How do i export contact to my simcard

How do I export contacs to my simcard from, my iphone

You can't - and you probably wouldn't want to, unless you were happy to lose vast amounts of varied contact data an iPhone can store that a SIM card cannot.

I just got a new phone - all of the data from my old phone didnt get transferred because
I was using 2 separate apple ids - how can i export the data from the id i am no longer usIng
    to the new id

Does the old phone have the old apple ID ?
If it does then sign out of the old iCloud account, Keep your info on your phone, sign in with new apple ID, then merge to cloud. Give it a few minutes. You should see the other contacts appear on your new phone via iCloud.

  • How do you export contacts

How do you export your contacts out of your MacBook over to an Excel Spreadsheet?

Address Book (you are talking about the contacts in Address Book, I presume) only has the ability to export either vCard format or an Address Book archive, neither of which is readable directly by Excel. There are a number of 3rd party applications available that claim to be able to make the conversion, however. One of them is available in the Mac app store - Export Address Book.
    Best of luck.

  • How do you export contacts from iphone 3g to car

I have a 2009 MB C300 sport.  I paired the phone with no problem.  I can't export contacts to the car.  Nor can I manually enter the contacts using the buttons on the car's panel.

iPhone only supports PBAP(phone book access profile). If your vehicle's bluetooth system does not support PBAP as well, there is no way to make your contacts available.

  • How do I export contacts from Outlook 2011 to icloud

icloud will only let me import a vcard and is only showing 24 of my 250 contact I have in outlook 2011.I tried exporting the olm file out of outlook but icloud contacts will not read it.
Is there a way of getting icloud to pick up on all of my contact .
    Thanks
    Appreciate anyones help with this

This page: http://www.macworld.com/article/1054187/outlooktoaddress.html - has this to say:
'Under Outlook 2002 you could simply open your contacts and drag them to the desktop to turn them into vCards. No longer. Try this and the contacts are converted to messages.
While you can select a single Outlook contact, choose File -> Save As and, in the resulting dialog box, choose vCard Files from the Save as Type pop-up menu, this works only for individual contacts—you can’t export a group of contacts this way.
You have a few options for eventually getting the things out of Outlook. The first is to select all your contacts and choose Action -> Forward as vCard. Outlook will create a new email message that contains all your contacts as individual vCard attachments. Send this message to yourself, pick it up on the Mac, drag these files into Address Book or Entourage’s Address Book and you’re good to go.
Or Sperry Software can lend a hand with its $20 vCard Converter Add-in for Microsoft Outlook. This adds a service that enables Outlook to export all your contacts as a single vCard.'
    A Microsoft Help Page suggests:
'The simplest way to do this would be to export your Outlook contacts to a tab-delimited file and then import that into Address Book.
In Outlook select File menu --> Export... and select Contacts to a list (tab-delimited text).
Save the new file to your Desktop.
In Apple's Address Book select File menu --> Import... and select your file.
Use the next window to match the field names in Address Book with those in your export file'
If using either method you import into Address Book you can sync that to iCloud, which is probably easier than trying to import into the iCloud website. If you're prepared to splash out $20 the Sperry Software program would  simplify matters a lot.

if you just want to backup your iphone cantacts in windows ( and not vice vera)...then
1- delete all contacts from windows ( i used win7 so ther's a "contacts" system folder....but in iwnXP , i guess it is called Address Book)
    2- Connect iphone to PC
3- in iTunes, select your device, go to "Info" tab.
    4- mark checked -- >Sync Contacts with
5- From the dropdown options, select "Windows Contact"
    6- click "SYNC: button.
that's it...you should see your iPhone contacts in windows.

  • How do i export my contacts from my address book to a spreadsheet

How do I export contacts from my Mac Address book to a spreadsheet?

If you have Numbers (which is part of the iWork suite, which you can get on the App Store) you can drag a group of address cards directly from Contacts to a Numbers sheet.
The only caveat to this is you must enable this in the System Preferences > Security & Privacy, then select the "Privacy" segment and then select "Contacts" on the left.  Then check the box corresponding to Numbers in the Applications list.

  • Export contact photos from Address Book [REPOST]

Exporting contact photos from Address Book in Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger is a simple drag-and-drop to iPhoto or Finder. The picture is saved as a TIFF. However, in 10.5 Leopard, dragging the contact photo is non-responsive in both viewing and editing mode.
How do you export contact photos from address book in Leopard?

I dont believe you can. The address book usually makes use of photos already available on your drive, such as those in your iphoto libraryd, or the login icons, etc. Perhaps the lack of drag and drop is something they unintentionally left out, in which case you can request it by sending Apple feedback here: http://www.apple.com/feedback/macosx.html

    See my posts here: https://discussions.apple.com/message/21653759#21653759
I know I posted another one relating to Numbers, but can't find it.
Instead of sending to a TextEdit document, you can just send it to the clipboard (there is an action for that).
    Then paste it into Excel.
Ok, here is the one with the clipboard action: https://discussions.apple.com/message/22309780#22309780

  • Export contacts and calendar to microsoft outlook

How do I export contacts and calendar to microsoft outlook?  Everything is correct on icloud and my phone but outlook calendar and contacts got wiped out.  Perhaps during a retore of the phone?  I've tried all sorts of setting changes with the help of IT but nothing works.  Using an export function from icloud only exports one contact at a time even thought I select all. When I use the icloud control panel to write a file, it bombs out regardless of whether I select all contacts and calendars or selected ones.  At one point I accidentally merged contacts and calendar entries (double and quadruple contacts).  I've manually corrected both contacts and calendar entries on icloud so that it and my phone are now correct, but the outlook contacts and calendar are remain empty and will not sync.  I've spent days on this debarkle.

same problem here. let me know if you find a solution.

  • HT204053 I somehow erased all my contacts from my IPHONE, how can i export them from icloud to my phone?

I somehow erased all my contacts from my iPhone, how can I export my contacts from my icloud account from my PC?

    joephilipose,
If the contacts are still in Address Book on your computer, but just not on the phone, you can tell iTunes to force replace the contacts on your phone with those from your computer. You can do this by going into the Info tab when your iPhone is connected, and checking the Contacts box under the Advanced section at the bottom of the page.
You may also want to backup your Address Book information as well. It's a good idea to make periodic backups of your contact and calendar information in case information accidentally gets deleted or changed. You can find out how to backup your Address Book data here:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=AddressBook/4.0/en/ad961.html
To backup your iCal information, follow the steps in this article:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=iCal/3.0/en/9889.html
    Hope this helps,
    Jennifer B.
