How do I find the serial numbers for the software on my computer... iWeb for example.

I have had my MBP for a couple of years. I decided to try iWeb but it wants me to register the SW. I have no clue what the marketing part number is or the serial number. Does anyone know where I can find this info? If I am not mistaken the SW came preinstalled on my computer.

Most programs will not store the serial numbers in a way that you can locate them. When you purchased iWeb you should have been given a serial number to use in the box, or via e-mail. iWeb does not come preinstalled on systems anymore and has been discontinued. At one point Apple did release a commercial version of the software that required a serial number, so this may be what you have.

- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.

Where can I find the serial numbers of the defective Seagate 1T hard drives that were in iMacs?
I tried Seagate site.
Not the iMac serial #, I know about the recall program. We are looking at a refurbished (not Apple) iMac & it has a Seagate 1T HD, naturally, we want to know if it is one of the bad ones.

2 of my company's computers were stolen. unfortunately i never wrote down the serial numbers of the hardware. police report and insurance requires it. i know that when i first bought them, apple required me to register them. how can i access that info to get my serial numbers?

HT4367 why do the serial numbers on the Apple TV have to be so small.

I'll come clean. I'm 50 years old. My Apple TV gave trouble so I went to Apple support. Enter your serial number printed on the bottom of your Apple TV. It is printed on the in black on a black backround. It immediatly made my think of Douglas Adams but then it made me think I'd never be able to read it. I got a magnifyng glass..... no use. I got my wife......... no use. I got a passing 8 year old who read it out without pause.

Unable to allocate the Serial Numbers for PO receipts?

I want to allocate the serial numbers for the PO receipts for this i have done the following steps. (we are using the 11.5.10.2 version)
Serial Control at Organization Parameter Level is
Uniqueness With in Inventory items
Generation At Item level
Case 1: Items > Inventory Tab
Serial
Generation at Receipt
Prefix xxx
Serial 001
Now, i have created the PO While performing the receipts the Lot/Serial tab is not enabled
Note: I have generated the serial numbers from the On-Hand quantity > Generate Serial Numbers. then raised the PO and then performed the PO receipt.
Important: Under Items >Inventory Tab here the Material status for Serials is disabled and Material Status is not found under Setup > Transactions, is this feature is new in R12, please clarify this dount also.

I'm not sure whether you already got the answer for your issue.
If you are still looking for answer then, can you check the following:
- The INV org in which you have entered the serial number generation details (Prefix, starting serial no etc) for the item is same as the receiving org for PO receipt
- While doing PO receipt the "Destination Type" is Inventory
Material status control functionality for Lot and Serial is not new in R12. It is also available in 11.5.10. However your issue is not linked to Material Status for Serial.
The default Serial status is 'Active' To define additional material statuses to be used in INV you need to use WMS responsibility even if you are not using WMS.

Need help with the serial numbers

Hi Gurus,
I am facing this problem of dealing with the embeded spaces in the serial numbers of the meters.
The standard MIGO transaction doesnot allow the use of spaces in the serial number entries. Even if some one puts a space in the field the system totally ignores the space and accepts the serial number without the space.I tried to convince the client for the use of the hyphen instead of the space. The client is ok with it but wants that the system should automatically pick up hyphen instead of the space. Which actually means that the agents will enter the serial number with the space and then then system will pick up serial numbers and replace it with the hyphen all the time.
Can any one suggest me a solution to this problem.
I will definately award points if the right solutions is given.

Standard FM to get the Serial Numbers associated with the STO

I want to get the list of serial numbers which are issued against the STO (serialised material assigned to an STO) and the list of serial number for which the receipts has been done. I want a standard FM to get all these details of an STO.
I tried the standard FM, "BAPI_PO_GETDETAIL1" and "BAPI_PO_GETDETAIL". These standard FM doesn't retured the serial number collection. Please tell me which standard FM will return the serial numbers and the receipts list for the STO.
