How do I figure out what AppleID an app is associated with

Hi,
I hav a game on my iPhone4s that I am trying to make an in game purchase with but it will not let me because it states that this app is not associated with my AppleID. I have two AppleIDs and I have tried to use both of them. I have logged out of one and into the in the settings app/iTunes and game center, but I still get the dame message with both IDs. I do not know what ID it could be associated with. The inly device I have installed this game on is this iPhone. I do not want to uninstall and reinstall the game because I am afraid I will lose all of my progress. Is there away to have the game associated woth my AppleID without losing all of my progress?
Thanks

how can i figure out what device downloaded certain apps?

One way is to remove all apps and then reinstall a few at a time while watching the "Other" memory indicator, but this will cause a loss of any data the apps are storing, like files, high scores, settings, etc.
I don't know of an 'electronic' way of find this out.

  • My iTunes is no longer working.  I uninstalled and reinstalled but the program won't open and run.  I was trying to download an mp3 file last evening and I think something has been deleted that I need to open the iTunes.  How do i figure out what is gone

I uninstalled and reinstalled but the program still won't open.  I was trying to download an mp3 file last evening.  Instead the site tried to install a new audio player.  I did not want it so uninstalled it immediately.  I think in that process something was deleted that I need for iTunes but I do not know what.  How do i figure out what is gone and recover it?
I did try a system restore - but that was not a fix either.

Ackk ... that behavior is consistent with the play_mp3.exe trojan:

Try downloading and installing the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware. Update your MBAM definitions and then run a full scan of the PC. (Takes about 2 hour on my Lenovo.)

Does the scan find any infections? If so, please paste the contents of the log file for the scan in a reply here so we can have a look.

  • HT204053 how do I figure out what my icloud id is if it isn't my apple id?

how do I figure out what my icloud id is if it isn't my apple id?

Your iCloud ID is your Apple ID, but to use the Apple ID as an iCloud ID you need to enable it first (set it up) on a Mac or iOS device.
    See
Creating an iCloud account: Frequently Asked Questions
Set up iCloud on all your devices
iCloud Control Panel 2.1.1 for Windows
As hinted in the title of this question (HT4895) you can use a different Apple ID for iCloud, but it would still have to be an iCloud enabled Apple ID and it's preferred to not have multiple Apple IDs.

  • How can I figure out what my password is and keep it unlocked?  Every time I do a system update, it requires the password and sends me into cyber trouble with the remember my keychain access, requiring it every time I log in.  A real hassle to be avoided

How can I find out what my password on the computer is?  I had to change it due to my teenagers helping themselves, and now every time there is a system update, I have to have the password, which I cannot remember or find.  It then wants it every time I log in and pops up Key Chain Access as well.  Very annoying.  I do not have the disc to reload it and fear I would loose everything on my computer as there is also trouble with the back up system.  Too many issues and not enough solutions.  Many thanks in advance!

I do not have the disc to reload
Why not?  You need your system dvds to troubleshoot & to reset/change passwords in view of your current OS listed in your  profile.
You can get replacement System Install & Restore CD/DVDs from Apple's Customer Support - in the US, (800) 767-2775 - for a nominal S&H fee. You'll need to have the model and/or serial number of your Mac available.
If you're not in the US, you may need to go through the regional Apple Store that serves your location to find the contact number. Here's a list of links to all of those - http://store.apple.com/Catalog/US/Images/intlstoreroutingpage.html Another resource:  International Support Phone #s.

I have to have the password, which I cannot remember or find.
When selecting passwords, make sure it's one that you will NEVER forget AND no one else can figure out.
Old school--- > Print it out & keep in a safe place.  A place that ONLY you know about AND never forget.
New school---> Get a password manager utility.  Highly recommend 1Password which is shareware.  Do a Google search for free password managers.

I got the hard drive upgrade kit and now have the old drive in the On-The-Go-Pro external enclosure and the new drive in the Macbook Pro. I booted from the old drive and now I'm ready to restore to the new drive using Disk Utility but I'm not sure exactly what to select as the Source and Destination.
Three disks are listed in the left frame. The new Samsung disk, the old drive in the OTGPro external enclosure with a volume called "Macintosh HD" and something called "disk 2" with a volume of Mac OS X Base System under it.
I think I should select "Macintosh HD" as the source and the Samsung Drive as the destination. But I'm not certain.
What's the correct source and destination?

  • How do I find out what accounts are authorized to sync with my iPod?

I'm trying to download a video onto my iPod classic, but I keep getting a message saying it won't download because the iPod can only contain information from five different accounts. But when I checked how may accounts were authorized, iTunes said there were only two accounts out of the available five that were authorized. I really want this movie on my iPod but I'm not sure where to go from here?

"How do I find out what computers are authorized to use my Store Account? "
The ones that you authorized.  There is no list.
"Do my iPhones count towards the 5?"
    No.
    ONLY computers count.

  • How can i figure out what my pin number is?

i need my pin number but don't remember what it is how can I figure this out?

josh0921, I know that being without your PIN can be quite the hassel. Just to be sure, are you referring to your billing account password or are you referring to a PIN used to unlock the device? If this is regarding your billing PIN when calling into customer service that cannot be changed, but can certainly be updated after completeing secondary verification over the phone. If you need to reach out customer service you can give them a call at 800-922-0204.  http://vz.to/XNtW61
