How do I find a Dreamweaver Freelancer?

I am an animator in New York. I need to put up two websites. I have all the artwork ready to go but I don't want to take the time to learn Dreamweaver CS4 - which I have. How do I find someone in the area who can do this for me?

In this day and age, the designer doesn't even have to live in the same hemisphere :-) The majority of my clients are all overseas and I have never met them in real life. Communication via skype now allows anyone to either phone or chat in real time with the added bonus of being able to upload files etc.
If you want to be personally involved in the process and would prefer face to face meetings, then yes, the option would be to look in your local phone book and search for web design/development companies.
If you want them to specifically use Dreamweaver, then ask them directly when you contact them.
I'm sure there are many freelancers who participate in this very forum who would be happy to help you create your site.
I suppose there are other places like craiglist, but I'd be very wary about the quality of work you would get produced there, considering some of the pricing I've seen listed.

If it's registered, you would just log into your Adobe account and it will be listed there under Applications and Subscriptions.
Otherwise, it's either on your installation disk, or in the original email (which you printed and saved for future use, right?) that you got when you purchased the download from your online retailer of choice.
If none of the above, you're probably stuck, Adobe no longer supports CS4.

I have download that file already. But somehow it does not show up on the "local site folder" when i want to save it as in the tutorial video suggest....
Do i need to do anything else before that to save it.???

How do I find the FTP info for my site?

I created a site with Wix.com. Since then I've been exploring Dreamweaver, and the author of "Dreamweaver for Dummies" suggets that the best way to make changes to my existing site is to use Dreamweaver's FTP capabailities to download the existing pages. But Wix doesn't support FTP -- so they tell me, and simpleurl.com (where I regeistered my domain name) and which is somehow involved in the posting of my site) can't help either. Here's the Dreamweaver page that I need to fill in.

Yup, it's basically free, altho you can upgrade a little, as I've done.
And I took
a careful look at the "source" for the pages I've created. That code will
show
nothing of what I've written -- text-wise. It's all stored on the Wix
servers
and accessed with various scripts. You can re-locate your Wix-created site
after 60 days -- not before. So the suggestion I got from the "...Dummies"
book doesn't apply here.
Nonetheless, I'm going to continue to learn how to use Dreamweaver. Maybe
after my 60 days are up I'll wanna move it. Don't know.

How do I find, at-a-glance, the sample size used in several music files?
Of all the fields available in a FInder Search, "Sample Size" is not available. Finder does offer a "Bits per Sample" field, but it only recognized graphic files and not music files.
Running 10.8.5 on an iMac i5.
I did search through a couple of communities but came up empty.

There is no View Option to allow display of a column of sample size.
For WAV or Apple Lossless files, it is available on the Summary tab (one song at a time, as you know). For MP3 and AAC it is not available at all.
You can roughly infer it from the files that are larger than expected for their time.
99% of the music we use is at the CD standard of 16-bit, so I can guess that displaying it has never been a priority. However, if you want to make a suggestion to Apple, use this link:

It was Love Actually. It's been in my library a few years but is now missing. It's odd...it isn't even in the iTunes Store anymore. I recently migrated my extensive library from a Mac authorized with both my and my ex-husband's id's to a Windows 8 machine only authorized with my id. I am finding that a good portion of the apps and tracks are still only authorized by his. How do I find these so I can delete them from my library? Finding them 1 by 1 has been VERY tedious. I have seen a script for the Mac to do this, but no solutions for Windows.

It doesn't sound like the Exchange environment is configured in a manner to support these types of clients very well. Have your Exchange team look at the following

You might want to:
Ask your Exchange team the public URLs (ExternalURL) for Exchange OWA & ActiveSync
Open the OWA URL in your Internet Explorer from your Surface
If you get a Certificate warning, open the certificate and select Install (NOTE: You may have to install the entire certificate chain). Your desktop support team should be able to support this because it is the SAME process for standard Windows 8x
desktops.
Confirm that you can open OWA on your surface with no more certificate or security warnings. NOTE: The Exchange team will have to configured OWA properly.
Once confirmed, repeat the same steps for the activesync URL that they provided.
When done, try using the OWA OR ActiveSync URL value in your settings of your Mail client.

How do I find the cookies I want to keep

Recently I asked for some help but I think my request has got lost.
I had beenadvised to save the cookies I want to keep but this is beyond me.
My question is how do I find the cookie I want to keep? It is a cookie for an ebook and I have no idea what it is.
Will deleting all other cookies mean that it will also delete my passwords and log ins on several sites? I don't want this to happen.
Which brings me to the last point - You say that if I list exceptions to cookies I want to keep (at least I think that is what you mean), how do I find all those cookies?
Again, sorry for troubling you but until I can find out more about the cookies, I don't want to delete these in case I delete the wrong ones, such as the ebook.

Thank you so much for the above. It will be of great help in telling me where to go. But my problem is that if I can find cookies, I don't know which ones I want to keep. Are they labelled with the sites they refer to? If so that will help me. Apart from one which is the cookie I need to get to my online ebook, I guess there are cookies for the various passwords I have saved?

I typically have several open Preview files at any one time and often forget where, sometimes if, I saved them. In Mountain Lion, how do I find the location of an open Preview File? Tried holding option + command in spotlight but I don't see a path name appear anywhere.

Yes, cmd-option on a file you choose in Spotlight and the path will appear at the bottom of the Preview window.
EDIT: Also, if it is bookmarked the path is in Bookmarks.

How do I find what is taking up all the space in my iMovie library?

If I find the my iMovie library in Finder, it's total size is a reported 15.59GB and, as far as I can tell, I cannot open it in Finder to see what files are taking up that space.
If I look at my iMovie library in iMovie, it apparently contains one event, which contains one movie.
If I select the move as then go to File -> Reveal in Finder, I can see all the folders and files associated with the event and they come to a grand total of 5.95 GB.
So, how do I find out what movies, clips or projects are taking up the other ~ 10GB in the iMovie library folder?
I'm using iMovie 10.0.5

When I did that, I could still only see the same contents as shown in the third screenshot above. However, minutes after doing the "Show package contents", iMovie seems to have figured out that it didn't have 15GB of data in its library after all and updated its size accordingly. So, problem solved for now but I still find iMovie to be painful to use and I will probably avoid doing so as much as I can.

How do I find music I want by sample?

There is a sample of music in YouTube. I want to find more of the same by that sample. So how do I find more?
The sample is of laser harp play, but I am interested in the sound of it. The sound is deep and metallic, vibrating, almost menacing, mysterious at least. It is kind of space music, but I want that deep metallic vibrating sound, not just whatever space music. The music doesn't need to be as happy as in the sample, I would like it more deep, mean, and mysterious too. The music can be ambient or then have more detail to it. But it shouldn't be bass booming, which I hate.

Well, he does all kinds of space music songs like below in the link. That doesn't help much, because I want only music that has the metallic vibrating sound. The sound should play major role in the songs. I want to be able to find music by the sample, not searching through music I don't need. Also I would like to get other artists' music too, not only this one's.
