How do i find my apple id by my phone number
I cant remember my apple id or password and my email that was used for the account is no longer active. How can i go about looking for my account by my phone number that was used when the account was set up? my phone is currently locked and cant do anything until i get that apple id and password that was used when the phone first got set up. PLEASE HELP!!!!
Well your Apple ID is your email address. And to reset the password you either need to have access to the email address itself or to be able to answer the security questions. You can try calling AppleCare and see if they can help also.

Go to Settings/icloud. The Apple ID at the top of the screen is the only one you need to be concerned about. That one MUST be a working ID, and you must know the password for it, or you will be unable to use the phone if it ever crashes, you want to update it, or you want to sell it.

Thanks....Launch Keychain Access and click on Login in the left hand pane and then on Passwords. Next do search for Apple in the search field at the top and click on Apple ID Authenicication in the list that comes up. That will give you the ID no. and password.

I have Iphone 4s, and the phone will activate itself again. This I have verified, but when I shall put this onto my phone, so the phone will not approve the newusername and password. How do I get changed Apple ID on my phone so that I get using the new username and password that is verified? Silly to buy a new phone just for this .... The phone is almost three years old. It sounds like your device might be in Activation Lock. Is it asking your to enter in an Apple ID & password, but only showing you the first letter of the email address and then some dots? Example: j•••••@icloud.com?
If so, do you recognize that email? Do you have an Apple ID that fits the same format? If so, then go to www.cloud.com, log in with that Apple ID & password, and see if under Find My iPhone it shows this device. If so, turn off the device, then remove the device from the list. -

how do you change your apple id on your phone. Trying to update aps and it wont let me because its still using old apple id.
Delete them and then download them from the desired Apple ID. This may require repurchasing paid applications.

As I said, and Varjak said, if it is setup in iCloud, login to iCloud from your comptuier or other device, click on Find My and find the entry for the iPod, and if it is turned on and connected to the internet it will show up.
