How do I export photos from iPhoto11 (9.3.1) to a SD Card?

Select the photo(s) in iPhoto and export (file menu ==> export) to a desk top folder. Mount the SD card and drag that folder to it

HOw can I export photos from my iPad or iPod to my main computer? My old computer died with my photos on it but I want to move my photo library from my iPad or iPod to the computer I just bought. Thanks for any help you can give.

Sorry but your iPhoto library is not on an iPad or iPod - you may have photos there (most likely low resolution copies) but not an iPhoto library - dying computers (along with software and human errors) are why you always must have a backup - now is the time to load it

How do I export photos from iphoto to a memory card?

Not using the correct structure. Camera's use a very exact structure and the only way the camera will see photos on the card is for them to be in that exact structure

How can I export photos from APERTURE with a new sequence and ignore the embedded JPEG number? Have tried renumbering to no avail.
    has anyone resolved this issue?
This is now the second big Problem with using Apple's Appeture with NO apparent FIX...
Aperture has NO DIRECT way to Burn to a CD/DVD & apparently NO way to RE-SEQUENCE the numbering system????
ANYONE... I wish APPLE would address/fix these 2 problems... LIGHTROOM I guess is next?

    Hi David,
Coming in and whining loudly is rude.  We are all volunteers here, voluntarily sharing our expertise so that users like you can make the most of their time with Aperture.  Speaking just for myself:  although I do care about your success with software (it's why I'm here), I don't care what software you use.  If you want to use Lightroom, do so, and post your questions in an appropriate forum.
Burning files to a CD is a file operation done at the system level (it is built into OS X).  Aperture lets your create sharable image-format files from your Images.  You then use OS X's tools to burn those files to a CD.  Iirc, you can set up a "Burn Folder" in Finder, into which you can export files created from your Images, and with a single click burn your CD.
Naming the files you create by exporting your Images can be tricky.  There are _many_ possibilities.  Some things can't be done.  Sequencing can be done in a number of ways (see Léonie's answer above).  What have you tried?  What was the result?  In what way did this differ from what you expected?

Connect the iPad to the Mac and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Photos Tab on the right.
Click on "Sync Photos from" and then select the folder where your pictures are located - usually on the Mac in iPhoto

You don't.  There is the Camera Connection Kit, which let's you download pictures to your iPad via SD card, but the reverse is not a standard feature of iPad.  The best method would be to connect your iPad to your computer and transfer the pictures to your computer via iTunes.

  • How can I export photos from iPad Air to PC?

I purchased the iPad especially for a 3 month holiday to Europe rather than carry about a heavier and more valuable laptop PC. I used the iPad to store my 25000 plus photos (taken on a Nikon camera and imported via an SD card reader) from the holiday (in fact ran out of storage on the iPad). I paid for iCloud storage space to add security against loosing my photos through damage or theft of the iPad. This too maxed out early when at 55Gb I learned that I could not get any more iCloud storage. So that back-up method was inadequate. Now I've arrived home with half of my photos backed up on the iCloud, which I am yet to be able to see on the iCloud and the bulk of my photos are on the iPad, which I can see yet can't work out a way of exporting them. All in all I'm feeling like I made a serious mistake getting an Apple product. These are my photos and I just want to copy them across to my PC yet they seem to be imprisoned within the Apple world. I'd appreciate advice as to how to retrieve my photos back to a more user friendly place.
    Thanks, Greg.

FYI - If you go on another trip.
There are some wireless external hard drives that can be used with the iPad.

  • How do I export photos from PHOTO STREAM to my PC?!?!?!

Ok, so I am a Newbie when it comes to iphones, itunes, icloud and what not. And I have a question NO ONE seems to know the answer to.
    iPhone 4s iOS 6.0.1
I want to know how to transfer my Photo Stream (NOT ALBUMS/CAMERA ROLL PICTURES!) to my PC... I delete my album photos when they get too full because I see that it doesn't delete in my Photo Stream. I downloaded the iCloud back up on my PC and I can see the Photo Stream album in my Files but ALOT of pictures are missing!!! How do I get my pictures?! How do I export my PHOTO STREAM?! SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!!

You downloaded an iCloud backup to your PC?  I assume you mean you downloaded your photo stream to your PC.  What you may not know is that photo stream only keeps your photos for 30 days.  After that, they are deleted from photo stream but not from any device that already has them (such as your phone).  When you enabled photo stream on your PC you only had access to photos from the last 30 days since the others are no longer there, even though they remain on your phone.
To transfer these to your computer at this point you have two options:
Save them to the camera roll on your phone (by opening the my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap all the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll.  (You can only import photos to your computer from the Camera Roll album.)  Then import them to your computer as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083; or
Use an app like PhotoSync, which can wirelessly transfer photos from any album between your devices/computers, including the my photo stream album.
In the future, always import your photos from your camera roll to your computer via USB before deleting them.  Don't rely on photo stream or your iCloud backup to save your photos.

  • How can I export photos from my Iphone and show the filming time

I tried to export my photos from my iphone, but the times of them are created time and modified time, how can they show the filming time?

I tried to export my photos from my iphone, but the times of them are created time and modified time, how can they show the filming time?
How are you trying to view the times of the photos? On a Mac you cannot see the capture date of a photo in the or video in the Finder.  The Finder will always show the date the file was created or modified, and not when the photo has been taken. The capture date, when the iPhone took the photo will be encoded in the EXIF tags of the file, and that is different from the file creation. Photo software will show you the EXIF, the Info panel in iPhoto, or the Info panel in Preview.
