How do i find out or reset my user account password?

i just downloaded osx lion and mac prompted me for a user password and i have no idea what that is or how to find out what it is.

You need to cancel the Lion install for now.
Print this out as your going to be off the computer.
If you have the 10.6 disk then stick it in the computer and reboot holding c
The second screen in is the OS X installer, but if you look under the Utilities menu you can reset your pasword.
If you don't have a 10.6 disk your going to need to do this
Grab the name of the user account you want to reset the password for, write it down.
The Easy Password Reset Way. (no disk required)
1: Reboot the machine holding Command and S keys,you'll boot into single user mode.
2: Type in each command below followed by Enter or Return
fsck -fymount -uw /passwd "username"
(where "username" is the users name of the password your trying to change)
Example:
fsck -fymount -uw /passwd johnnyboy
If you don't know the name of the users then enter
ls /Users/
and you'll see three items: .localized, Shared, and a "username"
When done
exit
or
reboot
(note: if a firmware password is set, this or c booting from theinstaller cd will not work)

So better solution run the query twice over AGR1251 first on IT0008 and secondly on values W OR R and then the result over table AGR_USERS
Youu also might put an additional selection on object P* (only selecting HR objects)
output wll be UID in table AGR_USERS

How do I find out which "page" the user was on

I am using JAVA servlets and XSLT's to create a web service. I need to know how I can use the HTTPRequest that is sent to me to the server to find out, which "page" they were on when they clicked the login link.
The login link appears on all "pages" and once they click it a loginServlet is activated an a login page is shown. I need to know which "page" they were on so I can take them back to it after login has completed.
So take for example I am at http://localhost:8080/contact/ and then they clicked a hyperlink with value http://localhost:8080/login to call loginServlet. I know getPathInfo will give me the "/login" but how do i get that "/contact" so i can send them back to that page once the system has logged them in.
Any help, suggestions, comments would be highly appreciated it. Thanks.

Once a user account is deleted from AD, is there any way to query AD and find out what date the account was deleted?

Yes, that's the preferred solution. In addition, if tombstone time
hasn't expired, you can check DeletedObjects (use adexplorer for that)
and have a look at "WhenChanged".

I cannot reset my user account password...

After upgrading to Lion, several old user accounts appear on my login list (all of which are administrator status.) I tried to save the settings to automatically log in to my most current account, but the password does not match, and I think I will have to reset it. Resetting my master password did not make a difference, and in System Preferences/ User & Groups, I selected "Allow user to reset password using Apple ID" but cannot find any resetting options from there. I would like to try to reset my account password versus creating an entirely new account. Any suggestions are appreciated!

I've forgotten my forum username. Resetting the password sends me a new password but that's useless without my username.
I can't set up a new account because it says "an account with that e-mail address already exists".
I can't use my e-mail address to log in either.

when a purchaser reads my email message in mailchimp, I am provided with the user details, email address used, state located in, etc.....why can't I get the same information from Apple iTunes when a purchaser downloads a paid copy of my iBook from the Itunes bookstore.????? in order to complete the download of a purchased iBook, that information is gathered by Apple, but is not provided to the iBook author.....any solutions out there...

All Apple will give you are sales counts and other such general information. Personal information about individual purchases will not be available to you.

How can i find out what cursor the user has selected on an xy graph?

I have an XY graph in which while the program runs it will be creating cursors in certain locations on the plot. I want to give information about this cursor when selected upon, I THOUGT that active cursor does this.. but appreently not.. it seems to jsut keep spitting out 0, any ideas?

You might look at the Selected Cursors property. It indicates which
cursors will be acted upon by the movement palette. It should be
equivalent to the small LED buttons on the cursor palette.

Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears.
