How do I filter Notes out of my Inbox view?

I have 4 email accounts in Apple Mail (Lion version), one of them being iCloud, and I generally look at them all at once from "Inbox." How do I keep my Notes (in iCloud) out of my Inbox view? I can see the notes under "Notes" under "Reminders" on the left-hand side, I don't need to see it again in my Inbox. It just makes it look cluttered and interferes with how I mentally and visually process my email.
Is there a way to do this that won't hose my Notes in the first place?

Go to Preferences… > Accounts > selct the account > Mailbox Behaviours and there's an option there to see Notes in your inbox or not.

How do I HIDE "Notes" from my Main Message Viewer Window

Old "Notes" are cluttering up my Inbox views in the main mail message viewer window.
The yellow pad "Notes" feature in Mail is helpful, but every time I create a new note - which I may well want to keep around for a long time - the note title etc appears in my active message inbox viewer window. How can I turn off the apparently default display of notes with the content of my normal in boxes ??
There is a separate "Notes" folder created by the Mail .app under the heading of "REMINDERS" - I want my "Notes" titles to be visible only when I click that notes folder itself and not with all my incoming (new) messages.

I guess when you write the software to work exactly the way you want, you might be able to say that. Unfortunately for you, you didn't write the software and there is currently no way to get that behavior.

How can I remove Notes from my iCloud Inbox?

I have just enabled iCloud Mail on my Mac. As might be expected, my iCloud Notes started showing up in my iCloud Inbox. However, when I go to Accounts ==> iCloud ==> Mailbox Behaviors ==> Notes, and uncheck "Show notes in Inbox", attempt to exit, and select "Save changes...", I receive a pop-up message "Invalid Incoming Mail Server The 'Incoming Mail Server' field cannot be empty." Currently, the Incoming Mail Server field has an entry (not sure if I should write it out here) which is grayed out, and seems as though it can't be changed.
Previously, I was able to remove the Notes from my POP3 Inbox without a problem.

You could manage your connected devices in iTunes on your computer: Menu bar: Store > Account > iTunes in the Cloud > Manage Devices. Here you could remove connected devices from your account.

Response completely written by servlet - how can a filter find out?

i am working on a servlet filter and i need to wait for the whole response to be written by the underlying servlet before the filter can start processing it.
it's no problem, if the servlet closes the stream or writer at the end of the service method.
But if it does not like in the following snippet, i am in trouble :-/
out.println("html, html, html");
out.println("</html>");
// NO out.close();
So my question is, is there any possibilty to check for the end of the service-method or something like that?
It seems to be quite common, not to explicitely close the stream. even the most basic servlet tutorials don't do it very often. so i guess, i have to deal with this case.

I keep getting loads of junk mail, how can I filter it out

I still get loads of junk mail, I think I am using the filtering correctly, is there an app out there that can help to cut it out. It just clogs up my mail and mail does not seem to learn what is junk mail and what isn't.

The next item of junk mail you receive, go to the Mail menu bar click Message / Mark As Junk Mail.

To change the junk mail filter:
Choose Mail > Preferences and click Junk Mail.
Specify which actions Mail should perform when junk mail arrives:
When you want to verify what Mail is identifying as junk mail, select the “Mark as junk mail, but leave it in my Inbox” checkbox.
When you are sure the filter is accurately identifying junk mail, select the “Move it to the Junk mailbox” checkbox.
To set up other actions, select the “Perform custom actions” checkbox and then click the Advanced button. In the dialog that appears, click Add buttons to add conditions and actions. To remove a condition or action, click its Remove button.
NOTE:To use the junk mail database when identifying junk mail, make sure “Message is Junk Mail” is one of the conditions (it’s specified by default). Otherwise, Mail uses only the conditions listed to identify junk mail.

I keep getting exact duplicate songs in playlists and libraries, how can you filter this out when upgrading these lists, or sync to the same device again? And how to do it without going through each and every P'list or Library ?

I have Windows XP-Pro SP3, the latest upgrades of Three media players, iTunes being the default player. I keep getting duplicates in playlists, libraries etc., of the same version of song. Everytime i make a change or renew my media to device or SYNC it wants to add duplicates to the computer disk, lists etc. Can you filter out same copies without having to edit each and every song, which in my case is quite large. For instance if you want to convert all mpeg, or mp4-a files to AAC you will end up with duplicates of each file type. Or you sync to an ipod, the library adds to itself---- including copies of songs already in it, if in a different file version.

This will always duplicate files within iTunes. I need to ask why you're doing this conversion - all formats are compatible with iTunes, and conversion between mp3 and AAC will always involve some loss of quality.

How do I get "Notes" out of "Mail?"

When Notes from my iPhone started showing up in my desktop Mail program, I thought it was a glitch in MobileMe.
Now that I've switched to Lion and iCloud, I've notice that this is not a glitch, some idiot designed it that way.
I use Notes for things like shopping lists, to keep track of where I parked my car, what size dog collar my friends father's dog needs, etc. I don't need these bits and pieces in my inbox– they're in my iPhone in my pocket, just where they belong.

I use mac mail on my network, when i file it into a folder is stays in my inbox, how do i get it out of my inbox?

Are they Smart Folders? Smart Folders don't actually hold e-mail messages, but reflect what is filed elsewhere.

Getting Notes out of my Inbox

I've just started using the Notes feature in Mail. I have created two notes. They show up in two places - in the Notes folder and in my Inbox. I don't want them in my Inbox but when I delete them they disappear from the Notes folder as well. I' sure this is a simple matter but I haven't been able to find the answer using the help resources or website.

Open Mail preferences, then click on the Accounts icon in the toolbar. Select the Mailbox Behaviors tab. Uncheck the box to display notes in the Inbox.

How to outer join within a view link from (VO-VL-VO)

I've got a table that stores the values of pre-defined attributes.
I'd like to create an advancedTable region that shows all of the attributes with or without values, in my view object i have....

This is working, but a have another view object that is the master and this is the details.
How can I do an outer join on the view link from master to detail? A simple (+) in the where condition does not do the trick.
If I try anything fancy within the view link, I get a JBO-27122.

Understand the concept of VL. Vl is nothing but a link between two VOs, with one VO row column serve as binding column for another VO.If u understand this u go to VL wizard and make VL declaratively. If not, refer to dev guide to know about VL.

Apple Mail Notes cluttering up my inbox

Ever since I upgraded to leopard, a copy of each note is appearing in my inbox. If I delete it, it also deletes the copy in my Reminder mailbox. How do I get them out of my inbox? It is cluttering all my email up.

OK, this is bugging the crap out of me. So, the preference to On My Mac is set. I have deleted out of Inboxes and dragged into On My Mac. The check boxes for all 3 of my accounts are un-checked for showing notes but guess what? All 3 re-check themselves and move the frickin' notes back to the Inboxes - infuriating. I swear, sometimes it feels like Apple is really not paying any attention to this app. Don't let that bloated pig of an Outlook app show you guys up just because you are not giving things enough love. Attention to detail people - that's what you are known for! Sorry for being such a *****.
