How do I export or copy my SMS messages?

There's an Italian App which claims to be current (2011) Reviews of it are current (September 2011)
There is a trial  version. I downloaded it but when run it tells me there are no SMS messages on my iPhone and that I must have iTunes sync with iPhone.
Why?
I did sync it. Does that mean iTunes keeps the SMS records too?
Anyway, the initial startup of that App fails because iTunes does not seem to have SMS records from myiPhone 4 or 3.
So, is there a way that I can download my SMS messages from my iPhone? And dosn't it seem like I should be able to since they are my messages and this is my iPhone?
thanks for  the help.

That wouldn't be difficult.
look at the toturial: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3529
Two steps to do that.
First, transfer your sms to you computer. You can using this iphone sms transfer and its guide.
Second, convert text file to pdf. Just use the adobe online pdf convert for simple text file.
So that you can export text messages from iPhone successfully!
Hope it can help you!

Email messages from my personal email account are being posted (copied) to SMS messages.  I have a new cell device (swtched from Droid to iPhone) and this is happening on the new device also.  The copy/forward to SMS is NOT being initiated by my email provider, and not by Gmail.   How do I end ûVerizon's forwarding my personal email to SMS?
    Thanks.

Maybe I'm missing something but how can Verizon have control over your personal GMail account?  Sounds like you do have your email set up to forward to sms.
I have certain emails that are forwarded to me as SMS but that is an option that is enabled on the email side of things and is independent from Verizon.

  • How do I find delivery times of SMS messages?

I got my bb curve yesterday. I am a Verizon customer. On my old phone, you were able to check what time a text was delivered to someone who was "in" network. On the Curve, I notice you get a "d" if it's delivered but cannot find anywhere to check what time that was...
    Is this possible?

I don't believe there is any way to get the delivery time of an SMS message.  Sorry.

  • How can I export (just copy all of email sent) all emails from outlook 2001

    Hi,
I have a macbook pro 10.8.4 and I would like to know how to copy all of emails that were sent from my outlook 2011. Please help ..

    Hi daviddonald!
I believe that the best option for getting your email into the Mail program will be by exporting your email from Outlook as an .mbox format, and then importing that into mail. An article about completing this procedure can be found right here:
Mac OS X Mail: How to transfer downloaded email from a non-Mac computer
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1534
If you are just transitioning from using Outlook on your Mac to using Mail on your Mac, then you will want to ignore the parts of that article that deal with transferring the .mbox file to another computer. Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities!

  • How do i leave a copy of a message in the inbox on the gmail server when I delete it on my iphone?

I am sure this has been worked out, just cant get it myself.
I have a freind who uses gmail and keeps all his history of messages in his inbox.  I have explained to him that its prob not the best thing to do, but that is how he has been doing it.  He is thining of getting an Iphone and moving from BB.  But he wants to know for sure that when a email message comes into his phone and he deletes it, on the server its still will be in his inbox.  Apparantly this is a function he currently has and its a make or break issue for him.
Thanks in advance for any answers.

So even though he can see everything he's ever gotten in All Mail, he still wants in in Inbox?  I realize the how to do it is a little bit of a stumper and it shouldn't be so difficult... but honestly, I think the more relevant question would be Why? Why would anyone in their right mind want to do that?
How does his Blackberry currently access his Gmail account? It should be a simple matter to duplicate the settings. It's undoubtedly just using POP and not deleting the originals as they are downloaded.
Here's what's going to happen if that's the case. The very first time he sets up a new device... phone, pc, doesn't matter, to use POP, it's going to download every e-mail he's ever gotten unless he goes in and tells Gmail otherwise.

  • How can I distinguish between iMessages and SMS messages in the iOS 7's "Messages" app?

I often chat with the same contact using both services, but I just have a duplicate contact thread in the "Messages" app, which I cannot distinguish unless I go into the thread itself and check to see whether the conversation is blue or green. Is there a way to distinguish between the two services? If so, how?
If not... Apple, get on it.

Excuse me great powerful one. I will certainly deal with it and I'll try to survive. Sorry if I have troubled you, great Sir. I am not worthy of your answers.
BTW: If you would have read the Q thoroughly you would not have posted an exact same answer.
"...unless I go into the thread itself and check to see whether the conversation is blue or green. Is there a way to distinguish between the two services?"
And I got your reply saying:
"Yes, by going into the thread itself and check to see whether the conversation is blue or green."
    Wow, that was heplful.

  • How to view multiple pictures in a SMS message as a slideshow??

I have the blackberry curve 9350/9360 and i occasionally get sms picture messages from friends with multiple pictures that i have to open up seperately to view.  Is there a way to change the settings so that it will open up as a slide show and i can use the mouse to scroll through the pictures without having to open each one individually.  Also the size of the picture is small, is there a way to re-size it so that the picture will fit on the entire screen??  My old blackberry used to do this automatically and I miss that option.  Any ideas, please let me know...thanks.

instead of using set attribute you should use bind table method to display/update the records in table view.
step1 ) collect all the data in a local table
step2 ) and the bind that lacal table with your node
    search1 = wd_context->get_child_node( name = `TABLE1` ).
    search1->bind_table( lt_detail)
here lt_detail is your local table and TABLE1 is node which is bound with table ui element.

  • How do I turn off new threaded SMS messaging in OS 5.0?

I upgraded to v5.0.0.328 but now all of my SMS & MMS messages are combined into long threads according to the incoming phone # or short code. That's all well & good if the messages were coming from separate phone #'s so they'd be in separate threads but the issue here is that Verizon Wireless uses the same short codes for many of it's own customer-set alerts from the My Verizon website. For example, my 2 daily horoscopes, my 2 daily stock alerts, & all of my sport team score alerts all get sent using short code 1111.
So now in my SMS/MMS Inbox, I only see 1 listing from 1111, but when I open the subject, I get half of my screen filled w/ the keyboard automatically & now have 45 messages all on 1 screen because they're all from 1111.
I can't find in any option menu a way to turn both the threaded functionality off & to stop having the keyboard pop automatically.
    Help please!

I'm sorry I couldnt last any longer I actually downgraded back to the old OS
    Heres my test.
I sent myself a text message
    Received it
    Sent another
    Received it
If you choose delete, it will delete all messages, including the outbox.  That is one feature i do not like.  I like having the power to delete which messages I want
But thats even beside the point
    So check this out
    I sent myself a message
    received i
    sent another (#2)
    received it
    sent a third one
    received it
yet for some odd reason it decided to send TWO more; I was like; what the heck
But besides this text message problem, my storm has frozen up on me on a few applications and then the screen goes completely black, and no matter what key i press, the system stays black, so I press and press and press and press til finally something pops up then it takes forever to log out................/sigh

  • PC suite export/import breaks SMS messages

    Nokia PC suite 6.85.14.1
    Windows XP SP2
Phone 6500 classic connected either by Bluetooth or USB
just updated 6500c to 4.84 firmware
an sms message is received and is viewable fine in Inbox
using the phone I move it to Archive, it is still OK
I then export it to PC (drag-n-drop to a folder)
I delete the message in the phone and import (drag-n-drop) back to Archive
The message is there but it does not show sender name (instead I see the date in the header)
When I open the message and click message details, I can see that
To: field contains the actual sender, while Sender: has (no address)
I tried various things including messing with vmg content (putting same TEL: field to both VCARD entries), but on the import to 6500c, it is the same story - as if the import swaps the sender with receiver and clears the sender field
Please also note that at all times, when I view the messages in PC Suite (phone browser) they show correct sender field, I just need to see the same on the actual phone
Is there something I am missing?
Generally I just need to copy old sms messages from 7260, but when importing them they break as described above. I then tried to export a "6500" message and import it back - with same result. So it appears to be a PC Suite issue rather than anything

al_lea, thanks, I already thought about that, but as I said to exlucde any incompatibility issues within vmg I tried a export/import of a "native" sms freshly received on the 6500, and it gives the same problem.
I also tried changing versions to 3.0 manually in the vmg with no luck.
I'm starting to think the message is actually ok, but it's probably the 6500c software that doesn't display them right. When I try to reply to "broken" message, it does go to sender, even though he is not displayed as one
it looks like PC suite export or import strips the empty to: VCARD from inside the vmg, which is fine by the standards but 6500c doesnt like

  • How to make a safe copy of all mails or to export these?

Hello, I'n newbie on Mac OS X. I've been wondering how to make a safe copy of all mails in my inbox or to export all of them, like on Outlook with the function "Export". I don't find such function under MAIL. Can you please help me? Thanks
    Best regards.

    Hi
    Welcome to Mac Computing.
The folder holding your e-mail plus mailboxes etc. is located (via the Finder) in your User Account>Library>Mail folder. You can copy this folder to external media, such as another hard drive, or CD/DVD.
If you want to save specific e-mails, follow these directions from Mail's Help section (Help Menu):
    Exporting email messages:
You can save one or more messages as a separate file to archive messages or to import the contents into another application. You can open the saved message in TextEdit.
Open the message you want to export.
Choose File > Save As, and enter a name for the file.
Choose a location for the file from the Where pop-up menu.
Choose a format from the pop-up menu.
If you choose Rich Text Format, the text formatting of the message will be visible.
If you choose Plain Text, the colors, fonts, and other formatting will be lost.
If you choose Raw Message Source, the full delivery headers will be visible. If the message has attachments, you'll only see the encoded version of the attached files.
