How do I find a copy of installer image of 10.7.5?

I want to create a emergency Bootable USB drive for recovery procedure. My system can't be upgraded above 10.7.5 since it is 32 bit system (Mac Pro) so I can't just upgrade the OS.
I've searched for .dmg files on my system but I must have deleted it.
What would be my backup procedure if this system should crash if a image of 10.7.5 can't be located? Would an older 10.6.x DVD work? (I still have an old original DVD)

Apple sends invoices for iTunes Store, the App Store, and the online Apple Store by email. Apple Retail stores will email invoices as well, as long as you give them your email address when you buy something.

I'd do it this way:
1. Grab the document's allPageItems.
2. Iterate over it, ignoring text frames.
3. Check to see: (a) if the parent is a character and (b) if the graphics collection of the page item is empty. If so, delete it.

How do I find my copied files in iTunes music folder in library?

I've got a very large iTunes library and tell where my copied music files are in my iTunes folder. How can I tell the original from the copy? Are they in seperate folders, within a folder, how can I tell within my insane library what's what? Don't want to end up erasing originals as I'm trying to free up memory.

If you want to free up your memory, maybe first checking to see if you got duplicates. -
From the File menu in iTunes, choose Show Duplicates. iTunes will then list all of the duplicate titles in your library.
If you delete a music in the iTunes folder, then when you try to play that particular music in your iTunes, it won't work as iTunes wouldn't be able to find it. However, when you import music on to your computer, always import straight into your iTunes, no where else.

How do I find whatever a "J2SE Installation" is?

The raptor script (on Fedora Core 4 Linux) asks me to "Type the full pathname of a J2SE installation". I have searched for anything beginning with J2SE or j2se and come up empty.
I have also installed the Sun JDK and provided the path to tht installation, to which the script replies "Error: Java home /usr/java/jdk1.5.0_06/jre/bin/java is not a J2SE SDK.
Running Oracle Raptor 1.0 under a JRE is not supported."
I have Enterprise 10gR2 installed on this host.
How do I locate this "J2SE Installaion", and if its not installed, where do I get it?

How do I find and copy all pictures to a thumb drive

we have several old mac lap tops - I'd love to restore them all since they are getting SLOW. How do I ensure I grab all movies and pictures and transfer to either a CD or thumb drive before restoring. I'm nervous that I might delete / lose data. There is alot in the PHOTOBOOTH as well - not sure what those files are called (tif or jpeg)

You can clone the respective HDDs using Disk Utility>Restore or Carbon Copy Cloner. That will guarantee that you have all images and movies backed up.

I have a number of old After Effects project that I would like to open and render. I currently own AE CS6, which will not open the old AE projects I would like to use. When I try to open the projects, depending upon the age of it, I will get an on-screen error message that informs me that AE CS6 will not open the project and that I should use AE4.1, 5.1 or 5.5, depending on the project. I created these projects while working for a company that is now out of business, so I do not have access to earlier versions of AE to install on my computer.
Is there a way to obtain versions of AE that old? Does Adobe have them in some archives somewhere? I have read that AE 7 may be the version to get that could open up AE projects that were produced around 2000-2003.
The reason I am trying to access those old projects is that I am now a graphic design instructor at a college in California. I am teaching a Motion Design class in the fall, which is basically an After Effects class. I would like to show my students some of my past work as instructional examples. The projects include national broadcast design, national commercials, documentaries that were produced for Discovery Channel, and animation tests for feature films.

It sounds like not all your purchases transferred to your computer before your restored your iPod touch. I found an article with some steps to download your past iTunes purchases.
