HELP! How to get 103K messages in TRASH back to proper folders

I just deleted all 103,000 messages in MAIL to make space on my laptop. I use gmail and never look at MAIL. However, I didn't realize that doing so would delete them from Gmail as well! They are all still in the trash as far as I can tell. I know I could zap them all back to my inbox, but I NEED them to go back to the perfectly organized 15 or so folders from which they came. Just add the 'admin' mailbox as additional account in Outlook, as opposed to additional mailbox (i.e. don't add it from Accounts Settings -> More settings -> Advanced, but from File -> Add account instead).
It will then show flagged items and tasks from all accounts in the 'To-do' list.

We were able to call using "most recent call" in Facetime, but now I can't go and control that new iMac remotely to help with some email concerns the user is having. I'm trying to not personalize this too much, but it's grandkids talking to Grandma and Mom and Dad trying to solve new machine hiccups. Normally, I could just go in via iChat and control the other machine and troubleshoot, but I can't do it with Facetime only. My buddy list doesn't see the other computer even though we are connected on Facetime right now. My name is not highlighted for the other computer. What could have gone so wrong?

Check out the documentation on "expire". Since I don't know what version Messaging server you're running, how can I point you to the right documentation?
Both Messaging 5.2 and 6.2 have a way to automatically expire messages.

How do i find out what is backed up to my internal hard drive

i backed up all my movies to an external hard drive to save space on my macbook air but when looking at the storeage space i see that there is still alot of space taken up from backups. I have time machine set up so my macbook backups to my external hard drive, i need to see what all is backed up on my internal hard drive so i can edit what is important and what isnt. So how do i find out what is backed up on my internal hard drive.

How do I find and access files backed up using a time capsule on a different mac?

I have been backing up files from two macs to a time capsule. I had a problem with the time capsule and took it to an authorized facility for repair. When I got it home and reconnected to it, the time capsule seemed to start over as though it was the first time it was ever hooked-up. The repair facility says my old files are still there. My question is, how do I find the original backup files and reconnect them to my macs?

On one of your Macs.....try a right-click on the Time Machine icon on the dock and then select Browsel Other Time Machine Disks to see if you can locate your backups there.
If you find them, you will be able to restore files from the disk as needed. The same would be true of your other Mac.
If Time Machine started all over with a new backup of each computer....as I suspect is the case based on the info in your post.....you will not be able to combine the old backups with the new backups.
To switch back to your new backups, click the Time Machine clock icon at the top of the screen and select Time Machine Preferences. Click Select Disk and click to highlight your Time Capsule disk. Then click Use for Backup.

I gave my old iphone to my technophobic mum. She used it happily until it died early this year. I gave her another iphone, but I think that I set it up as a new iphone on her itunes account. she has been using it for a few weeks, but can't send MMS messages. I got her to plug it into her computer & itunes prompts her to set up as new iphone or restore from last back up, (which it says was nov 2014). However she has messages & photos on this new iphone. Can I merge all her new messages & photos with the old back-up messages & photos & have them all?

I wish to be able to do unattended screen sharing over the internet (remote, not local network). I can't seem to see my remote computer on the finder as a shared device. Both computers (Macs) have correct settings in sys pref with screen sharing on and all users set. Is this also what is known as back to my mac, and if not, what is it. All my spreadsheets in numbers and files in pages have disappeared! Does anyone know how I can find them / get them back?

I had a substantial amount of spreadsheets on my iPad mini and the numbers app as well as a substantial number of pages documents in the pages app. The key word there was had! All my files have disappeared. And on top of that every time I go into preferences to turn on the cloud option it keeps turning itself off. I am trying to congigure through
Windows>Preferences>SAP J2EE engine -- Remote.
I have these questions.
1. How can i find Message server Host?
2. How can i find Message server Port?
3. How can i find SDM port?
4. What is the difference betweent the Message server port and SDM port? Both are same or can be different?
5. What are the ways to deploy a ear file on remote J2EE engine ?
6.Can I run SDM from a remote mechine and connect to the server?
7. When i am trying to deploy a ear file i am getting
"Cannot determine sdm host (is empty)" what is the possible reason.
(Here i used information from /usr/sap/GXI/DVEBMGS00/j2ee/cluster/instance.properties for server host and port number)

How do i find out if the server admin daemon is running

Hi All,
I've got an OS X server that for some reason ( probably due to me pratting around) has decided not to have a working server admin prog. I can fire up the client program and point it at any of the IP addresses that the server is looking at and then you get an error message basically saying that the server admin daemon is not contactable.
So ...
1). How can i find out if the back end daemon is running
2). what port(s) does it listen on
3). How can I turn on some logging to see what's happening when I run serve admin
4). Any other tips as to how to find out why its not working

Contacts and other infomration in the backup file are in a special file format. You would not be able to access them with standard programs. Also, contacts are not backed up that well, you should sync them to a supported application on the computer, such as Address Book, Windows Contacts, Outlook. That gives you acess to them, or you could use iCloud or another cloud service.This support document will tell you where the backup is. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4946
