How do I export songs or albums to a memory stick to play in my car

Does anyone know how to export to USB stick?

This has nothing to do with iTunes.
iTunes only syncs content to iDevices.
Copy the desired media files to the flash drive the same way any other content would be copied to a flash drive.

  • How can I export songs from my iTunes to a mail program or laptop?

How can I export songs from my iTunes to a mail program/computer? The songs in question are originals composed by my boyfriend in Garage Band. We have full rights to them, but they import into iTunes like all the other artists songs. His hard drive crashed and I have the only copies. I have no access to my iMac for 2 months while we tour our show and we need them on the tour. We are in dire straights if we can not access these songs and the iPad will not hook up to our equipment. Plus we need to add a track to a promotional video. So how can we access our own music?
    Thanks.

If they are in the iPad's Music app then the only way to get them out of it is by connecting the iPad to a computer. As they aren't iTunes purchases you won't be able to copy them back to a computer's iTunes via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases, instead you will need a third-party program on the computer to copy them off - there are some listed half-way down this page which should work: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991

  • How do I export an iPhoto album as a pdf?

How do I export an iPhoto album as a pdf? When I am in the album and go to file --> export, I get each image from the album saved as a separate file. I want to save them all in one file.

Select all of those photos in iPhoto and start a print process.  Select the print size as desired, 8 x 10 or letter size, select the paper size accordingly, and then use the PDF button to select Save as PDF.
That will give you a multipage PDF file with one photo on each page.

  • How do I Export songs?

How do i export songs from my ipod, to itunes? Please respond
      Windows XP

    Check out the instructions/suggestions here.
    Music from iPod to computer.
There's also another method. I've successfully tested this across several different Windows PCs.
Open iTunes and select edit/preferences/advanced/general. Put a check mark in the box marked "copy files to iTunes music folder when adding to library" and also "keep iTunes music folder organized", then click 'ok'.
Connect the iPod whilst holding down the shift/ctrl keys to prevent any auto sync, and if you see the dialogue window asking if you want to sync to this itunes library, click 'no'.
Then go to file/add folder, open 'my computer', select your iPod and click 'ok'.
The music files should transfer to your iTunes.
If this doesn't work (and it may not because officially it's not supposed to), there's Yamipod. This is a free program that transfers music and playlists etc from iPod back to the computer. However, it does not transfer playcounts/ratings etc.
The above methods will depend on what version of iTunes you are running.
I can't vouch that any of them will work with iTunes version 7.

  • How i can export songs from ipod ti itunes?

how i can export songs from ipod ti itunes?
    please i need some informations

If you have any iTMS purchases the transfer of purchased content from the iPod to authorised computers was introduced with iTunes 7. A paragraph on it has been added to this article: Transfer iTunes Store purchases using iPod
The transfer of non iTMS content such as songs imported from CD is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod. However there is a manual method of accessing the iPod's hard drive and copying songs back to iTunes on Windows. The procedure is a bit involved and was written long before iTunes 7 so it requires a little adaptation, also it won't recover playlists but if you're interested it's posted in this thread: MacMuse - iPod to iTunes
If you prefer something more automated then there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. This is just a selection, you'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos and games as well. Have a look at the web pages and documentation, they are generally quite straightforward. You can also read reviews of some of them here: Wired News - Rescue Your Stranded Tunes

Not using the correct structure. Camera's use a very exact structure and the only way the camera will see photos on the card is for them to be in that exact structure

  • I made a movie in iMovie from an imported slideshow. How do I export the movie to burn on a disc to play on a pc

I made a movie in iMovie from an imported slideshow. How do I export the movie to burn on a disc to play on a pc? I burned one copy and it didn't playback properly on the PC. The pictures played extremely slow while the music played

    Hi cortiz58,
    Welcome to the Support Communities!
What version of iMovie are you working with?  Is your end goal that you need to play the file on a Windows computer, or is it that you need to burn the file to DVD?
See this link for tips to re-wrap your file for Windows:

    https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-5781
If you export the iMovie file as a .mov file, you can play it in iTunes for Windows on your PC.
If you want the ability to burn to DVD, then you may consider downloading the free 30 day trial of our professional video application.  Final Cut Pro X can import your iMovie project and burn it to DVD.

  • Maintaining Photo Sequence from An Album To A Memory Stick (Flash Drive)

In iPhoto '11, Mac OS x 10.6.7, I want to copy the precise photo sequence I have in an album to a memory stick, for input into a photo frame (so the photos will play in proper sequence in the photo frame slideshow mode). Problem is the photos exported from the album to the stick lose the sequence I arranged in the album. Within the album I did a batch change and separated the photos by 1 minute, which I thought would "cement" the sequence of the photos from the album to the stick.  Wrong.  The photos exported to the stick kept their original date / time imported (also called modified) and thus did not keep the sequence I established in the album.  FYI, all these photos were originally hard photos and were scanned into iPhoto library and later put into an album - thus the sequence within the album was manually arranged because the original input scanning was random.  So, now that I have nicely sequenced photos within an album, how do I export and maintain the sequence from an album onto a stick?
    Thanks,
    H

The photos exported to the stick kept their original date / time imported (also called modified) and thus did not keep the sequence I established in the album.
When you modify the date of the Photos in iPhoto you change the Exif metadata of the shot. This is standard photo metadata and how every photo app tracks the date and time of the photograph.
When you export to the Finder (as you do when you send them to the memory stick) it uses File metatada to sort. This is not the same as Exif and the Finder doesn't work with Exif.
So this trick won't work for you. You need to use something that the Finder understands and will sort on
Here's one (of several) way(s) to do what you want:
Set your photos in the order you want
Then Photos Menu: Batch Change -> Set Title to Text "John's Birthday", for instance, and tick the box to append a number to each Photo. Now your photos are titled 'John's Birthday 001, John's Birthday 002 ... etc'
Then File -> Export and in the Export dialogue set the Filename to "Use Title"
Sort on Filename in the FInder and you end up with a folder full of images in the same order as the Album in iPhoto.

  • How to I transfer a photo file to a memory stick

How to I transfer a photo file to a memory stick so that I can use the USB in a photo frame?

First the USB stick needs to be formatted in a format the frame can see. That is usually FAT32, the Windows and mostly Universal format (It probably already is formatted like that).
Next is what photo cataloging and editing program are you using? If it is iPhoto you need to Export the image or images you want to place on that card/stick. Not sure how that is done exactly as I don't use iPhoto but it is one of the menu item options (Could be under the File menu item).
Then during the export it should ask you where you want to exprt them TO. you would browse to the USB stick and select it. If it Auto places them on your dekstop then use Finder to coy and paste them from your desktop to the USB stick. Or you can try Drag & Drop (I personally never use that as I've never like it) from the Desktop to the USB stick.

  • HT3149 How do I export my iphoto album in the same order that it appears onto a flash drive or dvd?

How do I export one of my albums in iphoto in the same order that it appears onto a flash drive or dvd?

Remember that the FInder does not have the same sorting options that iPhoto has - no manual sorting for instance. So
File -> Export and in the resulting dialogue note the options for Naming Files
Album Name with Number will give you what you want.

  • How do I transfer songs from albums, artists etc to playlist on iPhone 4S

I'm sure it's easy, so hope someone can assist.
Just wanting to move selected songs from albums/artists/songs to playlist.
    Any tips would be appreciated.

All of your apps should be on your computer.  If they are not, then put them there.
You can then sync them to any of your devices that you like.

  • How do I EXPORT songs from iPhone to iMac?

Trying to free up space on iPhone by exporting songs BACK to iMac iTunes Library.

If you have the songs already in your iTunes library, just delete them from your phone.
You can't move music from an iPhone to iTunes.  Only from iTunes to an iDevice.  Apple requires this to keep people from sharing music.
Any song you purchased from iTunes will be available to download again later.
