How do I find the question I asked yesterday? I can't find it!!

I am in Australia. I ask a question, go to bed, get up the next day and there are a million new questions and answers - how do I find mine. Have searched for for what seems hours!!

Argh - I'm having the same problem. I can't find the My Contributions link - how do I get to the "Main Forum" page? Where's the link to that? I seem to be able to get to My Dashboard easily enough. Why isn't it there? Navigation is pretty bad when you have to post a question on how to find your own questions.

Go to the "Forum" where you can browse all questions and at the top of the list of questions you will see links to "solved", "unsolved", "my contributions". My contributions will show your questions.

I lost my question, too. But I believe I found it. Go to Support Forum Home. (The link is on right side of web page or go directly: https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions ) A little ways down from the header, there is a way to sort the comments, like "Most Recent" and "Most Requested." Let your eye go further right on that same line where the filter lets you select "My Contributions." If your question was put in the Support Forum, you might be able to find it this way. How do i find old questions/answers

Recently updated to Maverick. Now I can not find the feature in the support communities to look up my old discussions. How can I do that? Or, if I forget the answer, do I have to ask again and start over?

How do I find "my questions"?

Previously on this forum, I was easily able to sign in and check back on all posts I had recently made. I now cannot find the link for this - can someone point me in the right direction?
I just want to see all of the posts I have made, categorised by those that have been answered and those that have not.

I am aware of my profile section - but the "My Questions" link is nowhere to be seen. All I can look at is recent activity, which includes any discussion thread I happen to have been browsing or contributing to.
What I am trying to find is just the questions I have asked.

Reviewing your contributions does not allow you to view the questions you asked in the support forums. That is only for the "Contributor Forums". Firefox support doesn't allow you to review your questions easily. You have to search the forums for it and hope that it shows up on the first couple pages of results.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

I don't know any way you can interrogate iDVD to reveal settings to the extent that you can in a Compressor project. What you could do is open up the show's VOB in MPEG STreamclip, go to File and Reveal Stream Information; that will at least give you some rudimentary info like average bit rate. Perhaps someone, with more iDVD experience, can chime in here.
The broader question is why use Compressor at all if your current workflow is doing the job to your satisfaction?
The value of Compressor is that it gives you control over the many parameters that affect size quality. and playability. The Compressor presets can give you a starting point for DVD delivery, Web, etc. From those presets, people typically experiment by adjusting the parameters until they get the desired results for their specific show. It's a little bit science and a little bit art. After experimenting, you may be able to get slightly better quality for the project you've successfully burned in iDVD by using Compressor and something likeToast…or maybe not.

If you have a rescue email address set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you might see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address set up then go to Express Lane and select 'iTunes' from the list of 'products' in the middle of the screen.
Then select 'iTunes Store', and on the next screen select 'Account Management'
Next choose 'iTunes Store Account Security' and fill in that you'd like your security questions/answers reset.
You should get an email reply within, I think, about 24 to 48 hours (and check your Spam folder as well as your Inbox)

I don't think anyone can tell you the answers to your security questions.
The best thing is if you setup a rescue email address, then you can reset the questions and answers yourself.
If not, you will need to contact iTunes Store Support for help.
