How do I find music gifted to me?

I gifted a single song to my girlfriend but I don't see anywhere in iTunes for accessing music gifted to you... If you have to click on an email then I am truly disappointed in Apple for this 90's functionality.

She will receive an email on the email account that you sent the gift to, it should have a redeem link in it.

    Backup drive?
    Subscribe to iTunes Match?
If neither of the above and you don't have the CD and can't find your tracks on the computer then they you're stuck.  A file recovery utility will cost $100, plus another $100 for an external drive to which to resue the files, and may not even work.  You can buy a lot of CDs for $200.

  • How do I find music from Turkey?

how do I find music from Turkey?

I don't know of any easy way to search for Turkish music. All I can suggest is that you use the Browse feature (it's under the Quick Links on the home iTunes Store page) and browse the World section. Whether there's any Turkish music on the iTunes Store at all I don't know.
    Regards.

  • How do I find music I want by sample?

There is a sample of music in YouTube. I want to find more of the same by that sample. So how do I find more?
The sample is of laser harp play, but I am interested in the sound of it. The sound is deep and metallic, vibrating, almost menacing, mysterious at least. It is kind of space music, but I want that deep metallic vibrating sound, not just whatever space music. The music doesn't need to be as happy as in the sample, I would like it more deep, mean, and mysterious too. The music can be ambient or then have more detail to it. But it shouldn't be bass booming, which I hate.
    Sample: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=sLVXmsbVwUs

Well, he does all kinds of space music songs like below in the link. That doesn't help much, because I want only music that has the metallic vibrating sound. The sound should play major role in the songs. I want to be able to find music by the sample, not searching through music I don't need. Also I would like to get other artists' music too, not only this one's.

  • How do I find music and movies that didn't copy over after restoring Ipod?

I restored my ipod and all of my movies and music didn't copy back over. (Most did.) How do I find the ones that didn't?  When I check Itunes it showed them in the cloud before and now they are not even showing up in Itunes.  What are we doing wrong?

    Hello Cindy,
It sounds like not all your purchases transferred to your computer before your restored your iPod touch.  I found an article with some steps to download your past iTunes purchases.  I recommend following the steps in the section titled "Apps, Books, Music, Movies, or TV shows on a computer" in the following article:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

  • How can I find music in iTunes media folder not included in my library

How can I find the items that are in iTunes music media file but are not currently in my library?  There is 7.5G and 1623 items in the music media file but only 5.95G and 1280 items in my library.  If I try add the media file to my library it duplicates. So how to find which files are missing from the library and only add those to my library?

Try using a software that its designed to find duplicates, such like these: http://www.howtogeek.com/201007/how-to-find-and-remove-duplicate-files-on-mac-os -x/
Search and proceed to do the deletions, copy or cuts necessary

  • How Do I Find Music Store for Canada?

I recently moved to Toronto, but my account is listed as a US-only account. How do I use my newly updated account profile to access the Canadian Music Store?

Whether it 'has been said many times already' or not . . . the fact is . . . The Canadian sound recording industry is dominated by four multinational record companies which control anywhere from 80% to 90% of the Canadian music market. These four record labels are global giants in the music industry. Nearly every CD in anyone's collection came from one of these companies. Listed under each is a sampling of its subsidiary record labels.
    Universal Music Group
    100 Universal City Plaza
    University City, CA 91608
    MAJOR LABELS:
    Interscope/Geffen
    Island Records
    Def Jam
    MCA Records
    Mercury Nashville
    Motown Records
    Verve Music
    Universal Records
    Sony/BMG Music Entertainment
    550 Madison Ave, 2nd FLoor
    New York, NY 10022-3211
BMG International Companies: Canada: Vik Recordings
    MAJOR LABELS:
    Arista Records
    BMG Classics
    BMG Heritage
    BMG International Companies
    Columbia Records
    Epic Records
    J Records
    Jive Records
    LaFace Records
    Legacy Recordings
    Provident Music Group
    RCA Records
    RCA Victor Group
    RLG - Nashville
    Sony Classical
    Sony Music International
    Sony Music Nashville
    Sony Wonder
    Sony Urban Music
    So So Def Records
    Verity Records
    EMI Group
    EMI Music North America
    150 5th Avenue
    New York NY 10011
    MAJOR LABELS:
    Angel Records
    Blue Note Records
    Capitol Records
    EMI Classics
    Grand Royal Records
    Virgin Records
    Warner Brothers Music
Part of the Time Warner Companies
    MAJOR LABELS:
    Atlantic Records
    Elektra Records
    Reprise Records
    Warner Brothers JazzSpace
    Warner Brothers Records
    Warner Classics
And just think . . . they all have head offices located in the U.S. The only RECORD COMPANIES I could find listed in the Music Directory Canada were: 2M Records, 4Play Records, Agasea Records, Alert Music Inc., Alleged Iguana Music and Analekta. However, I did find BMG Music Canada listed under RECORD DISTRIBUTORS, which is affiliated with Sony/BMG Music Entertainment.
So, perhaps the complaint is somewhat legitimate . . .

  • How to easy find music in Library that wasn't added to any Playlist?

Hi, people. A very particular question: normally, I have all my music in Library and added to a specific Play list. How can I easy search music in Library that weren't added to any play list yet?
And LBNL how can I easy search music that doesn't exist (only link in iTunes) to delete the broken link?
    thanks for your tips.

There's a slightly cumbersome way of finding out which songs aren't in a playlist. From the File menu in iTunes, Select Make a New Playlist folder. Call it whatever you want. Then, move all of your playlists into that folder (don't worry, you can move them again later). Then, from the File menu, choose Make a new Smart Playlist. The criterion for the Smartplaylist should be "Playlist is NOT <name of playlist folder>". The songs in the resulting playlist will be the ones that aren't in the other playlists.
    Best of luck.

  • How do I find music I downloaded from a cd on my iTunes library?

So about 2 years ago I downloaded a CD onto on my iTunes and iPad from my computer. I recently got an iPhone and after I logged into icloud, all my music showed up except for the songs on the CD. I went on my laptop and went to my music library and the music did not appear there. Not sure if this is important but I don't have the computer anymore that I downloaded the CD on. How do I get the music back?

Unless you subscribe to iTunes Match you should not expect media ripped on one computer to be available on another unless you actively migrate your library to the new computer. If it is still on the iPad you may be able to recover it using one of the tools listed in Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device, or you can re-rip the CD (if you've sold or given it away you should no longer keep a copy of the tracks), or you can buy it again.
