After upgrading to FF 11.0 and RoboForm v7.7.4 graphics do not show up on my screen in Yahoo or MSN. I don't know where the problem is or how to fix it. Do you?

So, do you mean that Images on certain websites aren't appearing? Let's try a few things that might help.
First, try clearing your cache ([[How to clear the cache|How to clear the cache]]). Firefox stores temporary copies of frequently visit websites to your computer to speed web browsing, but that store sometimes doesn't work properly. Clearing it will help us determine if there is an issue there or not.
If that doesn't work, the article [[Websites look wrong|Websites look wrong]] has several steps you can take to try to resolve your issue.

Did you check your security software (firewall)?
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

How do I fix colour picker to work across different colour-managed monitors?

Hey everyone!
I'm assuming this problem I'm having stems from having colour-calibrated monitors, but let me know if I'm wrong!
To preface, this is the setup I have:
Windows 7
3 monitors as follows, all have individual colour profiles calibrated using the Spyder 3
Cintiq 12WX
Dell U2410
Dell 2409WFP
Photoshop CS6 - Proofed with Monitor RGB, and tested with colour-managed and non-colour-managed documents
I usually do most of my work on the Cintiq 12WX, but pull the photoshop window to my main monitor to do large previews and some corrections. I noticed that the colour picker wouldn't pick colours consistently depending on the monitor the Photoshop window is on.

Main Question
I know the Cintiq's video capture makes the picture look more saturated than the Dell's, but it actually looks fine physically, which is okay. But notice how the Cintiq's colour picker doesn't pick a matching colour. It was actually happening the opposite way for a while (Dell was off, Cintiq was fine), but it magically swapped while I was trying to figure out what was going on. Anyone know what's going on, and how I might fix it?

Semi-related Question regarding Colour Management
Colour management has always been the elephant-in-the-room for me when I first tried to calibrate my monitors with a Spyder colourimeter years ago. My monitors looked great, but Photoshop's colours became unpredictable and I decided to abandon the idea of calibrating my monitors for years until recently. I decided to give it another chance and follow some tutorials and articles in an attempt to keep my colours consistent across Photoshop and web browsers, at least. I've been proofing against monitor colour and exporting for web without an attached profile to keep pictures looking good on web browsers. However, pictures exported as such will look horrible when uploaded to Facebook. Uploading pictures with an attached colour profile makes it look good on Facebook. This has forced me to export 2 versions of a picture, one with an attached colour profile and one without, each time I want to share it across different platform. Is there no way to fix this issue?
Pictures viewed in Windows Photo Viewer are also off-colour, but I think that's because it's not colour managed... but that's a lesser concern.

I think I've figured out the colour management stuff in the secondary question, but the weird eyedropper issue is still happening. Could just be a quirk from working on things across multiple monitors, but I'm hoping someone might know if this is a bug/artifact.
Going to lay out what I inferred from my experiments regarding colour management in case other noobs like me run into the same frustrations as I did. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong - the following are all based on observation.
General Explanation
A major source of my problems stem from my erroneous assumption that all browsers will use sRGB when rendering images. Apparently, most popular browsers today are colour-managed, and will use an image's embedded colour profile if it exists, and the monitor's colour profile if it doesn't. This was all well and good before I calibrated my monitors, because the profile attached to them by default were either sRGB or a monitor default that's close to it. While you can never guarantee consistency on other people's monitors, you can catch most cases by embedding a colour profile - even if it is sRGB. This forces colour-managed browsers to use sRGB to render your image, while non-colour-managed browsers will simply default to sRGB. sRGB seems to be the profile used by Windows Photo Viewer too, so images saved in other wider gamut colour spaces will look relatively drab when viewed in WPV versus a colour-managed browser.
Another key to figuring all this out was understanding how Profile Assignment and Conversion work, and the somewhat-related soft-proofing feature. Under Edit, you are given the option to either assign a colour profile to the image, or convert the image to another colour profile. Converting an image to a colour profile will replace the colour profile and perform colour compensations so that the image will look as physically close to the original as possible. Assigning a profile only replaces the colour profile but performs no compensations. The latter is simulated when soft-proofing (View > Proof Colors or ctrl/cmd-Y). I had followed bad advice and made the mistake of setting up my proofing to Monitor Color because this made images edited in Photoshop look identical when the same image is viewed in the browser, which was rendering my images with the Monitor's colour profile, which in turn stemmed from yet another bad advice I got against embedding profiles . This should formally answer Lundberg's bewilderment over my mention of soft-proofing against Monitor Colour.
Conclusion and Typical Workflow (aka TL;DR)
To begin, these are the settings I use:
Color Settings: I leave it default at North American General Purpose 2, but probably switch from sRGB to AdobeRGB or ProPhoto RGB so I can play in a wider gamut.
Proof Setup: I don't really care about this anymore because I do not soft-proof (ctrl/cmd-Y) in this new workflow.
Let's assume that I have a bunch of photographs I want to post online. RAWs usually come down in the AdobeRGB colour space - a nice, wide gamut that I'll keep while editing. Once I've made my edits, I save the source PSD to prep for export for web.
To export to web, I first Convert to the sRGB profile by going to Edit > Convert to Profile. I select sRGB as the destination space, and change the Intent to either Perceptual or Relative Colorimetric, depending on what looks best to me. This will convert the image to the sRGB colour space while trying to keep the colours as close to the original as possible, although some shift may occur to compensate for the narrower gamut. Next, go to Save for Web. The settings you'll use:
Embed Color Profile CHECKED
Convert to sRGB UNCHECKED (really doesn't matter since you're already in the sRGB colour space)
and Preview set to Internet Standard RGB (this is of no consequence - but it will give a preview of what the image will look like in the sRGB space)
That's it! While there might be a slight shift in colour when you converted from AdobeRGB to sRGB, everything from then on should stay consistent from Photoshop to the browser
Edit: Of course, if you'd like people to view your photos in glorious wide gamut in their colour-managed browsers, you can skip the conversion to sRGB and keep them in AdobeRGB. When Saving for Web, simply remember to Embed the Color Profile, DO NOT convert to sRGB, and set Preview to "Use Document Profile" to see what the image would look like when drawn with the embedded color profile

Business Graphics don't work properly

Hello everyone.
I created some graphics with an older version of web dynpro. There it was easy for me to create graphics with different kinds of chart types by adding some additional series in the chart designer. But if I do it the same way in my actual version, I only get to see that chart type, that is defined as the default one. Does anybody know, how I can fix this problem?
Is this problem eventually related to the configuration of the graphics server?

Hi everyone
I have been using my phone for more than 3 months now and today I took a video. To my surprise, there was no audio recorded. I tried using the Voice command (Long press Windows key) and it does not pick up my voice. I tried the voice option in the search, and I got the same result - no audio being detected.
When I call people, they could hear me. When I turn to speakerphone, that's when it stops working as well.
How do I fix this?

Try soft resetting your phone by pressing volume down + lock key for about 10-15 seconds, until your phone vibrates and release the buttons, this will reboot your phone.
If this doesn't fix the problem, there may be a hardware failure, which means you may need to visit a nokia care center.

The 'Yellow' Middle Round Button on the Upper Left Side of the Screen is no longer 'Yellow' and Nothing Happens when I pick it. How do I fix this so it works?

All three buttons used to have a color associated with them. Red (furthest left), Yellow (middle) and Green (right). Red shut down Firefox, Yellow hid Firefox from the screen and Green refreshed or enlarged the screen. Not only is the middle button no longer yellow, but when I pick it nothing happens. Firefox graphics don't work after Adobe Readerr X installation...

I have recently had to update to Adobe Reader X. It works fine in the sense that it reads saved pdf files, but since updating graphics and video streaming (such as youtube) in Firefox have stopped working. Everything still works fine in Chrome but Firefox is my main browser and I don't want to replace it with Chrome.

The photos in this link show you what is happening. When I go to youtube there should be graphics - usually an advertisement - at the top of the main page - where the arrow points, but all I get is blank. The videos display a "play" arrow but when I click on it all I get is "please try again later" and this is for every video. On Google Maps when I go into street view, again, all I get is blank???
Like I said, this does not occur in Chrome but I only use Chrome as a backup and I don't want to switch. Also, I can't go back to using an older version of Adobe Reader because I had to update to X due to a printing problem which is now fixed. So does anyone know how I can resolve this problem?

How do I fix my iMessage to work with my phone number?

Two days ago, my iMessage randomly decided to stop working. I am abroad in Asia right now so I have been using iMessage to keep in touch with friends and family at home (US) when I am connected through wifi.
My issue is that under the "Send and Recieve" in the iMessage settings, my phone number is not listed. Originally, it was greyed out and not selected but after going to an Apple store here and rebooting the settings, the phone number disappeared all together. I have turned off/on wifi, airplane mode, imessage, facetime, date/time, etc. I know the Apple ID is registered with my phone number because when I choose to sign out of my Apple ID and the sign back in under the iMessage settings, my phone number and email are selected to be used. But when I click Next, only my email is shown.
I will be abroad at least a few more weeks and would really like for it to work here again. I'm afraid it won't work when I'm back in the US as well. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Correct, my cellular data is currently off. I don't think this will solve my problem because I was able to use iMessage before without my data and only on wifi. If nothing else works, I will try this. But I would like to try to find a solution that doesn't require me using data.

I connect POWER MAC G4 to a samsung E2220N monitor (VGA cable)
The power mac recognize the monitor and propose all mode.
I chose 1920x1080 resolution.
The power MAC G4 work well in this mode
But when I want to restart the power MAC, It seems to block on boot with no start sound
and a black screen.
So I connect the old screen in 1024x768 mode and on power up the mac starts normally.
The power mac G4 has a RAGE 128 PCI card with 16MB RAM ROM version 113-574070-204
What can I do ? update VGA card firmware ? make the mac start in 1024x768 mode then switch to 1920x1080 ? ...

The Rage 128 card is pretty limited by today's technology. With older Macs, it was common for the computer to start to a fixed default resolution and then change to the user's setting after all the extensions and preferences loaded. It's possible that the card or the monitor are trying for an unsupported resolution at startup.

If performance on the hi-res setting is acceptable, this would be more cost-effective than a new video card. Finding Mac PCI video cards is getting harder as they have not been made in for ~5 years. A used ATI 128 Nexus would double the VRAM to 32MB but the GPU† is basically the same and you now have.
An original Radeon Mac edition card would be excellent (32MB); it's successor, the Radeon 7000 would be an improvement over what you now have but its GPU was not quite as powerful as the original Radeon. The last PCI Mac video card was the ATI Radeon Mac Edition 9200. It basically had the Radeon 7000's GPU but carried 128MB VRAM. However, it does work as well in OS9 if you need to use that system.
What can I do ? update VGA card firmware ?
Unfortunately, since AMD bought ATI, it has bee much harder find Mac resources on their site. I failed with a brief look this morning--will tried later today with a more thorough search.

How to get dual graphics card to work together?

I have an L series satellite with dual graphics card that wont work together. Its an AMD Radeon 3400m apu with an HD 6520G integrated , and a 6400m discrete graphcs card.
The 6400m will never turn on, I have used amd system monitor to see if it is ever used, but it never is.
Even when the 6520g is at full load it wont turn on.
Any suggestions would be helpful.

As far as I know this theme has been already discussed here in the forum and the switch between internal and external ATI GPU is not supported.
Just the Optimus technology designed by nVidia is supported
So you can switch between Intel GPU and nVidia (if both would support the Optimus technology)

Nothing firefox is starting, how can i fix it if nothing works?

recently my firefox wont start even though every other browser works fine. i've tried the fixes here but no form of firefox program will start and task manger doesnt show them. i've tried uninstalling and clearing the appdata and still nothing. nothing seems to be fixing the problem even at a fresh start.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features(Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (If this won't uninstall press on)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
and paste into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.

As the question says, I cannot read the content in the right frame in Google Reader. This was also a problem when I was using Firefox 9.0.1. It was definitely not a problem prior to the Christmas holidays, so I don't know if it has something to do with new updates either Firefox or Google has made (I posted on their forum as well).

Both your Conduit Engine, particularly, and Alexa Toolbar are known troublemakers. I would advise Googling both for advice and removal instructions.
