Any place else it is fine but about a month ago when I log into my yahoo mail the words are so small I can barley read it. If I go to internet Explorer it is fine but I don't want to use that. It is only in my email.

When I log into my yahoo mail, I also log into messenger and chat via there, but the last two days I can't get my IM window to come up. It says Java script on the left corner, but I check those settings and they are on. So what else could be the problem?

My contacts list comes up, but when I click on the person's name I want to chat with, the IM boxes doesn't pop up like it used to. I checked java script and that is on, I even opened up I.E. logged into my email, clicked on a name, and what you know, the IM box popped up and I can chat. So what is the problem here?

You have to respond to the verification email that Apple should have sent to you by clicking the Verify Now link. Make sure you check the email address you used to set up your iCloud account. This would not normally be an @icloud.com email address. Also make sure you check the spam/junk folder as well as the inbox. If it isn't there, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Resend under your Primary Email Address to resend the verification email.

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

Cannot log into my yahoo mail account from my iphone4.

I cannot log into my yahoo mail account from my iphone4. The password does not have any special characters. On my PC there is no problem.
Also cannot configure Add Yahoo mail. I woould get a message, stating "Verification required. Log into your Yahoo! account at www.yahoo.com". when I attempt this I get "Invalid ID/Password".

Tried eveyrhting and this was the way that fixed it for me --
if you are having an issue adding the yahoo mail account on an iphone/ ipad / ipod.
In the app store download the yahoo mail app for iphone (it works on ipads and ipods as well.. but there's only an iphone version). After downloading it - open and sign in. It's likely it will say that your yahoo account is 'locked' due to suspicious activity - follow the prompts to unlock it.
Now add the yahoo account under the ipad mail settings.
It should work in the regular ipad, iphone, ipod mail application now.

I don't know how this happened. I just started using iChat today and it showed my brother name when I logged into my own AIM account on my own MacBook Pro and I want to change it because it's not my name.

Even if you put a credit or debit card on file with iTunes it will still use your balance FIRST.
I would suggest putting a card on file and testing to see if it will allow you to make a purchase, then removing the card from the account after successful download of an item.

As the Other threads suggests I would check the Date and Time settings on the Mac and compare that with the settings in the router.
Messages (and iChat before that) send Time stamped info to Login and to send IMs.
Obviously most people set their Macs to their Time Zone and nearest city/town.
What people sometimes forget is that their Router/Modem device(s) have to be set correctly as well.

Also Add a Public DNS server to your System Preferences> Network > Advanced Button > DNS tab
A Google one such as 8.8.4.4 or 8.8.8.8 seem to work well for most people

I have a 27" imac. If I log on to yahoo mail, the color wheel comes up and i cant check email or send. It only happens as soon as i log into my yahoo mail! Please help someone.

If you are using web based email (accessing from Safari), from the Safari menu bar click Safari / Preferences then select the Security tab.
Click: Show Cookies
Delete all Yahoo cookies.
Now from the menu bar again click Safari / Empty Cache.
Restart your Mac, launch Safari. Try Yahoo.
If the problem persists, there's a better way to access your Yahoo mail without a browser.
Launch the Mail application. Either from your Dock or Applications folder.
From the Mail menu bar click Mail / Preferences then select the Accounts tab then the Account Information tab.
Click + under the Accounts window on the left.
Type in your name, Yahoo email address and password.
Click: Create
No more having to use Safari or any browser to access your Yahoo mail. Just click the Mail icon in the Dock.

If deleting and adding it back in doesn't work, try to just wait it out. Yahoo messes with their servers on a regular basis and when they mess with the one your account is on, your account has issues. They often resolve in a few hours to a day or so.
Sometimes you just have to wait it out because if it's on their end nothing you do will resolve it.

Firefox will not keep me logged into my yahoo mail or yahoo home page

I can log into my homepage, then go to a news article or something else, hit the back or home button to go back to my home page and it wants me to log in again. Same thing with yahoo mail. This happens about 60% of the time. Sometimes it does take my back to my home page or mail accoount.

There are a number of tabs at top of my inbox such as sign out, search email, help, etc. They do not work. For example cannot insert a name for search email- will not give me the curser to do this. When I use internet explorer these tabs do work so not a problem with Yahoo mail- must be problem with Firefox. Recently updated Firefox.

Go to the System/Internet Accounts preference pane and delete the Factbook account. Reboot, go back to the Accounts preference pane and add Facebook back but with your account information.

If clearing the cookies doesn't help then it is possible that the file cookies.sqlite that stores the cookies is corrupted. 
Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete cookies.sqlite-journal and cookies.txt, if they exist, in the Firefox Profile Folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.
You can try to switch on Private Browsing ot see if that works with a new set of cookies.
