How do I find all of one color in a line drawing and replace it with another color?
Greetings, I'd like to replace this goat-puke green color with "black."
I have tried everything, but can't find the right command. I'm sure that nothing could be easier, but I'm stumped and will probably smack myself in the head when I see the answer. lol Please help.

Ctrl-shift-u (windows) cmd-shift-u(mac) - desaturates
ctrl-i(windows) cmd-i(mac) - inverts
ctrl-l(windows) cmd-l(mac) - levels
In the levels dialog box there are three triangles in the middle window, drag the far left triangle towards the right until your text is completely black. Oh yeah this also takes your black background and makes it white BTW the effect of the invert command.

My new apps have changed to try within creative cloud; and my installed apps will not authenticate. I recently canceled one subscription and replaced it with another. Can you please look at it and correct?
Solution for Windows 8.1: Locate the C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE folder. Log out of Creative Cloud and from Task Manager end task for Creative Cloud. From the OOBE folder delete ALL files. Do not delete folders (com.adobe.accc.apps & com.adobe.accc.home). When complete, restart Creative Cloud and log in with ID and Password.

The easiest way would be to go to menu>settings>accounts & sync, select the account (I'm assuming you're referring to your gmail account, so select google), then press the remove account button at the bottom. You may lose all your contacts and other data associated with your google account, possibly even your apps, so be aware of this beforehand. You can then add the new account from the accounts & sync menu.
If you are willing to completely start over with your phone, another alternative would be to factory reset it (menu>settings>privacy>factory data reset). This will return your phone to an out-of-the-box condition, and you can use a different gmail address if you like. -

There are many tool and "tricks" to accomplish this manipulation. However, depending on the image one technique might be more appropriate than an other. And then there is the question of how to do it "skillfully". For example, the shadows in the person that is being substituted might be different than in the original image creating the obviously "photoshopped" look.

I got LR3 with my Leica M9. Now I sold my M9 and I'm waiting for the next Leica M to arrive in the next few months. Since LR is more or less part of the Leica-Software, I sold it with it and for the time, while I waiting for the next M, I bought a new LR-License.
Now I want to give the buyer of my camera the license number for the LR3, that came with the M9 and the LR4-update to it, so he can use it with the camera.
My problem is now, that I can not unregister the license-number in my Adobe-account for the old LR. How do I do that? After unregistering I want to install my new LR, that just arrived today and register it, but I'm afraid, that I have two registered LR4 versions then and can't give the solde one to the buyer of the camera.

WalterCheck the apps in question to be sure they don't say "paused"; if they do, tap them and select stop. Then try again. If they don't, I'm not sure what the problem is. FYI, one my older apps also took quite a while to finally update earlier today...just waited it out and it finally did.

hi, I am currently modifying a hand analyser for a poker game. imagine a hand of a set of cards that can be from 5 up to whatever the game instructs, the analyser then has to match the hand to the rankings of best hands. so it has to map the hand to these possible besthands..
Royal Flush (A,K,Q,J,10 of same suit)
Straight flush(a running rank of same suit)
4 of a kind(er... 4 of the same rank)
full house(3 of a kind and a pair)
flush(all same suit)
straight(a running rank, A,2,3,4,5...,K)

the hand is sorted in ranks and suits to check for straights and flushes, and i have used a for loop to find any pairs, trips and quads for a hand. the problem i am having is the checking of two pairs. here is the loop i am using

in an example, consider a 7 card hand being passed to this analyser..
3d, 7h, Ac, 3h, 6h, 7s, Kd. this gets sorted into ranks and become Ac, Kd, 7s, 7h, 6h, 3d, 3h. the first check would be the royal flush - lets ignore the way it works, and it fails anyway because the hand doesnt hold a royal flush, similarly, all the other tests will fail, from straight flush, 4 of a kind, full house, flush, straight, 3 of a kind and then we get to 2 pairs. in the first instance the loop will check Ac == K, it fails, and checks if the temp hand has 4, it fails and goes to i =2. it will check K to 7, fail and go to i = 3, 7h matches 7s, so puts that to temp, temp now equal 2, but not 4, so loops. this is where i messes up. it doesnt pick up the two pairs of 3s. any suggestions?I've never played poker so I had to look carefully at your question. This resulted in the following table. This suggests to me that any attempt at simplification will not be easy so I think I would have an analyser object with nine methods returning a boolean as to whether each test had been met. This seems a cleaner approach although it may be less efficient than your own.

I am going to pass my MBP to a friend and I'm trying to erase all my personal data. I didn't find a better solution as to delete myself as an old User and create a brand new User with administrator rights. I wonder if my AppStore applications as well as some programs such as MS Office, Photoshop, etc. will still be available for a new user.
Licensing on those programs belong to you and are not directly transferable. The correct way to do this is by reinstalling the OS and shutting the Mac off before first start, so the new user can register his info.

Lost & Found
Create a playlist called Found, select everything in Music and drag it into the Found playlist (it may take some time to count the tracks that are to be dropped). Create a smart playlist called Lost matching All the rules Playlist is Music and Playlist is not Found. Your lost tracks will be in this playlist.
Optional: It depends a bit on why things aren't where iTunes expects to find them but if they are in sensible Artist & Album folders in some common location then my FindTracks script should be able to reconnect them to iTunes. FindTracks uses some fuzzy matching routines and searches for multiple potential locations. For more details see this thread. Once you have repaired the tracks that can be found you can drag the contents of the Lost playlist into Found which will update things.
Or, you can simply delete all the tracks in the Lost playlist with Ctrl-A to select them and then Shift-Delete to delete.

My kids had 2 games of clash of clans on 1 game centre. Now I can only see one? How can I find the other one?
My daughter set up a game centre on her ipad. My son, on his ipad used the same game centre log in. He then set up his own game of clash of clans. After my son set up his Clash of Clans, my daugher set up her own Clash of Clans using the same game centre log in on her ipad. Both were using the Clash of Clans successfully on their own ipads using the same game centre log in.
One day my son signed into someone elses Clash of Clans, since then he is unable to go back to his Clash of Clans and can only see his sisters.
Please let me know if this can be resolved.
We wish to delete my daughters Clash of Clans - as she does not use it at all. We would like to regain access to my sons.
My son can visit his Clash of Clans - his clan name is 'The Big Boys' He has a shield that is blue with a yellow lightning from top right to bottom left. His name is Fat Poo (I know ridiculous).

I may be a bit behind the times: I am used to tabbed browsing showing all the tabs it possibly can, instead of just the last one. Sometimes it won't even show the last tab: I can have 15 tabs open, and not see a single tab. I've been confused by this into closing a window with lots of tabs open, because it looks like a single page-window.
My main problem with the tab-bar flashing to the end of the row is that it means a great deal more mouse-clicking around to browse.
I haven't tried installing the latest beta. Maybe that would fix the problem.

How can I find the location of an i-pod shuffle, nano and touch that i have synced to my account? I have had each one stolen and would be so relieved if i could track there location as I know they are still in the county I live.
Also if i cant locate them can i at least remotely delete the libraries, and lock them so they are unusable to the thiefs, and i had a sony laptop worth £2000 stolen which I had used my apple account for a year is there anyway i can track that or retrieve the contents and delete them?

For the iPod touch if you turned on the FindMyiPod feature and wifi is on and connected yu may be ablt ot locate it and wipe it by going to iCloud, signing in and going to FindMyiPhone. However, if the iPOd is rectored that feature is deleted.
Report to police and change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod. -
How do I find all of the photos that do NOT contain a specific person tag?
I am scanning my old photos and slides and organizing them with Photoshop Elements 12. I have recently started taging the pictures with family names. I see from this forum that I can search for untagged pictures but how can I find all the pictures that do NOT contain the "Smith" family tag but might contain the "Jones" family tag? Some pictures will be marked with more than one family name. The "Find by Details" option defaults to "includes" for keywords and people. There is no way to set it to "not includes".
I am running PSE12 on Windows 7 Professional on a Dell XPS desktop.

The workaround is often to create a temporary tag for pictures not having a given keyword. Even with a very big catalog, tagging nearly all images is astonishly quick. You select based on the keyword, then use the option to show 'non matching' items, and assign them another (negative) keyword. -

I'm afraid I don't quite understand your question. All images are in your Library and only those you specifically select from that Library would be in an Album. What platform are you using? Revel Mac, Elements, web browser, etc?
