This only works if you are not using video mirroring.
    Once this is done, applications will open by default on the external and now "main" display and you can configure them to go fullscreen or whatever.
