How do I force CC Manager to redownload my apps?

I've recently lost my secondary drive (where my Adobe apps are installed).  I've recovered everything from my BRU backups, but I would rather reinstall the latest CC apps from scratch.  How can I get the CC Manager to allow me to redownload all of my apps since it currently thinks that everything is up to date?

CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when they are not

  • How does one force Application Manager to do a re-install?

    I uninstalled Acrobat X to try and resolve some issues with plugins, but Adobe Application Manager insists it's already installed and won't let me download or attempt to re-install it again..
    Can one force a re-install of an already installed application?  Or at least persaude AAM to re-evaluate what is and what isn't installed?  After all, I used it to install these apps - it should have some idea of what's what..

    I am not using the complete ADF framework. Just plain struts, JSP and BC4J.
    What I want to do is to have one struts action to set a

    Then i release the application module. In another struts action I want to get the same application module with the

    Pseudo for Action 1:

    I cannot make this work. If I put the am from action1 in the session object and retrieves it from the session in action2 it works. But I need to release the appmodule in action 1 since I have no guarantees that the user will run action2..
    I have read the paper of Steve Muench "Understanding Application Module Pooling Concepts and: Configuration Parameters"
    This document says:
    "ADF application modules provides the ability to snapshot and reactivate their pending state to XML (stored on the file system or in the database), and the ADF application module pooling mechanism leverages this capability to deliver a "managed state" option to web application developers that simplifies building applications like the example just given.
    As a performance optimization, when an instance of an AM is returned to the pool in "managed state" mode, the pool keeps track that the AM is referenced by that particular session. The AM instance is still in the pool and available for use, but it would prefer to be used by the same session that was using it last time because maintaining this so-called "session affinity" improves performance.
    I have set my bc4j configurations to
    releasmode = STATEFUL
    jbo.passivationstore = databse
    jbo.server.internal_connection= my jdbc connection
    But the appmodule returned in action2 is not the same as the one returned in action1.
    I am using jdev 9052 and deploying to oc4j 904 standalone.
    I guess I have to use som other commands for retrieving/ releasing the AM or set some properties on it, but I have not found any documentation for this.
    Any tips on how to achieve this bc4j session state to work in a plain struts , bc4j environment is appreciated.

    The Configuration.createRootApplicationModule() and companion releaseRootApplicationModule() API's are not for use in web applications. They are designed for use by simple command-line console programs.
    Using the BC4J application module pool programmatically in a web environment should be done like the JDeveloper 9.0.3/9.0.4 "Pooling" sample illustrates.
    In the JDev 9.0.3 or 9.0.4 version, see the sample project under ./BC4J/samples/Pooling

    Well if there is a EFI block, then running a program in OS X isn't going to do a lick of good.
    After all EFI was designed for Trusted Computing and Digital Rights Management, to act between the OS and hardware, can read drives, contact the Internet and everything.
    Windows doesn't use EFI, will have UEFI in Windows 8 though.

Right now Diadem will only graph it the other way around. I have tried deleting the curves and re-adding them in differnt orders, changin the order they are in the curve list, changing their order inthe data portal, right clicking on the curve and selecting "move to forground" (this only moves the entire 2-d graph object to the foreground). Im using Diadem 12.0 Basic.

    Hello Joe,
    I figured out what causes your curves to draw in the wrong "order".
    You are using two Y-axes, and DIAdem always draws the data for Y1 before Y2, no matter what the order of the curves is in the "Curve and Axis Definition" dialog.
    I am attaching your layout with a small modification, I changed the Y1 and Y2 axis order (I swapped which Y-axis the data is displayed on), and I get the following result:
    Once I looked at your layout it became clear why the order of the curves didn't reflect the order in which the curves were drawn. I didn't know this - so I just learned something new here as well.

    That looks like a normal password input form.
    Check that you haven't set a block exception.
    * Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: Exceptions
    You can also check if there are any entries for that site or entries with an empty name listed in the password manager.
    * Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords"
    If you click "Never" then you create an exception that needs to be removed.

    Yes - those were the first steps.  I have also tried the accessiblity assistant options and that also did not allow PDF's to open in Internet Explorer.  I was only able to correct it on one machine by fully removing Adobe Reader 11.0.04, removing the HKCU registry for Adobe and reinstalling.  This is not feasible on 1300 machines.  I would prefer a reg file that I can push, if I can identify which registry entries affect PDF opening in Internet Explorer.

    I have two 10G adapters teamed together, the virtual switch is created on top as converged network with several vNICs (MangementOS, LiveMigratrion, Backup, etc...)
    Each network is set with a specific VLAN to isolate the traffic.
    The two Hyper-V hosts are on the same LAN and domain.

    I have accomplished this by using a DNS pointer specifying an IP address on that dedicated network. That will force traffic done that network.

    Apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
    Fix #1
    1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
    2 - run Option #4 to rebuild the database followed by Option #1 if necessary.

    Using iPhoto Library Manager  to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
    1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
    2 - click on the Add Library button and select the library you want to add in the selection window..
    3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
    4 - In the next  window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
    5 - Click on the Create button.
    Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

    Drag playlists from iTunes in the Source to the iPod.
    If you want to delete a playlists from the iPod, in the Source in iTunes, click th eDisclosure triangle in front of the iPod name to display the playlists on the iPod.
    You should edit the playlists in iTunes and then drag them to the iPod.
    If you edit them only on the iPod in iTunes, and have to reload your iPod, the playlists will disappear.

    Downloaded and installed Adobe App Manager and an icon for it is on my Desktop
    Installed Creative Cloud.

    Now how do get my Photoshop CS6 back before I download Photoshop CC?
    CS6 is not listed in the available Apps in the CC Desktop.
    Support wait time right now is 2 hours by phone.
    After sitting on Chat yesterday only to see the people "waiting ahead of me" go from 17 to 18, I gave up.

  • I am having trouble completely emptying my trash on my mac.  It says items are in use, but they are not.  How do I force these items to be removed?

    I have copied dvds that I own, for backup copies, onto the desktop of my macbook.  Then I've placed a copy into iTunes for viewing later.  Once the copy is over in iTunes, I delete the copy of the movie on the desktop and it goes to the trash.  I do this because 1) I don't want to clutter up the desktop and 2) I don't want multiple copies of the movies on my hard drive.  When I go to empty the trash, it says these items are in use and will not remove them from trash.  Why is that?  They are not in use as far as I know.  How do I force them to be removed from trash?

    I had a similar problem.  I think it was caused by deleting an app while it was still running. I should have shut the app down before deleting freom the applications folder.  When I tried to empty trash I received message:
    "The operation can't be competed because the item something.app is in use."
    Go to utilities, open a terminal, change directory to the hidden Trash folder and remove the offending item in use. Example:
    cd ~/.Trash
    sudo rm -rf item
    Next time, maybe try quting iTunes before deleting and see if it makes any difference.
