How do I expand the timeline with labels (cc 214)
How do I expand the animation timeline with labels. I'm working through the Edge Animate "Classroom in a Book". In lesson 3 I successfully expanded the animation time line by selecting all the timelines and dragging the cursor from the last frame after the cursor turned into the double arrow.
In lesson 5 I put in some labels and the lesson text told me that when the timeline is expanded the labels would change position proportionally. This didn't happen. The labels stayed where they were. When I used the menu to "select all" the timelines and the labels were selected but then when I tried to expand the total animation timeline by dragging the last frame the whole sequence moved along the timeline without expanding proportionally.
What am I going wrong?
Hi there,
I'm not familiar with the details of the lesson that you're referring to, but I am able to lengthen transitions and labels at the same time. The first step is to select all (Cmd/Ctrl+A) in the timeline, as you did. And after reading your description, it seems like you're doing everything correctly but just in case a visual example is helpful, here's a screencast that I just made using Edge Animate CC 2014:

Each panel is usually just a locked object, unlock them and resize the boxes.

But i have a create button and cancel button.
After filling the details in the required columns, when i click the create button, if any validation errors are there.. the page is re-rendered. while doing that the hidden items are getting displayed back.
Tried Solutions:
1. I created a same function once more and in the last added the doSubmit('CREATE') and called the script from the create button.
At that time the hidden fields labels are getting displayed.
2. I created a process On load before header To call this script on a condition :REQUEST = 'CREATE'
Then also fruitless..
I hope now it is clear....

How do I fix the timeline so both the images and the timeline are 1080p?
Hello everybody. I'm a relative newbie to FCP, but not totally new to the world of video editing. I've got a problem that I hope somebody out there can assist me with.
I've shot a lot of footage in HD (1080p) and have imported everything into a timeline. I've performed all my edits, transitions, music integration etc - now when I go to output the footage I realise I've made the mistake of doing everything in a 576p timeline.
I've figured out how to resize the timeline, but all the clips appear in their original 576p resolution in the middle of the canvas (ie huge bars around the image)..
My question is simple enough.. How do I fix the timeline so both the images and the timeline are 1080p? Is there a method to 'resize' all the clips to the new timeline? Will this resize the 576p clips or will they still be native 1080p?
If importing all those clips into the original timeline has destroyed pixels, then resizing to 1080p is definately not what I want to do. I want to retain all the resolution of the original clips.
Any advice would be very much appreciated. I've created nearly 300 edits in this timeline, not including all the effects and transitions. If I have to redo all this because I set up the timeline incorrectly I'm going to be rather upset!
Thanks everybody.If you captured the footage as 1080 then the fastest way to re-size all the clips back to 1080 is to select all the clips on the time line and then in the menu bar go to Edit -> Remove Attributes. This will pop up window asking which attributes you want to remove. I would try checking the Basic Motion and Distort attributes and click OK. This should pop everything back to their original size and shape.
However, this will also remove any re-sizing or distortion that is intentional (ie to blow up a particular clip so you can focus on something). -
I have a 750GB HDD. Speaking visually (looking at Disk Utility) I had a 250GB Mac Journaled partition on the top, and a 500GB Mac Journaled partition on the bottom.
The 250GB partition has been deleted and is now free space.
Now how do I expand the 500GB partition "upwards" when the GUI only gives me a resizing handle on the bottom right corner in Disk Utility?
I am comfortable with Terminal if there is a non-destructive CLI way to do this, since the Disk Utility GUI seems to have failed here...OK.
You will need to check out a third-party utility. The diskutil CLI utility cannot non-destructively change the start of a partition map, only the end (which is why you only get the draggable handle in the GUI at the bottom of each partition...same idea).
To be honest, I'm not even sure how well third-party tools will do at this either. Changing the start of a partition is non-trivial, be cause of the partition map files, b-trees and so on which have to be moved. iPartition is well regarded, but also not free.
And regardless of what tool you use, you will want a backup of your data (assuming that it's data you want to keep, or you wouldn't care about non-destructive repartitioning). Which might mean that just getting a new HDD , copying the data and then repartitioning the current one and having an extra HDD because of it may be the simplest and safest solution anyway... -

What do you mean exactly? Is your track labeled with the correct tags in iTunes? You can right->click on problem tracks and choose Get Info in iTunes. Then head over to the Info tab and fill in the information for the track as necessary.

You should be able to "swipe" the tabs list away. Press with your finger near the line that separates the tab list from the webpage, and drag to the left.

Whether you can redownload music depends upon what country that you in. If you are using your computer's iTunes then does music show in the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page (on your phone you might be able to redownload media via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app) ? If music shows there, but not that album, then check to see if it's hidden : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919
If you aren't in a country when you can redownload music and it's still on your phone then you should be able to copy it over from the phone via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases. -

I'd start off your troubleshooting process by deleting and redownloading the songs:
If iTunes in the Cloud is available in your country, try the following steps to resolve the issue:
Delete the purchased song that is exhibiting the problem from your iTunes library.
Click on the Purchased link in the iTunes Store to view your previously purchased music.
Download your previously purchased song from this list.

Filling up a pdf form which I received as email. I opened it on my adobe reader 11 and filled up the highlighted fields. Yet when I click on the send via mail it says changes will not be included. How do I send the form with changes?
The add annotations field shows as not allowed in the security options. So how do I send this form back with the changes??I think you you need to click 'save' first, then it is saved to acrobat, where it will prompt to send.

How can I use the DBAdapter with SequencingPollingStrategy in OSB Cluster?

I have a OSB cluster. I need to read a view with the DBAdapter. I use SequencingPollingStrategy to implement the adapter.
Then I import it into OSB and make it work and the service works normally in the single node.
But if I import it into OSB cluster, the service always read the duplication records from the view.(the Distrbute polling is not worked in SequencingPollingStrategy )
So how can I use the DBAdapter with SequencingPollingStrategy in OSB Cluster?
