My ipod touch screen has green and white stripes on it, and I've tried restoring it, charging it, and turning it off!!! Please Help!!
Presuming it's still under warranty, take it into the apple store and have them look at it.

No. You can only sync an iPod from media in your iTunes library.
If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar and Control+B to show the Menu bar
To import music into your iTunes library on the computer go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Add items to iTunes and follow the instructions
To sync to your iPod go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod....>Sync You Device> and follow the instructions. -

My ipod touch 4th generation randomly turned off and will not turn back on or charge. I have tried restarting it, resetting it, and letting it "charge" for weeks but nothing has worked. It is not registered by itunes when plugged into the computer either and there hasn't been anything dramatically done to it. I also cannot do anything to update its software since it isn't being recognized by itunes or turning on.

Can someone please help me. I need to find out if my iPod Touch 4th Generation can be used for Air Play with my Apple TV. When I go to photos I can use Air Play to display them. But I cannot use airplay for my apps like Facebook, and My games like The Sims. I am using iOS 6.0.1. Is that the issue if so, When you be updating the 4th Gen. Touch to be able to use it with the 6.0.2 version. I beleive Apple can do better with this. hi, when I go to connect my ipod touch 4th generation to the computer an error sign come up which says either "this device is not recognised " or " there has been an error that has occured therefore ipod can not connect" this is problem 1.
problem 2. is that when my ipod does connect, if I bump the chord it logs out straight away and not knowing what is happening I have tried everything like blowing in the connection turning my ipod on and off and even restoring my ipod to its original settings.
Once I restored it a sign in itunes said that it has found an ipod in recovery and to be able to use the ipod with itunes I had to restore and update which I have done many times but nothing is working PLEASE HELP!!!

My ipod touch 4th gen is a having a few problems with charging and turning on, my ipod comes up with the extremely low on power symbol and then i put it into my computer and it comes up with the charging symbol then it goes to the apple logo and then onto a blank white screen and then turns off and repeats that process i have tried various things including resetting my ipod trying to connect it to itunes but it doesnt come up with anything so i cant reset it on itunes and have tried various charging devices.
Tried it but it won't do anything all it does is make the screen do a very small flash of white and then continues doing the same thing appearing with apple logo then the white screen and off and keeps repeating that
I'm guessing the white small flash means it's been reset when I hold the 2 buttons down,

How do you restore a ipod touch 4th generation that you do not have to lock code too?
Hey guys,
I need some help.. my little brother got a ipod touch for christmas last year. He lost it sometime this year, and i found it the other day. When he lost it, it had a lock code on it, and now he can't remember the lock code. Itunes wont let me restore it without the lock code. This is a troublem because we can't do anything with the ipod. If someone knows how to unlock the ipod without the lock code or the serial number being needed that would help a lot. He also doesn't have the serial number because when he got the box he threw it away, and there are too many scratches on the back of the ipod to recover the serial number.
