I need to export new playlist to IPhone and cannot seem to make it work. Usually it happens when I sync but not this time. TIA

Your earlier phone must have been originally intended for sale in another country and must have been purchased from somewhere other than an authorized Apple retailer. Phones that are intended to be sold in the UAE have FaceTime permanently disabled. The option is not there and cannot be made to work.

How do I revert to Snow Leopard from Mountain Lion? I do not have the setup disk that came with my MacBook but I do have the Snow Leopard software.

I upgraded to Mountain Lion and very much regret this move. I cannot use Parallels or Bootcamp for Windows XP which I need for some of my 'older' accessories. How do I revert from Mountain Lion back to Snow Leopard? I have the Snow Leopard software but I do not have the original setup software disk that came with the MacBook (leant to a friend and never seen again).

If you do revert to Snow Leopard, be aware of this "feature" I used with my 2009 MacBook Pro:
When it had the original OS (Leopard, I believe) I set up Bootcamp with Windows XP. I also installed Parallels and use the Bootcamp partition for Windows XP within Parallels.
I then upgraded to Snow Leopard and all was fine.
I then upgraded to Lion and still my Bootcamp partition works for Windows XP and also for Parallels.
I have not upgraded to Mountain Lion so I cannot speak to whether or not the Bootcamp paritition of Windows XP will continue to work. If you do and it works, LET US KNOW!

The templates are stored locally. If you want to move a template then you can open the tempate on the machince where they already exist, then save as a file (let's say on you desktop), then email, or move (using a flash drive) to the Mac mini.
Open the file on the mac mini and save as a template.
I do not have Numbers on an iOS device so I cannot say how to get it to your iphone. I would think you can share the document using iCloud then open from iCloud on the phone and save as a template.

If Contacts are the only thing you care about, you can turn on iCloud on the old phone following the setup instructions in http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/ and insure that you turn on Contacts in the list of items to be synced.
You can verify that the contacts are uploaded to iCloud by then logging in to https://www.icloud.com
On your new phone, when you setup iCloud and turn on Contacts, as you did on the old phone following the instructions above, the contacts will automatically sync to the new phone.

Force the phone into recovery mode & restore from your most recent backup:
Turn your phone off. Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new. Follow this by syncing your content back to your phone.

Firefox does not open in safe mode and from the menu bar it will not quit ...... I have to go to the dock and right clic to force quit.
I have tried to uninstall and reinstall, to try terminal as instructed
It will not open in safe mode

Try doing a "clean install" of Firefox:
# Force quit Firefox
# Drag Firefox (in Applications) to Trash, and empty trash
# Download Firefox again from http://www.mozilla.com and re-install.

For the slideshow in the form of an Quicktime movie just export the slideshow via the export button at the bottom of the iPhoto window
and select the size to be created
If you want to have the slideshow in your iBook's iPhoto Library as it is in your iMac's library you'll need to copy the entire library from your iMac to your iBook.
A 3rd option is to export the photos used in the slideshow to a folder on the Desktop, copy that folder to the iBook, import into the iBooks library and recreate the slideshow.

that indicates that PS wants to save it as a PS formatted file. You'll need to either select JPEG from the menu and save (top image) or click on the desktop in the Navigation window (bottom image) and save it to the desktop for importing as a new photo.
This method will let iPhoto know that the photo has been editied and will update the thumbnail file to reflect the edit..
NOTE: With Photoshop Elements 9 the Saving File preferences should be configured as shown:

I also suggest the Maximize PSD File Compatabilty be set to Always. In PSE’s General preference pane set the Color Picker to Apple as shown:

NOTE: If you want to use both iPhoto's editing mode and PS without having to go back and forth to the Preference pane, once you've selected PS as your editor of choice, reset the Preferences back to "Open in main window". That will let you either edit in iPhoto (double click on the thumbnail) or in PS (Control-click on the thumbnail and seledt "Edit in external editor" in the Contextual menu). This way you get the best of both worlds.
