How do I forward traffic to an IP Address from a gateway through an extreme?

I have a DVR for a Camera system attached to a WiFi Ethernet device (becuase there is too far a distance between the DVR and Cable Gateway). When it was attached directly attached to the cable modem, I used Port Forwarding to route traffic to the DVR. That worked great. NOW I have to use the WiFi adapter and that is connecting to the Airport Extreme. The Aiport Extreme is connected to that cable modem.
So I understand how to forward traffic from the modem to an IP address (the Extreme's IP perhaps ??) but then how do I send that traffic through the Extreme to the wifi-ethernet adapter connected to the DVR ?

I am on my mobile phone getting an address of 10...83 through the router 10...1.
Then the DVR setup on 10...69 IS accessible.
When I switch my wifi off (on the mobile phone) and I use the ip address (23…94) of the modem w/ port specification I do not get connected.
When I plug DIRECTLY into the Cable Modem and get an IP address of 10…53, via (Mac OS X) I CAN access the DVR again with ip of 10…69.
When I use WIFI (via the AE) I get an IP Address of 10…44 and CAN access the DVR as well.
I have also confirmed traffic is port forwarding to .69:7000 as per the port specified on the DVR.
So with all that it is confirmed, I tried it again and and still not working...
THEN I reset the AE, Resset the Wifi Adapter, Reset the DVR and updated Firmwares, started with the basics outline from everyone and IT'S WORKING!!
I believe it was actually all the AE and requiring a reset on that device.

How can I get my hp eprint email address from a remote location?

I am currently away from home and need to print something for my wife. I have tested out eprint before but never tried it from a remote location. I cannot recall the email address for my printer. Is there any way to retrieve this without being at the printer? I imagine that I had to sign in to the eprintcenter website to test this so alternatively, is there a way to retrieve the email address I used to set up my eprintcenter account? I am offered a way to retrieve the password but that doesn't help much if I cannot recall my eprintcenter account's email.

Hi Epoclaen,
I see that you are trying to locate your ePrint email address. The only way this can be done would be to log into your ePrint account so it would require you to remember your ePrint log on information. The email address that's used to create an account is usually your personal email address. I would try using your personal email address to log into the account. Let me know how it goes.

How do I configure airport to keep IP addresses from changing?

This is my configuration:
I have an Airport Extreme and 2 Airport Express. The Airport Extreme is connected to a hub, and the hub to the cable modem.
One item connected to the hub is a weather station which continually pushes localized weather info out to several servers. My problem is that occasionally airport changes the IP address of the weather station and the weather program on my Mac stops receiving input because in it's configuration, it is looking for a specific IP address to receive input.
Right now the AE has a "standard" configuration. That is, an Ethernet (using DHCP) connected in bridge mode. I am not knowledgable enough on the airport utility to put in any special configuration in fear of screwing the whole network up.
My question: Is there a way to manually assign an IP address to the weather station (which has a MAC ID) to keep it from changing? If so, how?

Sure, I can go to the ISP for a static IP but that is extra $$.
Please check my reply again. I suggested that you configure your modem/router.....the Speedstream....to provide a fixed IP address for the weather station. I did not suggest that you ask your ISP for a fixed IP address to be able to connect your network to the Internet. You do not need to do this.
Right now, your Speedstream modem/router is configured to handlle the DHCP and NAT services on your network. In other words, it is the "main"router tht handles all IP addresses for devices on your network.
In the internet connection page on my AE where right now it is in bridge mode why can't the airport connection be changed to "share a public IP" instead of bridge mode?
A word here about basic networking rules. If you configure the AirPort Extreme to "Share a public IP adress" it will be set up as a second router handling DHCP and NAT services.
But, you already have another device doing this....the Speedstream. You only want one device configured as a router on a home network. You never want two devices both trying to act as routers on a network.
Any other "routers" must be configured in Bridge Mode to allow everything to work correctly. So, Bridge Mode is the correct setting for your AirPort Extreme.
If you try to configure the AirPort Extreme as another router, you will have IP address conflicts and a condition know as Double NAT. Not good. The network will not function correctly.
Suggest that you check with Speedstream support to ask them how to assign a fixed IP address to a device on the network. Since the Speedstream is your main router, it must be the device that handles this.
In Bridge Mode, the AirPort Extreme simply passes through the network information that it receives from the Speedstream modem/router. It is not your "main" router. The Speedstream is calling the shots on your network, so it is the device that must be configured to provide the fixed IP address to the weather station.

How can i paste a column of email addresses from an excel spreadsheet into a Mail message To: window

In the past I have been able to send a group email by copying a column of email addresses from an Excel spreadsheet and pasting it into the To: window of an email message I had composed. I simply dragged my cursor down the column containing the email addresses, right-clicked Copy, put my cursor into the To: window of the email, and hit Paste. Mail recognized the list as a series of email addresses and I was able to hit Send and the email went on its way.
Today I tried to do this and after I hit Send I got an error message. It appears to me that Mail did not recognize the list as a series of individual email addresses but saw them as one long address; the error message said it "did not appear to be a valid email address". Has something changed in Mail? I recently installed Mavericks!
I can't be the only one who sends group emails this way. Are others experiencing this problem?

Now Tony, I know you can't hear my tone on a forum post but I was not complaining, simply stating facts . This change brought several people in my office to a grinding halt in a long established workflow that is really rather simple (and I thought was already assumed from the original post above ):
1) Select a set of records in FileMaker Pro 12 and export only their e-mail addresses as a CSV file.
2) Open that CSV file in Excel.
3) Copy the column of e-mail address.
4) paste into the appropriate recipient field in Mail.
5) Send
If I were to complain it would be about Apple's typically opaque approach to updates. There is no granular explanation of why changes were made or even "what" changes were made.
Complaining is futile since Apple is Apple and is unlikely to change, but sometimes it is cathartic to "shout into the void" .
I had thought about doing something with a formula in Excel and your suggestion was simple and helpful. Again, however, it is only a workaround for a long established helpful behavior that Apple has inexplicably broken/removed in Mavericks Mail.
I, and the other posters here, would love to have the capability back rather than have to add previously unneeded steps to our workflows.
Ultimately we may add scripting steps to the FileMaker side to export the address lists with commas inserted already if Apple ends up having permanently removed this feature.

I am on a simple free fan oriented college sports team opt in website, and I keep getting booted because I posted a picture in the comments section - totally PG. The moderator is being a punk and keeps booting me after two days no matter what different or new email I register with. I am 100% minding my own business and not being disruptive and simply reading about this particular college team I follow and all the commentary other similar fans post. I did not use any foul language or post any inappropriate messages. The moderator still keeps removing me after two or three days no matter what I do or do not do. He is just simply being difficult. I tried emailing and communicating with him and he says he does not have time for me and deletes my registered user name and blocks my access. What can I do to make myself look like a new registrant and just read the free articles like any other user without incurring the ire of this whiny little webmaster?

You don't have to shut down the computer to switch accounts. All you do is click the Apple symbol in the upper left and choose Log Out and that's it. You can also set up Faster User Switching by:
1. Open System Preferences - Accounts
2. Click Login Options
3. Check the box called "Show fast user switching menu as" then choose from either icon, short name or name.
Then when someone wants to switch users they can. The advantage of this method is if you are have a document open and don't want to close it the document will remain open. If the other user attempts to shut down the computer they can't until you have logged out thereby saving all your data.
A very simple and elegant solution.

How do I edit out the previous email addresses from the pop up list of address in Apple Mail?

Whenever someone sends me a new email address, I go to address book and edit the page. The problem is that whenever I go to send an email and start to type the address in, the drop down menu lists possible entries as I type, and it still keeps the old address on that list, sometimes above the new address and if I don't carefully check, it will go out to the wrong address.
It seems to hold onto the old addresses no matter what I do. I have edited, tossed out or changed in the address line of the email, and it still holds onto the old addresses.
Any suggestions?

If I start an email to John Doe. I type in his name and if I look at the drop down menu when I click his name, it will offer several options, including "open in address book". Makes sense. He is already there.
But some names, a few to be sure, have "add to address book" even though they are already there.
And if I open the address book and open their page, I will see all the info, just as I should.
But if I click on the "add to address book", the same email address is repeated on their page in the address book. So I could end up with the same email address 5 times on the page.
Someone told me once that if I cannot cure the bug then I should consider it a "feature".
